We are so glad we chose Avon Valley. We could highly recommend it! Having looked at a few care homes for my father, I know this place was perfect! The moment you walk through the door, you are welcomed by smiles and the most caring, kind and helpful staff. My father-in-law is very shy, but the staff have encouraged him to join in activities, and he is really happy. The rooms are lovely, and the food is great.

Staff very attentive to Mum's needs.

The place is just like a hotel. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I have no regrets about bringing my mum here. They have been really lovely to my mum.

My parents have been here for almost two years now, and it's amazing. All of the staff are friendly, caring and compassionate. They all go the extra mile for everyone in their care. I am so very grateful knowing that my parents are in a warm and caring environment. They do lots of activities to keep them stimulated, and it's a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend Avon Valley.

My mum was very apprehensive about coming to Avon Valley as we were. She has been so happy and the care she receives is excellent. I can't say a bad thing about any staff. They are all amazing and care for my mum as if she were their own. Thank you will never be enough. This home is fantastic and mum couldn't be in a better place.

Mum moved in a year ago, just before the first lockdown. I am so pleased we chose Avon Valley; can't fault it in any way. The staff are amazing and always helpful in everything they do. I feel Mum's care has been wonderful, and she is very happy and well looked after in these very hard times.

All staff have been exceptional. My Dad moved into the home on New Year's Eve and sadly caught coronavirus two weeks later. The staff were fantastic with his care, keeping me informed and looking after him as if he was their own relative. My Dad is well now and always tells me he is being well looked after. His keyworker even went to the shops to buy him chocolate.

Always helpful, clean and bright. This is where I would like to come if ever I should need care. 5-star.

Very helpful for everything my dad needs or wants. They see to anything that Dad has to take, and when he needs help, someone is always there to help him with all his needs and more. Someone for him to always be able to talk to, which is what he loves.

This care home gives my mum and our family everything we need and more. Mum is happy, content and alive, and we have a life back. It's expensive when self-funding, but worth every penny. The staff are unbelievable and are now part of our "extended" family. Care homes should use Avon Valley as a role model and mentor. Everything is done with a smile and empathy. Truly very professional and friendly. Thank you 100%.

Very happy with everything at this home and the way Dad is looked after.

The home is very nice and appears to be spotless. All the staff I have had dealings with are polite and very caring, making you feel welcome, and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.

I have been very impressed by the care shown to my father and recently deceased mother during the Covid pandemic, through what have been very difficult and challenging times.

The staff are very friendly and efficient, always easy to talk to; nothing is too much trouble. A wide variety of activities and facilities in a relaxed atmosphere, with lovely surroundings. During this pandemic, the staff have been brilliant. With their dedication, they have managed to keep the home virus-free, keep relatives and friends informed, and have initiated the garden visits. Well done.

My mother was very happy at this care home. The staff looked after her well, she always said, they were "second to none" The staff were very friendly, but at the same time professional and caring. Mum wanted for nothing whilst she was there.

Over the last six months and previously, I have found every aspect of Avon Valley's care and service to be excellent. From caring for my friends every need to the standard of the food, everything is of the highest standard. The facilities are exceptional and the behaviour of every member of staff (we know) is above and beyond our expectations. All the staff are really helpful, polite and happy, and throughout the Covid-19 emergency, the information I received was timely and comprehensive. The additional activities they arranged during this period and the way they cared for my friend during the lockdown helped to maintain her morale and ensured she was always occupied and happy. The fact that Avon Valley remained free of the virus says everything about the quality of management, their organisation and staff training.

Avon Valley Care Home seems to have taken Covid 19 in its stride. All the staff have been excellent, very caring toward my mother-in-law and she is clearly happy and feels safe and cared for, which is so important as she has dementia. When we visit (which I was able to do this week) we can see the relationship of trust and affection that has been built between her and individual staff members. I have particularly valued being able to see pictures via social media and it’s clear that the staff have been really proactive with regards to creating suitable activities.
