Overall Experience

I am a resident at Ravenna Lodge, I have been here for 5 years and all the staff have done since day one is support me to be independent, well since the new manager has come. She has pushed me to do my own medication, my own shopping, use public transport and now visit my sister a week at a time every month. The staff have just always been there for me and helped me manage my behaviours and mental health. I feel Ravenna was the best place for me and is just amazing.

Overall Experience
Ravenna Lodge is run by Choice Care. The building was new when my son moved in (February 2018). I had high expectations and was told that staff and son would have support from behaviour psychologist specialists and that my son's needs would come first. This was not the case, the needs of service and their polices came above my son's needs. Many staff unqualified, although some very caring, huge turnover in staff. Staff very overworked and expected to work long shifts.

I was very surprised when CQC awarded them good.

Overall Experience

I am a resident here at Ravenna Lodge and have been since it opened in 2018. The home is very nice, big and spacious, close to a supermarket, a couple of takeaways, a park, and it is not far from the town so it's definitely good for people that want to get out into the community.

The care, however, leaves a lot to be desired, with needs not being met, staff not being regular (they are constantly changing) and in my opinion a lack of professional conduct.
