Alongside its specialist dementia care, Bupa Willaston provides high-quality residential, nursing, respite, palliative and end-of-life care, supporting people with a wide range of needs.
The care home features six ground-floor households, each accommodating up to six residents, and welcomes couples. Spacious en-suite bedrooms, many with direct access to secure gardens or patios, help create a comfortable and familiar home environment. Each household includes a shared lounge, kitchen, and laundry area, while dedicated Household Assistants provide personalised support and encourage residents to remain as independent as possible.
For those requiring more advanced care, the first floor accommodates a 35-bedroom care home with generously sized en-suite wet-room bedrooms. Many rooms enjoy views across the surrounding Cheshire countryside, with Beeston Castle visible in the distance on clear days.
Residents can relax and socialise in welcoming lounges and dining spaces, while secure rooftop gardens offer peaceful outdoor areas to enjoy year-round.

Overall Experience
My aunt and uncle were welcomed into a household setting in July and have spent the last 4 months at Richmond Village Willaston. The permanent staff are caring and considerate, taking time to deal with my relatives as individuals. The home is spotless and well-appointed with a homely feel.

After enquiring at several homes I found Richmond Villages gave me the answers I needed. The manager gave me all the information which convinced me they could provide all the care that my husband needed for his many illnesses. He was very apprehensive about leaving home but I needn't have worried....
After enquiring at several homes I found Richmond Villages gave me the answers I needed. The manager gave me all the information which convinced me they could provide all the care that my husband needed for his many illnesses. He was very apprehensive about leaving home but I needn't have worried. He settled well in the beautiful surroundings and with very caring staff. Would love to go back thanks to all the team. A little expensive!

My mother came to stay for respite care for 2 weeks whilst I went on holiday. Overall I was very impressed with the care that she received. There were only a handful of residents though as the home is new. The food was exceptional and the carers were lovely. On a negative note, 2 items of clothing went missing, there was no hairdresser and limited activities (this may be because it is not full).

Thank you for your review. At Richmond Village Willaston we are passionate about our person-centred care approach to our residents so I am glad that your mum had a positive experience. Richmond Village Willaston now has an Activity Coordinator in place and she brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience and lots of ideas for our residents. As our occupancy grows I am considering the position of a regular hairdresser and will be shortlisting very soon, however, in the meantime there is a qualified hairdresser in house and we are utilising her skills!

Throughout her career, Nicky has specialised in supporting people living with complex conditions, including dementia, acquired brain injuries, autism, mental health conditions and neurological rehabilitation needs. She has also led projects focused on improving care standards, supporting providers to achieve stronger CQC outcomes and helping individuals regain independence and move back into community living.

Helen is the Head of Lifestyle and Wellbeing at Bupa Willaston Care Home and is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that enrich residents' lives. She loves getting to know each resident as an individual, learning about their interests and the unique experiences that have shaped who they are today. Having recently celebrated five years at Willaston, Helen joined the village as a Carer before progressing to Senior Carer, then Activities Coordinator, and most recently stepping into her current role as Head of Lifestyle and Wellbeing.
A particular passion of Helen's is music and the joy it can bring, whether through shared sing-alongs, live performances or simply connecting residents with their favourite songs and memories. She is also excited about developing intergenerational opportunities within the home, bringing younger people and residents together to create meaningful connections, learning experiences and fun for all involved!
Outside of work, Helen enjoys musical theatre, dining out at great restaurants and spending time walking in the countryside. Her enthusiasm and person-centred approach help make every day engaging and enjoyable for residents at Willaston.
