The care, love and attention my mother receives from the wonderful and dedicated staff is second to none. They go above and beyond! This care home sets the bar high, there is nowhere I would feel happier for my mother to be. Thank you Grosvenor Manor for looking after someone so precious to me. You are the Gold standard.
Thank you for such a kind review, Stephen. We are truly delighted that you and your mother feel so supported and welcomed to our home. It's a real honour to care for your mother, and we are so proud of our hardworking team for setting that bar so high. We will be sure to pass on your comments to the staff members. Thank you.
All the staff are very welcoming and caring. Thank you for looking after my mum. Grosvenor Manor is a nice place!
Thank you for taking the time to make a review. We will, as always feed back to the staff your kind words.
Everything is very clean and it all smells lovely and fresh.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are glad that your mum has settled in well and is happy here.
Grosvenor Manor has allowed my mum to have a full life whilst living with dementia. She has weekly trips to the on-site Hairdresser, at a proper salon. In addition she attends Sunday services, sings hymns, carols and pop songs. Has a bingo afternoon and does small garden projects such as planting up bulbs in a pot; as well as baking and trips out! In fact the list of things to do is endless. She can choose to take part or not and family are always welcome to join in the fun. All of this is while surrounded by amazing care, housekeeping, hospitality and administrative staff. Mum has in a couple of years built such good relationships with all of the staff that she sees them as her family and friends.
Thank you for your review. It is pleasing to see that your mum is engaging in all the activities that are on offer.
As well as providing excellent daily care Grosvenor Manor always ensures that significant moments are celebrated in an extra special way. My wife has dementia and for her 82nd birthday Grosvenor Manor arranged a room for my wife and her guests to have afternoon tea together. They baked a delicious birthday cake that was beautifully decorated. My wife invited four of her closest friends, as well as family to the event. I brought along a couple of bottles of champagne and we had a delightful afternoon tea. It was such a lovely day.
Thank you for your review. We are so pleased that you got to have a very special birthday celebration on your wife's birthday.
My deteriorating health meant my mother had to go into a care home. What a wonderful surprise! The lovely, caring atmosphere in Grosvenor Manor was evident from the minute I walked in (without a prior appointment). The care my mother receives has been second to none. She is well-cared for safe and warm, but most of all, she is happy and stimulated. I do not know what more the staff could do to look after the residents. They are warm and caring, and always treat residents with the utmost dignity and respect. They don't need to be asked to help, they watch all be. Nothing is too much trouble. The safety and security aspect could not be better. The facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean. All the rooms are given a homely feel with residents own treasures. The lady in charge is unbelievably caring. Her kindness and wisdom are second to none. She makes you feel as important as you relative. What more can I add? Grosvenor Manor should be a winner for all they do. Many thanks to you all who work there.
Thank you for doing a review. It is lovely to hear that your mum is settle but also that you feel as daughter we care for you also. It is just as important that families feel the supported during the transition of moving your loved one into our care. Thank you again for this review - it means so much to hear we do a great job.
Grosvenor Manor is exceptional in every way. Standards are high with excellent staff and facilities. Everyone goes out of their way to ensure needs are met with care and compassion. I cannot fault the attention to detail on the unfailing helpfulness of everyone I met. All in all, a very positive experience and one that I cannot imagine being beaten in any way.
Thank you for your review and taking the time to write this. We wish you all the best and you know where we are if you need care in the future
Absolutely lovely staff, very clean, very caring and the staff are very kind and patient they go to great lengths to make sure individual need are catered for. My friend has settled extremely well (much better than anticipated) she loves it.
Thank you for taking the time to review and for your lovely words
Grosvenor Manor cared for my husband with exceptional kindness, dignity, and professionalism during his final days. The team not only provided outstanding nursing care and dignified pain management but also created a warm and supportive environment for me and my daughter to be with him until the end. The carers were compassionate, organised, and always available, making sure we felt comfortable and well looked after. They provided meals and thoughtful touches that made a very difficult time much more bearable. We will always be grateful for the respect and tenderness shown to my husband and to us as a family. Couldn't recommend Grosvenor Manor more.
It was an absolute pleasure to be able to care for not only your Dad but for you and your daughter. Thank you for your kind and sincere words. We are all sending our best to you.
I am always very happy to see the care and support that staff provide for my mum. Well being team are also committed to provide quality activities and listen to residents views. Maintaining consistent staffing means that my mum builds good relationships with them and despite her dementia, she knows and trusts all her carers. Highly recommend Grosvenor Manor to all.
Many thanks for your kind review. We do always try to build great relationships with residents and their families. We are happy that you are happy. Thanks again.
Grosvenor Manor is absolutely wonderful. My husband is a resident and on 1st of July that was my 80th birthday, they made it so special for me as my husband can't do it anymore. They went over and beyond with flowers & chocolates and a balloon & they sang Happy Birthday. It is a day I will never forget & my husband has the best care ever. My husband even sang it with the flowers & chocolates. Wonderful.
We are all so happy you had a lovely birthday sharing it with your husband and the Grosvenor family.
Everybody, from the manager, the reception staff, and all the carers and nurses, have made us both feel so welcome since my friend arrived a few weeks ago. The staff are friendly, caring and kind and treat my friend with dignity and respect, and are always listening to her wishes and responding to her needs. The staff really are exceptional and go out of their way to make sure everything is how my friend likes it, even her cup of tea! A beautiful home and surroundings, but it's the staff who make this home a real home.
Thank you for your review. It is lovely to hear your kind words regarding the staff. We are hear to make a difference.
My mum was so anxious at the thought of a care home for respite while I recovered from an operation but as soon as we walked through the doors I could see her totally relax. The staff worked wonders and settled her in so quickly. She loves the food and the activities. The staff respond so quickly whenever she needs any help. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your kind review. We do strive to make the the transition into care welcoming, so I am glad that your mum settled in well. Hopefully we will see her for her next respite stay.
I've got nothing but high praise for the fantastic staff at Grosvenor Manor. They made the last few months of my dad's life so much more bearable than they could have been. They were kind, thoughtful, diligent and highly professional. With the condition my dad was in, he needed a lot of looking after, and it can't have been easy work - but the staff did everything that needed to be done with great care, patience and humour, and he really appreciated their efforts. The home makes for a very pleasant environment: spacious, well furnished, welcoming and peaceful. I can't recommend it highly enough.
The staff are courteous, efficient and respectful throughout. Any concerns, large or small are always dealt with promptly and efficiently. Relatives are always greeted on arrival and departure and security is very good. My mother has been a resident for over five years and considers Grosvenor Manor as her home. There is always something going on and the staff are caring and supportive and always taking the time for a little chat with residents. A very homely place, hard to fault it.
Thank you for the excellent review. Staff will always try to be the best they can. I will pass on your kind words to the staff.
I have been very impressed with the service provided by Grosvenor Manor. All the staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The home is lovely and clean and always staff around to answer any questions. There are also plenty of activities on a daily basis to engage people if they wish to take part. I feel lucky that we were able to get a respite bed and did not hesitate to take up the offer immediately. I would hope to be able to make this place a permanent home for my husband.
Thank you for your review. I am really glad that you found the staff accommodating and friendly. We do pride ourselves with the activities we have on offer. Thank you again.
Families are also well supported and believe me I have needed that support over the last twelve months.
Very, very well done Grosvenor Manor.
What a lovely, lovely review. You have mentioned everyone and everything we pride ourselves in doing here at Grosvenor Manor. Thank you so much for your kind words which I will share with the team.
A wonderful experience from the moment we arrived just to look around. Mum loved it and knew instantly that this was the right place for her. The staff were extremely professional, welcoming and helpful and made you feel very relaxed. Mum decided to stay and signed up for 2 weeks of respite with a view to being a permanent resident. What a greeting she received when we arrived to check-in. Everything so far has been wonderful, with all the staff, food and 24-hour care they provide.
Thank you for your lovely review. Our aim is always to make everyone feel welcome, including families and visitors. We are glad that your mum has settled in well and enjoying the experience we offer at Grosvenor Manor.
Mum was admitted for 2 weeks of respite yesterday. The staff were amazing putting Mum at ease and explaining the process. It's a lovely care centre with all staff very welcoming and after Mum's first night, she is very happy with care. So much so she will probably like to stay here permanently. A big thank you to all the staff.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are happy that your mum is very happy with her stay so far. I will let the staff know about this lovely review.
Always given a warm welcome by the staff who cannot do enough to make my visit an enjoyable experience.
Thank you for your review. It is very pleasing to hear that we look after our visitors and make you feel welcome.

