We were delighted to be offered a ground floor garden facing room so soon after looking around Woodlands Lodge. Mum has settled in very well and all the staff without exception are kind and caring. As mum is nearly 102 we do not expect her to partake in many activities.

It is a pleasure to care for your aunt here at Woodlands Lodge, she is an adorable lady who has made friends with everyone and joins in all the activities that take place. She is always ready for a cuppa and a chat, and it is lovely to see her smiling face first thing in the morning when she is ready to take on the adventures of the day.

When her (private) carers arrived later that day, she told her how lovely Woodlands is. She is now a full-time resident, the family are so relieved she is now receiving 24/7 care. The staff are absolutely dedicated and we couldn't wish for better care.

Michelle joined Woodland Lodge in 2020 initially as a senior care worker before progressing to unit lead, and has recently taken the role of Deputy Manager and is looking forward to the challenge of her new role and supporting the Manager.
