Marigold Nursing Home in Sunderland offers 24/7 residential care, elderly care, end of life care, respite care and general nursing care, as well as dementia care.

All rooms come with an en-suite facility, pets are allowed and residents can access WiFi from anywhere in the property.

The care home is set in the grounds of quiet and secluded mature gardens, with a large seating area for residents to enjoy fresh air with family and friends.

Languages spoken by staff include English, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. The team of nurses, carers, kitchen staff and assistants work hard to create a safe, comfortable and enjoyable place for residents to live.

The catering team provide a fresh balanced menu which is planned with the consultation of residents.

An activity coordinator helps to arrange a wide range of activities for individuals to get involved in, including sensory activities, doll therapy, gardening and shopping trips.

Everyone at Marigold has been extremely supportive. The staff have been sensitive to my father-in-law's needs. I have been kept informed of his care and any improvements or concerns. My father-in-law has settled into the routines. He has spoken well of the staff - very pleased with the standard of care.

I find that Marigold Nursing Home is very helpful and supportive and have a very friendly atmosphere. Nothing is a problem for them. They encourage families to come to meetings and also join in with activities. Warm and friendly. So pleased my dad is here.

I have visited the Marigold Nursing Home for three weeks (every day) and I can't find fault with a thing. All the staff are welcoming and very pleasant. The care given to my mother was A1. Excellent service all around.

Absolutely first-class care for our severely demented mother.
Exceptional staff.
Mum has settled so well due to the 24/7 care from being very frightened and confused at home but is now settled and safe.
The quality of care is excellent.

I find this home is the best anyone could wish for, the staff are so caring and excellent at their jobs. They also make everyone welcome when we attend visits. My brother has been in a few care homes and I must say this one exceeds in every way.

From the first step I took into Marigold Nursing Home I felt at ease and this is going to be perfect for my husband of fifty-six years whom I love dearly. All the staff are fantastic, I couldn't ask for more. The care and love they give is wonderful. I have given all excellent ratings, as far as I'm
concerned I can leave my husband in their care and feel content when I have to go home.
