I have been talking to Ann (client service manager) for the last couple of years preparing for my step fathers needs regarding full time care. Ann has been unwavering in her communication and help with the timings. When my stepfather was admitted to hospital following a fall the time was right and Ann did everything she could to get him admitted into Falkland care. The whole team here have been exceptional for their care patience, time particularly with the extra nursing care he needed
Thank you for taking the time to leave a kind review of Falkland Grange. We are pleased to hear that Ann was able to help your family during a challenging time like this. It is an honour to care for your stepdad, and we will be sure to pass on your kind words to our team.
My father has stayed in Falkland Grange for recovery after a broken shoulder, and the care he has received has been faultless. He has been so well looked after and made to feel at home. The staff have been so kind and compassionate, we would highly recommend Falkland Grange for your loved ones.
Thank you for your fantastic feedback. It was a pleasure and an honour to assist in your father's recovery. Please do visit us again soon for coffee and a catch up.
My husband, Jeffrey, spent two weeks at this lovely care home having respite care. He settled in straight away and seemed very happy. The staff have been attentive and caring. We will definitely want him to return in the future.
Thank you for your review. It is fantastic to hear your husband settled in well during his time with us.
Having brought my father to Newbury from Cheltenham, the staff and residents of Falkland Grange have made him and myself so welcome. Dad now feels completely at home and settled, and I am so relieved that he is cared for and safe. The staff and care is wonderful, the home is beautifully maintained, clean, warm, tidy and friendly.
Thank you for taking a moment to leave us such positive feedback. It is fantastic to hear your dad feels at home at Falkland Grange.
My mother enjoyed her month at Falkland Grange, which gave us peace of mind whilst we were in Chile. She enjoyed talking to people of her own age, playing Scrabble, poetry, and the food was delicious.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We are so pleased that your mother enjoyed her stay and that we were able to provide you peace of mind.
Father has been here for two months, having moved out of his home of fifty years. After settling into a nice room with a view of the garden, he has enjoyed the experience. The staff are excellent and competent. The food and activities are good, and the common areas good.
Thank you for taking a moment to leave us a review. It is great to hear your father has settled into life at Falkland Grange.
Recently Dad's dementia has progressed and his health has declined but I know that he is being cared for with love and kindness and I have witnessed care that goes beyond a job description. The way that staff have responded to his changing needs has been faultless. Nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you for your heart-warming feedback. It is a pleasure and an honour to have your dad with us, and seeing him flourish at Falkland Grange has been incredibly rewarding.
I required respite for my partner at very short notice and when I spoke to the manager at Falkland Grange I was impressed by the way she dealt with my request and my partner was in the home the following day. The staff at FG are all helpful and professional and most of all caring. Full marks to Daniela and her team.
We know how difficult it can be both emotionally and logistically to find care at such short notice, so I am glad we were able to support you and your partner at this time.
Dad has now been in residence for 6 weeks, and all is going well.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a kind review of Falkland Grange. It is our honour to care for your Dad and we are glad to hear that you felt supported every step of the way with us.
My mum was discharged to Falkland Grange after spending seven weeks in hospital after a fall that required a femur mend and hip replacement. After the first week, my mum had made friends and said how good the carers were. She looked great and was very happy. Since then, Mum has grown in confidence, she has put on weight, chats with the other residents and participates in activities and outings. She says everyone is very kind. Knowing that Mum is eating well, getting her medication at the right time and benefitting from 24 hour support has been a huge relief to me.
Thank you for your heart-warming feedback. It fills me with pride to hear your mum has improved throughout her time at Falkland Grange.
This is a wonderful care home with excellent facilities and resources, a lively and thoughtful activities programme, wonderful food, and outstanding care by sympathetic and empathetic staff. Families are very much encouraged to join in and visit often (I visit every day). My father only came for 2 weeks' respite care whilst I had an operation, and then he wanted to stay. He has made new friends and tried new activities here, too. Thank you to everyone at Falkland Grange.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I am delighted to hear that your father is happy with us here at Falkland Grange and I look forward to sharing your comments with the team.
We were needing to find a placement for our mother at short notice following a hospital admission. Falkland Grange were very responsive and sensitive, and kind in assessing and offering a place very quickly. We could not be more impressed by the care of all the staff who treat the whole family with kindness and my mum and dad with dignity too. The facilities and activities are excellent too.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a kind review of Falkland Grange. We are so pleased to hear that we could assist your family on such short notice. It is an honour caring for your mother.
From the moment I called to enquire the staff at Falkland Grange have been outstanding. My initial 'look around' was ad-hoc but set the positive tone. The home is bright and airy, spacious and there are plenty of modern facilities. I'm constantly surprised by the friendliness of all the staff and the time they have to spend with residents - there is a calmness and positivity throughout which is refreshing. The entrance and 'Bistro' has a hotel feel and is welcoming - the rooms, shared areas and kitchens clean and, I have to say, the food score from an incredibly picky resident very high! There's always something happening and those involved in the activities are genuinely passionate about engagement. Transitioning from independent living to care has been a bumpy ride, I can't lie, but we've had strong and active support from the team who understand the challenges and have offered sound advice.
Thank you for taking a moment to leave us such a well-rounded review! I am glad to hear you and your loved one are happy with our home and team.
I will be having a weeks holiday shortly and I feel comfortable that my husband will be well looked after and he will be happy.

Since moving in last October I generally feel much better in myself and am enjoying the activities/social life. I am receiving the appropriate level of care and know that if I need help someone is always available.
It is great to hear you are happy living at Falkland Grange and that you feel well cared for. It is a pleasure having you with us!
Since my mother moved into the dementia unit I have experienced thoughtful back up and support from the staff. My mother is well cared for, and the staff have shown her great kindness and care. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable.
I am glad to hear you feel supported by our team and are happy with your mother's care.
Falkland Grange provided mum with exceptional care. All her needs were met with kindness and compassion. Her room was lovely and could be personalised with her favourite things. The nursing team were proactive and kept us well informed, and the carers were exceptional. Couldn't fault it. Thank you to everyone
It was a pleasure to care for your lovely mum, and it is great to hear you were happy with all aspects of her time with us.
The staff at Falkland Grange are always around when needed. The care my mother has received since she has arrived has been excellent, and it has made a huge difference to her quality of life. Her overall health has improved since arriving at Falkland Grange, which is a testament to the care she is receiving on a day-to-day basis.
Thank you for taking a moment to leave us a review. It fills me with pride to hear that you feel your mother's quality of life has improved since joining us.
The staff are all friendly and approachable, and barring a bit of lack in communication when mum first moved in, all have been good.
Thank you for your feedback. It is great to hear we were able to work through your initial concern and that you are happy with our team.
The activities are good. Staff are friendly. Care seems appropriate.
Thank you for taking a moment to leave us your feedback.
