It is very easy to be happy when we have such lovely residents, there is a very clear strong bond between residents and staff here always fun things going on and lots and lots of laughter, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Thank you for those lovely comments, we do like to extend the hand of friendship to everyone who walks through our doors, the kettle is always on and everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Right now most people are in the lounge watching a new musical film on a big screen, singing along, popcorn and choc ices flowing. Another fabulous afternoon at Woodlands Lodge.

I have always found the nursing staff and care workers at Woodlands to have a kind and compassionate approach to the residents. The standard of cleanliness is excellent with a pleasant atmosphere throughout.

I would like to thank you for these positive comments. It is a fine balance to ensure a care home presents as clean and homely, hopefully, we have managed this. Staff are employed not only for their experience but for their caring nature and it's lovely to see this has been noticed.

Mum settled quickly with the help and support of all the staff. Haven't seen her as happy as this in a long time. She's made some lovely friends and is always out and about visiting new places and having new adventures. She has a better social life than I do!

That is just some of the activities we have done this week and may I say what a talented group we have here at Woodlands, Picasso and Pavarotti watch out!

It is lovely to hear that your grandfather is very happy here at Woodlands Lodge, it is such a lovely atmosphere and we certainly have a good mix of ladies and gentleman who all get along very nicely, enjoying each others company on trips out and about, as well as joining in the fabulous activities that go on each day here. We are one big happy family.

I couldn't agree with you more, and I am very proud to say all our staff are passionate about caring for our lovely residents and it feels like one big happy family with lots of fun and laughter on a daily basis. Our residents have a lot of input into what activities take place both in and out of the home. Recently they have been to see Concorde at Manchester Airport, The flower show, The Airshow, Everton Football Club, Liverpool Museums and lots of fine dining. I don't know where they get the energy from but every day is another adventure and we are delighted to care for such wonderful residents.
The house is very comfortable and welcoming. Residents are always well dressed and well cared for whenever I visit. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. There are interesting activities on many days.

Michelle joined Woodland Lodge in 2020 initially as a senior care worker before progressing to unit lead, and has recently taken the role of Deputy Manager and is looking forward to the challenge of her new role and supporting the Manager.
In her spare time, Michelle loves spending time with her two children as well as her spaniel, Alfie, and loves walking him along Formby Beach.
