My auntie loves Lauder Lodge and thoroughly enjoys her time there. You can see from their social media pages that all the residents are happy and engaged. I searched many care homes before choosing this one and I'm so glad I made the decision! Thanks everyone!

Mum has been a resident at Lauder Lodge for almost 2 years. In that time she has been treated with the utmost respect and care and mum would consider her carers as friends. The care home is maintained to a high standard with lovely adjoining gardens where activities are regularly arranged. mum is encouraged to keep mobile by taking part in keep fit sessions and to socialise with other residents in the various activities that take place. Staff exude an atmosphere of calmness and nothing is ever to much trouble.

I have seen a lot of care homes over the years assessing appropriate care for friends and feel this is the best i have seen. this entails on entering the home the atmosphere is pleasent, warm and nicely decorated which means a lot. on entering the scent in the home is pleasant. the receptionist have all been very helpful and making people relax and when show rounds are done they make you feel welcome. the cafe on the 2 flooor is always made available to friends ad family with great choice of food and drinks.

My friend has been a resident for many years now, the staff are so considerate towards his needs, who ch are many due to his condition, but they treat him with respect on a daily basis. He always knew he wanted to stay here and he loves everything about it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your friend’s experience. It means a great deal to hear that he feels respected, supported and happy in his home with us. Our team works hard to provide compassionate, person-centred care every day, so your feedback is greatly appreciated. We’re...
I cannot speak highly enough of this care home. From the very first visit to then bringing my grandma, it was clear that the staff genuinely care about the residents and go above and beyond to create a safe, welcoming, and homely environment. The team are not only highly professional but also incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. It's reassuring to see such genuine compassion in everything they do especially for my grandma. There are plenty of activities and social opportunities for everyone and my gran absolutely loves it. The communication is excellent, and nothing ever seems like too much trouble for the staff. Choosing a care home is never easy, but this place has been an absolute blessing for me, my family & definitely for my grandma Knowing our loved one is safe, comfortable.

The care my Mum receives is excellent and she has nothing but good to say about her experience there. She tells me she feels like she is living in a 5 star hotel rather than a care home.
On a personal level I feel confident and happy my mum is receiving the level of care she needs. I am contacted immediately if there are any concerns, or to ask my opinion on issues.

This evaluation is based on 1-2 hour daily visits and discussions with staff that are relevant to my husbands care and well being. All grades of staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Because of my husbands frailty and advanced dementia it is difficult to give a true evaluation to all options. Any problems that have arisen have been dealt with to my satisfaction.
We're grateful for your kind comments about our staff and pleased to know that any concerns raised have been addressed to...
I am impressed with the relatively low level of staff turn over over the past three years in an industry where staff retention is challenging. This consistency is to the benefit of residents who build up a relationship.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're really pleased that your mother has been well cared for and that you've felt supported throughout her time with us. Your feedback means a great deal to our team and is very much appreciated.
Please remember that my review covers my first five weeks at Launder Lodge and also my first five weeks in a care home. My experience is entirely positive. All staff whether carers, nursing, admin or cleaning etc, work wonderfully together with the aim of making life as good as possible for the residents and patients. They actively seek out opportunities to help and work as a well-drilled yet informed team. I have felt welcome and an integral part of Lauder Lodge since first arriving here. Thanks to all of you who have supported me in the early days.

My dad has been a resident at Lauder Lodge for a couple of months now and has settled in incredibly well, largely due to the consistently kind, thoughtful and very person-centred care provided by all the staff. He is loving trying out a range of activities and thoroughly enjoying the catering. The staff manage to be incredibly professional whilst also creating a welcoming, friendly and home-like atmosphere. We couldn't be happier with our experience so far!

I've been visiting Lauder Lodge with my therapy dog, Bonnie for the past year or so. We have visited other care homes before but this is by far the best.
When I visit I am able to observe staff interacting with residents and they are always so kind, supportive and professional, whether they are admin, nursing, care, activity organisers or domestic staff.
Physically the Home is bright, well maintained and very comfortable with a range of activities provided for everyone, geared to their capabilities.
There's always a warm welcome from staff and residents when Bonnie and I visit. If I need to go into a home when the time comes I'd be very happy for it to be Lauder Lodge.

Meet the Team (1)

I’m a qualified nurse and have worked in a children’s clinic as well as in older people’s care. Joining Lauder Lodge has been very exciting for me: commissioning a new home is a challenge, and the whole team has worked closely together to create a wonderful home from home.
I’ve enjoyed getting to know the team in the process, identifying their strengths and using them to everyone’s advantage. I’m enjoying watching the team grow while providing exceptional service and tailored care for every resident.
I’m infamous for my sweet tooth, so I particularly enjoy afternoon tea time, when I can spend time with the residents, sharing stories and memories over a cup of tea and, of course, freshly baked goodies!
Outside of work, shopping is a guilty pleasure of mine, followed by coffee dates with friends – usually just an excuse to get the biggest cake on display!
