The purpose-built care home has been designed with residents' health and wellbeing in mind and is made up of smaller suites to offer a close-knit and homely environment - this is especially beneficial for those living with dementia.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Have visited my friend a few times. No matter when I visit, it is always warm and bright. The staff are excellent and my friend looks really well cared for.

Visiting Ashford from our home in Somerset, we once again found Montfort Manor
to be more of a five star hotel it was so beautifully kept. All staff we met were friendly, polite and professional. We needed information for another relative currently in hospital and were given so much guidance and help
by the Customer Relations Manager, which we very much appreciated. Our Aunt is receiving excellent care in a lovely environment. Congratulations to all staff. As merely a visitor I am not privy to information on activities or costs and therefore had to put no rating. this is not a negative comment on either.

Friendly staff, very attentive. Highly recommend. Since my relative has moved in from another home she has felt alot calmer and been in a much better place.
They host a lot of activities for both residents and family. Had a real community feel.

The staff are very friendly and take great care of my relative. They have a great variety of daily events to get all residents involved. The place is always clean and well-maintained.
Since moving in my relative has been a lot more at ease and said they feel very at home.

Montford Manor has been a wonderful experience from the very beginning of this journey of Mum needing care. From the settling in to the fantastic activities and delicious food, everything has been excellent. There is such a positive, can do ethos at this home and I would not want Mum anywhere else.

Over the past nine months the quality and continuity of care staff at Montfort Manor was excellent. Prior to this, there seemed to be an over reliance on agency staff, with a consequent diminution in the quality of care. Overall, with its spacious rooms for residents, cleanliness, good food and abundant
activities, I have no difficulty in highly recommending Montfort Manor.

Mom moved to Montfort Manor for end of life care and had nothing but loving, highly professional care. Every member of staff was wonderful. The ward cleaner was so caring and supportive, the care staff gentle and respectful, the nursing staff totally amazing. The team made a very difficult time so much
easier. The only difficulty was not anything due to the ward staff, but communication with the hospice outreach team wasn't great. The ward staff and the family had to work hard to make that aspect okay.
While my sister and I had all this going on, all the Montfort Manor staff (reception, management, ward staff) cared for us too. They were supportive and gentle and we can't thank them enough.

My mum stayed at Montfort Manor for six weeks from February to March 2023. The staff are fantastic. Mum was well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Just wished she could have stayed but finance was an issue for us.

I have been a resident here since January 2023, this followed a three week stay in the hospital. I had a serious fall at home on December 13th 2022, whereby I fractured my skull and two vertebrae, necessitating wearing a neck collar. The care and understanding I have received here has been exceptional.
Nothing is too much trouble and if there is a problem it is dealt with professionally and immediately. This week my consultant has discharged me, saying I have made an amazing recovery. This I attribute to the respite time I have enjoyed, which has allowed me to come to terms with a physical and traumatic, emotional experience. I cannot praise the staff enough. They obviously enjoy their work, operating as a team and exhibiting much dedication.

The customer relations manager, who is your first point of contact, was/is excellent. The lifestyle team are amazing - always something fun going on. The nursing staff are caring. Care assistants, domestic staff and hairdresser were supportive and attentive. The reception team are amazing, supportive
and on the ball. I recommend this home to everyone I come into contact with.

I always feel I can approach the staff and management if I have any concerns. On the downside. Occasionally, it can take several attempts to get through on the phone or to locate a member of staff if I have an enquiry, but at the same time, I understand the issues at present of recruiting into the care
industry and the extreme pressure this places on staffing levels. Monfort Manor is always clean, tidy and welcoming.

First visit, lovely experience, caring, considerate and brilliant interaction with clients, especially dementia. Played volleyball in the communal room, fun, interactive, fitness and signing, made us laugh and cry with emotion. Wish we could afford this for my 90-year-old mother who is totally dependent
on three times a day carers coming to her home.

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2022

I joined Care UK in 2022 having known the company to have a very good reputation for providing high-quality care and putting residents and their needs first. Care UK to me is about quality both for residents and families as well as colleagues.


I have been working as a Home Manager in care homes for the past 8 years, a role which requires good communication skills, compassion, and empathy, whilst being able to multitask.


I was a finalist in the Care Home Manager Awards in 2020. Although I didn’t win, it was an honour to have been nominated and picked to be a finalist.


My favourite part of each day is walking around the home, making sure residents are happy and safe. There is always someone to have a chat with.


There is nothing that I enjoy more than working in a good team for the best interests of the residents, helping them to be happy and enjoy their twilight years.
