My wife gets the best of care from a marvellous dedicated staff.

The staff are very helpful and lovely. Cannot fault it.

The facilities and staff have gradually enabled my mother-in-law to get over the trauma of her daughter's recent passing and having to move out of her own home. After finding it hard at first, she has been helped to adapt and accept having to now live in care and take advantage of all the benefits that are available. She will be ninety-five in a few months so she has really done well to integrate, which is mainly due to the package this care home has offered her with its high standard of service.

Lovely friendly care home. Everyone is very caring and compassionate. The home has a calmness about it which is perfect for my Mum. The staff are always very helpful and nothing is a problem for them. The laundry is so well run, literally washed and hung back in the wardrobe the same day! The activities really keep Mum entertained which is great and they’re seven days a week, twice daily! The food is lovely and if my mum wants something else that’s not on the menu it’s not a problem (within reason of course). If only all care homes were as good as this! Thanks Woodlands for being there for my Mum.

My Mother has recently come to Woodlands Lodge to live. To date we have been delighted with her care, it has surpassed our expectations. All the taff work together as a team and always put the interest of the resident first. We feel confident that Mum is safe. Mum enjoys the daily activities and looks forward to meal times. The care provided is of a high standard by a professional team of staff who take pride in their role.

My Mum's care at Woodlands Lodge has been consistently excellent - combining compassion, professionalism and kindness. All of the staff know her well and take a genuine interest in her well-being. As she approaches the end of her life, Woodlands Lodge staff have shown sensitivity and love to Mum.

My lovely auntie went into Woodlands Lodge for four weeks and stayed two and a half years because Covid came and she couldn't go back to her home. My auntie was treated like a queen, always given excellent care and she loved the activities. All staff were excellent, from management to the DIY man and kitchen staff. My aunt had a fall and was taken to hospital but when she was able to go back to the home, they were without a doubt excellent.

It was reassuring to know that Mum was well cared for. The staff went above and beyond to proved caring, stimulating and safe care for Mum during her stay. We are forever in your debt. Everyone was helpful, friendly and supportive to extended family as well as mum. The staff keep Mum well protected during Covid. Mum tried out many new activities and looked forward to pamper days and inclusive games and being introduced to new activities.Mum was always treated with dignity, respect and her independence encouraged. Nothing was too much trouble. Can't thank the staff enough for the first class and superb care provided.

Excellent cleaners and laundry, top-notch. The reception staff were excellent and informative. I would thoroughly recommend this very caring home.

My husband has only been a resident for six days but all the staff are friendly, helpful and well trained and getting to know him. The food is very good and help is given.

I found all the staff to be caring, courteous and very efficient at all times. The flexibility of visiting times was very welcoming which cheered my wife up very much. Thank you.

My mum recently moved into Woodlands Lodge in the advanced stages of dementia, all the staff have gone out of their way to ensure this went smoothly for Mum and ourselves. We feel confident that she is receiving quality care and have been impressed with all the staffs' sensitivity to her needs. We have been able to communicate easily whenever needed. I would definitely recommend Woodlands Lodge.

The staff are brilliant, they go out of their way to try and make the residents stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The rooms are kept clean and tidy and there is always someone on hand to make sure that almost every need is catered for. There is a multiple choice menu so there is always variety in the food and there are plenty of activities going on to keep residents busy. One of the most important aspects is the support that is given to the family, I am always kept informed about my mothers welfare and updated if there is ever a problem.

Mum feels safe and well looked after, she enjoys her meals and cups of tea brought to her.

Mum has settled in very well with the help of all the caring team. She enjoys the activities and the social contact she has with staff and other residents. All staff communicate effectively and are very warm and friendly. I feel reassured mum is being well cared for and her quality of life since being a resident at Woodlands Lodge has greatly improved.

My aunty was a resident from 2018 and since the new manager took on the managers role the home has been run exceptionally along with her team. The care of my aunty who had vascular dementia was amazing and she was loved and looked after by everyone. My aunty recently passed away in the home with love all around her and most importantly her dignity. I cannot thank the manager and all her staff enough and I will cherish the memories of my aunty's time at Woodlands Lodge.

All of Mum's wants and needs are taken into consideration. Mum was very happy during her time at Woodside Lodge as were the family.

My mum has been extremely happy and is now very settled since coming to Woodlands Lodge. She is actively joining in with the activities and has made some lovely friends. The staff look after mum with genuine love and care. I know she is happy and enjoying herself so that is a great peace of mind to know and that she is safe and well.
