Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge. Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

Mum was admitted to Greenview in early November 2024 having had a stroke. Mum has mild dementia. The team at Greenview couldn't have been more helpful. They were able to hold and secure a room for Mum on the memory unit and since arriving Mum has settled really well. Previously, my mother-in-law was also at Greenview, (Gracewell) and this is partly why we chose Greenview as a residential care home for Mum. The staff are truly amazing, supportive, understanding, caring and most of all they offer Mum the security and safety she requires and treating her with the utmost dignity and respect. The activities are plenty and Mum has already joined in the exercise classes and listening to a local school, with a choir service. I would not hesitate to recommend Greenview to anyone looking for a residential care home offering memory care support.

All staff are kind, patient and so friendly. Mum hasn't been at the home very long but they are already like family. They keep us very up-to-date with health and social matters. We can already see an improvement in her quality of life.

I am always very pleased to visit my husband at Greenview Hall. He always looks well-presented, clean and happy. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful and always have a sunny disposition. I feel that with his dementia, he is in the best place he could be.

We are also very delighted to read your comments about our team and the carers that have gone above and beyond to provide the best possible care for your mum. You’d be pleased to know that we have taken your feedback on board and changes have been made to accommodate more activities in the weekend. We also have a minibus that takes residents to the local attractions in the area – if your mum wishes to go a nearby park or do some shopping at her favourite local shop, just let us know and we will include it in our monthly residents’ meeting. Taking into account each resident’s needs and abilities, we are sure that your mum will have something to look forward to daily.

I moved into the home in February 2023. I would not pick one member of staff to highlight because everyone has made me feel welcome and at home. I enjoy the activities, and the staff take time to talk to me to pass the time. Whenever I need something for my room, they help e and always come quickly. They stay in touch with my family and always welcome them to use the facilities on Mohter's Day/my birthday. I didn't think I'd be content with living in a care home, but the care and attention I receive here have really changed my mind.

The carers and staff are all very pleasant, caring and obliging. One or two issues with things going missing but that's the nature of the place and residents. All spotlessly clean and Covid outbreaks dealt with promptly and efficiently.

In regards to lost items, items can sometimes go missing, such as small items of clothing like socks in our laundry or if residents have a specific mug they’ve bought from home they like to use, this may get misplaced if a member of housekeeping or the care team take this to clean for the resident – if any items go missing, please let us know and we’ll be happy to locate these for you. For valuables and money, we of course also have a safe in the home where we can store items too for safekeeping.

I am grateful that there is a caring, kind and supportive group of care staff around my mum. I'm grateful too for the way they always welcome me and other family members when we visit. We could not have chosen a better home.

In regards to food at Greenview Hall, our menus are all created with the wishes and requests of residents in mind, cooked fresh in-house, so if there’s anything in particular your mum would like – maybe a favourite dish, or something she’d love to try – then just let us know and our Head Chef will be more than happy to make this happen.

In regards to cost, there are cheaper, as well as more expensive, care homes in the area, but we feel our prices are fair for the high standard of care and lifestyle we offer here, including amazing activities, food and care. We did have to change our prices (as did other care providers) recently due to inflation as, like everyone else, our costs in key areas such as heating and food have increased. When prices change we always communicate this clearly in advance to residents and their families and the General Manager's door is always open to anyone with questions or concerns were always here to help wherever we can.

Three years later she is delighted she made that decision. She loves her room and small garden giving her great pleasure. The staff are all genuinely friendly, helpful and kind. The accommodation is kept to the highest standard. The food is varied and well-presented. Mum confirmed only this week that she is thankful she chose Greenview Hall and is very happy here. I can only reiterate the above and am thankful for the care provided.

I wanted to personally write and say a massive thank you to the team at Greenview Hall!
My grandad is literally living his best life he is so happy settled and content. All the staff are helpful and friendly. They are so wonderful and amazing and have done such great things with him that he has progressed so quickly and more than we could have imagined! He was so ill in hospital with constant chest infections / lost lots of weight / confusion / written off to ever being mobile in any way. He now can pick up a glass and a cup of tea / feed himself / and even more incredible he went from being hoisted to then using his wheelchair and frame and now it's mainly just the frame! This comes from the hard work and perseverance of the staff who look after him.
Nothing isn't ever too much bother for them.
I feel so grateful he is in such a fantastic place and being well looked after.
