We attended a 100th Birthday celebration for our Grandmother and were incredibly pleased to see such caring staff looking after her, as well as the quality of facilities.

The staff went out of their way to make sure our Grandmother had a lovely day.

My husband had advanced dementia and prostate cancer. He came to Grosvenor Manor Care Center in August 2019, and the care he received was outstanding. I could not fault the Grosvenor Manor team.
My husband had been in a previous care home where I was far from satisfied. The contrast between the two was amazing, I am so glad he came here.
The staff were always polite, respected his and the families dignity, very caring, nothing is too much trouble, and always with a smile.
My husband died here, we the family were looked after by the staff as well as him. He looked clean, tidy, fresh and well cared for throughout this difficult period; they could not have done more. The staff were reassuring to him and us. I never feared that the staff might forget his needs; all were happy. I could not recommend the home highly - wish there were more like this.

He died in peaceful surroundings.

Came here to see Grandma and the staff had set up surprise afternoon tea for Mum's birthday. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly and all the residents seem happy and want to talk. My Grandma is so much happier here than she was in her last home and the conditions are impeccable.

The striking feature of Grosvenor Manor, apart from the exceptional facilities and setting, is the manifest individual care the staff provide to each resident, bespoke to their personalities and interests. The activities offered are stimulating and varied, as is the entertainment. There is good evidence that changes are made to reflect requests and observations of the residents. This is a happy and considerate place to live.

I have been visiting an ex-neighbour of mine who moved into Grosvenor Manor around June 2019. On every occasion the staff have impressed me with their genuinely outstanding care and consideration for their residents. They manage to combine thorough professionalism with obvious, deep affection for their residents, and offer unconditional patience, gentleness, understanding and commitment to those in their care. I am glad my friend is in such good hands.

I cannot praise Grosvenor Manor enough. The building, gardens and rooms are of excellent quality, clean, comfortable and attractive. The staff are wonderful. They are caring, warm and friendly, whilst being very attentive to the needs of each resident, taking time to get to know their interests and preferences. My husband settled in immediately and is joining in with the many and varied activities in a way I could not have imagined. The atmosphere is happy and visitors warmly welcomed and included.

From the moment I set foot inside Grosvenor Manor, I was made to feel extremely welcome. From the little touches like being offered a drink, to the numerous greetings from staff, to the constant supply of sweet treats, it felt like being in a 5-star hotel. My partner and I found Grosvenor Manor for his dad. He is so well looked after and we can go home and not worry because the standards of care are outstanding. Every member of staff does an exceptional job.

All staff are very friendly and caring. They made my father feel very welcome and they all knew his name. He has nothing but praise for them. The care home is spotless, beautifully decorated and is a pleasure to visit. My father loves the food and the comfortable bed. He has improved so much in a short time.

Both of my parents have been cared for at Grosvenor Manor since it opened in April 2018. My father spent 6 wonderful months there and my mother almost a year. During that time we have been truly overwhelmed by the wonderful, caring, kind and supportive staff. We feel so blessed to have had them care for our parents and in our difficult times, they have shown our family such support that words can’t express our thanks to them. We feel as though each and every one of the staff has become part of our family. Whilst the decor, rooms, gardens, food and cleanliness are all outstanding, their greatest asset is the warmth shown by all the staff from the moment you walk in. Whilst sadly our parents are no longer with us, we still intend to remain in contact and pop in for a coffee and join in whatever activities we can do! Thank you for everything you did for my mum and dad. We have such special memories of the last year. What an amazing place with truly the most wonderful staff.

Grosvenor Manor is amazing. The decor and facilities are like a high standard hotel but much more importantly the individual care given to each resident is fantastic. Staff continually strive to keep residents happy by responding to their different interests. There are many and varied activities and the food is also of a high standard.

My wife is unable to live on her own and has been admitted to Grosvenor Manor to allow me to recover from a minor procedure.
From the initial enquiry and assessment to admission, the management and staff have been professional, courteous and caring.
I feared that my wife would be distressed but my fears were unfounded. The friendliness of the staff and the caring approach soon allowed my wife to settle into the routine of life at Grosvenor Manor to the extent that she can rarely be found in her room. I must add that, normally a faddy eater, my wife has found the meals very tasty and the portions manageable.

On a personal note, it is very comforting to me to know that if I was to pass away before my wife that she would quickly settle into Grosvenor Manor on a permanent basis.

I’ve worked as a nurse for over 40 years in a variety of roles. I thoroughly enjoy working in care homes. As a nurse, you can build relationships with the people you’re caring for and their families in a way that’s just not possible in a hospital setting where people come and go. I love the fact that we’re making a big difference to people’s lives, and we get to see the evidence of that. It’s a privilege to be working for an excellent provider in Grosvenor Manor Care Centre, Lovett Care. I’m passionate about delivering high-quality care to each resident and supporting the staff in their careers within the healthcare sector.
