Having been in Chandlers Court for nearly two months, I have settled very well. I love the decor, everywhere is modern and homely. Beautiful sunny lounge and bedroom. Food is very good and staff are wonderful very caring! Annie can't find fault.
My Mum recently moved to Chandler Court to be near family in Bromsgrove. It was a big change for her but staff have gone above and beyond to get to know her and help her settle. It is a lovely care home with dedicated carers, beautiful decor, a very welcoming coffee shop, excellent food and a brilliant program of activities on offer. Thank you everyone at Chandler Court!

Well Chandler Court, what a wonderful place you have and service you provide. Kind, caring, respectful and compassionate always. Nothing is ever to much trouble. Dad loved the café, especially Alex's cakes. The activities team arranged some great things. He loved the birds of prey and varied animal visits. With your help, we even got him to Bromsgrove panto last Christmas. But, most importantly, the care he received, it was just fabulous, liason with the homes GP was great too. You are a fabulous group of people and I will never be able to thank you enough. Finally thank you for the support shown to me in Dads final few days. You will always be remembered.

When I recently visited as soon as I went in, I was greeted by the receptionist who was very helpful and friendly. I waited for my friend to arrive in the coffee shop where I noticed other residents engaging with eachother and fun activities. The staff were all lovely and I was made to feel very welcome. What a lovely friendly atmosphere.

I find the staff (including management) all to be extremely friendly, whilst at the same time professional in their approach. The activities are excellent, varied and fun to participate in. The building is kept in an excellent, clean manner. The food is also of a very high standard, however on occasion the main meals can lack variety ie Chinese/curry at the same time with no choice on meat and two veg. However sandwiches are available on request at any time which helps.

When my wife and I saw her last week, she looked better than at any time in the past 3 years. She was her old self. This is all down to the care that she receives at Chandler Court.

She's had a new lease of life. Changing from a lonely existence where her main contact was the TV, to being in a bright building full of life.

Having had the shock of my mother in law having a stroke in Jan 25, we as a family have had a fairly torrid 6 months. Having completed the hospital merry go round and reaching the end of her treatment cycle, we then had to make tough decisions re her future care. We visited 6 homes before selecting Chandler Court, and to be honest it was the stand out candidate. The customer relations manager was very clear about the home's ethos and benefits during our guided tour and made the whole process pretty seamless from a selection perspective. Now being realistic, no movement of a loved one into care is easy and there is a bedding in period, but I have to say this has also gone a lot better than we ever thought it might and she is now settled and happy in her new surroundings. Any issues we had or have are quickly sorted (as I said it's a bedding in process from both sides) and we feel more than comfortable raising issues if and when they come along. Great room, caring staff and well managed.

This week they made him the most beautiful cake and trays of sandwiches for his family and friends celebrating his birthday. Far exceeding the call of duty and we appreciate it so much.
Thanks to everyone.

I need round the clock care and attention. So that my full time carer/wife can have a break we decided I needed to go to a care home for 2 weeks respite. From the time we first enquired, through assessment, to arriving and my stay the staff we came across were all kind and caring. Nothing was too much trouble. And the medication I require at specific times during the day was always ready'
I will be quite happy to recommend this care home.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us this feedback.

My mother stayed at Chandler Court for 18 days on a respite stay. All the staff we came into contact with were kind, polite and helpful. The room was very spacious, clean and had everything she needed. The activities put on each day were varied and enjoyed by all the residents. It was lovely to have the coffee shop there with an array of drinks and cakes, available to residents and visitors free of charge. She said that all the food was delicious with a good choice of starters, main courses and deserts throughout the week. Although she experienced a fall on her last day, the staff were fantastic in coming to her aid and keeping her calm until the ambulance came. Fortunately the injury was not as bad as it looked and she was back home later that day.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us this feedback.

Please feel free to call in with Mum for a visit to Chandler Court at any time.
A friendly, and understanding, initial conversation about needs and processes. The room allocated was clean and well lit ( my wife has partial sight and is living with dementia). My wife was in respite care for 18days whilst I was on holiday. Reports from friends and family who visited were always complimentary (though one mentioned that they had to wait while my wife finished one of the activities in which she had become engrossed! ). The welcoming and helpful atmosphere ran throughout the home. All staff were helpful and respectful to the client and visitors.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us this feedback.

Meet the Team (1)

As the Home Manager, I’m passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for the people we care for.
I believe that great care is about going beyond what is expected to make a difference to residents’ lives.
I also think it’s important to take a caring approach to colleagues, supporting them to do their best work and to fulfil their potential in the workplace. It’s our people who make all the difference and help us to deliver superb care, so if they’re happy, our residents are too.
One of my favourite parts of the day is chatting to residents and listening to their life stories. There’s so much we can learn from the older generation.
I have an open-door policy, so if there’s anything you’d like to know about Chandler Court and the care we provide, please do get in touch.
