I continue to be impressed and very grateful for the care and concern shown by the care staff, administrative and support staff, to my mother. This has undoubtedly help her settle in smoothly. They are attentive listeners and respond in a timely and sensitive manner to resident and relative queriees and suggestions. The activities team, on site hairdresser, reception cafe constantly supplied with fresh and delightful food from the award winning chef and kitchen staff set high standards. They also.are important elements that encourage engagement with wider families and community groups e.g Dementia groups. The regular weekly visits from the GP provides crucial continuity of care which is so important to Mum. Thank you and keep up the great work.

The layout & decor is very user friendly, with several lounge areas and dining rooms.
The garden is attractive, flat and offers many different seating areas.
The events organisers are brilliant. There's a monthly activity menu, including opportunities to get involved as little or as uch as the resident desires, both in the home and on day trips.
There is a cinema room, a bar (although rarely set up for use), & a hairdressers on site. Also there are 2 chiropodists that visit regularly.
The food menus look good & there are refreshments including cakes on offer in the Windmill cafe daily, for residents and visitors.
I can completely relax knowing that dad is being very well looked after.

I chose Montfort Manor having looked at a lot of local homes. As I arrived I was met by one of the residents sitting in reception enjoying a sherry mid afternoon. She still does this but with tea. The home has a friendly cafe with free cakes, savories to take your relatives and friends to. The care is thoughtful, low changeover of staff who know their residents, they give my husband dignity. The rooms are cleaned and tided everyday there are very imaginative activities even for my husband who has dementia and the food for residents, always has a choice in every course. Good value for money.

Given that trying up find a suitable care home place at short notice is very difficult my wife and I found Niki very welcoming and helpful in starting the process.
Once Dad moved in, all of the staff from reception and administration staff to the clinical staff have been so helpful and put dad at ease and made him feel welcome.
It's taking a bit of time for Dad to get accustomed to his new setting but the staff have made that process a lot easier.
The home itself is so well looked after, it is always clean and tidy and also smells nice.
I can't thank all of the team highly enough.

I joined Care UK in 2022 having known the company to have a very good reputation for providing high-quality care and putting residents and their needs first. Care UK to me is about quality both for residents and families as well as colleagues.
I have been working as a Home Manager in care homes for the past 8 years, a role which requires good communication skills, compassion, and empathy, whilst being able to multitask.
I was a finalist in the Care Home Manager Awards in 2020. Although I didn’t win, it was an honour to have been nominated and picked to be a finalist.
My favourite part of each day is walking around the home, making sure residents are happy and safe. There is always someone to have a chat with.
There is nothing that I enjoy more than working in a good team for the best interests of the residents, helping them to be happy and enjoy their twilight years.
