When we as a family went to look around Windsor Court we immediately knew this was the place for our mum. The care, compassion, reassurance and empathy shown to our mum and us by all staff has been amazing through this process and have helped us as a family come to terms with having to find a care home for our mum. Our mum has settled in so well and has joined in some of the numerous activities that are held every week, she particularly likes the singing and music sessions when different people come in to entertain the residents. The rooms are en-suite and lovely facing out into the garden.

Sadly, my father was only in Windsor Court for three weeks before suddenly having a large bleed, which led to the hospital, Covid, and sadly passing away. I visited him most days, and the standard of care he received was excellent. The staff were extremely pleasant, friendly and in tune with the residents. Their attention to detail was wonderful. Dad would not have to me about this bleed, it was spotted by the staff as they changed his stoma. They acted quickly and gave him the best chance. The place was squeaky clean, the decor pleasant, the food good, and the activities well planned.

Windsor Court is a home away from home. The staff are always warm, friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic and supportive when struggling with Mum's decline and give the best hugs. Mum is very happy here and feels safe. If we need anything the carers or managers are more than happy to help. The activities are great, varied and fun for Mum and us. The team do a fantastic job with seasonal/theme decorations and also come in on their own time a lot!

My mum has been living at Windsor Court since August 2019 - initially for respite but she then decided to stay and have ‘no worries’ as she was struggling to live on her own. She is happy, well cared for and safe, treated with respect and living in a happy environment with all her needs being met, which is her family’s main priority. Mum has Parkinson’s and other health issues but is aware and appreciative of what’s going and she/we have no complaints. Communication with me, as the main contact, is excellent.

A big ‘Thank You’ to all involved for your hard work, kindness, support and care.

My mother became a permanent resident at very short notice and the staff could not have done more to make her feel settled. It must have been very daunting for her to move in knowing she would never go home again but all the staff have been wonderful and could not have done more. Every day the staff work very hard to make sure she has all she needs (or wants) and nothing seems too much trouble.

From me walking in off the street and being shown around with no notice, to mum's arrival, I have not had any concerns or worries. I feel so relaxed knowing that there are attentive staff on call to make sure mum is happy and secure.

This is a well-run care home with excellent facilities for its residents. The staff are well trained and in my experience are committed to ensuring the comfort and well being of the home's residents. They obviously care for my mum and are always concerned to ensure that she is treated with kindness and respect. I have confidence that the staff will keep a close eye on her and feel that she is in a safe and caring environment.

My mother has been resident at Windsor Court for over two years now and while it was a difficult decision for her to sell her home and move to Windsor Court, since moving in she has been very well looked after by the care staff and whenever there are issues, the home contact me to discuss a solution.
My mother now has company whenever she wants it and can take part in any of the organised activities that she chooses.

She is now in a safe and secure environment which is a comfort for the rest of her family.

My experience of my step-mum's stay at Windsor Court doesn't really just apply to July of this year but for all of the time she has been part of the WC family. It is a truly exceptional and inspirational place and everyone involved is given the best of care on every level possible.

When I call to see my friend, the staff are very welcoming and always happy. I am a self-employed cleaner and whenever I go I am always looking to see how clean that place is. Every time I call to see my friend it is always clean, all the rooms I go into and even the cups. When I have a drink I look at them as well. The food is lovely and the cakes are beautiful and very tasty. I have been calling into the home since it opened and it's as clean now as it was when it opened. There is only one thing I can complain about, I have put lbs on every time I call due to the cakes.

I am a completely new resident and I have already had several reasons to be grateful for our front-of-house, much experience and willingness to help.
The range of questions that she has to deal with is enormous and wide-ranging, and I have never seen her less than confident and caring. In fact, a staff member everyone values.

I am enjoying my time at Windsor Court.

Amazing! The staff are attentive, kind, and caring. Windsor Court is spotless, and modern, with fantastic activities for residents from nails and natter to pumpkin carving and caring. My mum has had a really enjoyable two-week stay. Would highly recommend for respite or permanent care. Would not hesitate to use Windsor Court gain. 5-star review.

1. Overall okay - the evening meantime should be 5:30 as the current times re too close to lunch.

2. Night staff are a problem too often. Both in manner and expertise. It is obvious that there is a problem and it needs to be addressed quickly.

Windsor Court is like a family home rather than a hotel. As one of the youngest residents (75), I have had to adjust my perception of living with much older residents and help them, often feeding them, helping staff, washing up, and tidying the lounges. If I do not wish to join in the activities I am perfectly happy to stay in my lovely ground floor room, listening to the radio, reading (big library here), doing puzzles. I also enjoy playing the electronic keyboard. The freedom to go out, have friends in, and going out in an evening (many people think we are curfewed!) I spent my golden ticket on a Microlight Flight! My CofE faith is comforting.