I’ve worked as a nurse for over 40 years in a variety of roles. I thoroughly enjoy working in care homes. As a nurse, you can build relationships with the people you’re caring for and their families in a way that’s just not possible in a hospital setting where people come and go. I love the fact that we’re making a big difference to people’s lives, and we get to see the evidence of that. It’s a privilege to be working for an excellent provider in Grosvenor Manor Care Centre, Lovett Care. I’m passionate about delivering high-quality care to each resident and supporting the staff in their careers within the healthcare sector.

I am responsible and accountable for the management of the clinical area in the home. Establishing the timely provision of care by ensuring that effective supervision, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care is done to a high standard. Ensure that the home’s policies and procedures are followed, in accordance with relevant legislation, to meet residents’ needs in a person-centred way. Assisting the Home Manager with day-to-day management of the home, ensuring New Care’s now Lovett Care continues compliance with relevant legislation. I have always had a passion for delivering high standards of care. For my new role, the main aspirations are centred around skill enhancement and constant growth to deliver the very best person-centred care. I am ready for new challenges and would like to improve my management skills in order to achieve my full potential. In the future, I see myself taking on more challenges at a higher level of leadership. Evolve my skills in a challenging environment, work within a team, and provide efficient solutions.

I have 35 years of experience working in care. My background is in nursing care, working in Hospitals and also Nursing homes. I worked as a Clinical Support worker for the NHS, and following this, I managed a Complex care unit where I also trained and taught staff how to care for tracheostomy and ventilator care with spinal injuries and acute brain injuries. I have worked for New Care at Grosvenor Manor since 2020, and I can honestly say this is where I have learnt and seen patient-centred care that is given to the highest standards. I am excited to now be able to join the management team at Grosvenor Manor as Head of Care to support our Home Manager, our excellent wellbeing team and our dedicated teams of care staff and Team Leaders. I am proud to be the Head of Care at Grosvenor Manor and to now be part of the management structure of such an amazing team. I am a caring and compassionate, hardworking person and totally dedicated to providing excellent care to all residents.

I’m Lisa Forth. I Joined our Grosvenor Family in April 2018. I facilitate our Wellbeing Programme to ensure our Residents have a Person Centred, fulfilling & fun time at Grosvenor Manor. I’m married to Stephen, who is an amazing support to me; we have four beautiful granddaughters, whom we adore. I feel Grosvenor Manor is my extended family, and family is very important to me.
