Excellent care staff. The hairdresser is wonderful and lifts my spirits, magical lady. Staff are amazing, the receptionist is so helpful and charming, three other members of staff are brilliant too - nothing is too much trouble. I would like to thank the cleaner too for all her hard work + smiles.
Thank you so much for leaving us a review , with such kind words which we shall certainly share with the team.
Both mum and dad have been at Lambwood Heights Care Home for a year now. The care has been excellent and their medical requirements have been carefully monitored. The staff are very caring, friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities to keep them entertained. At the end of last year mum and dad celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary, and the home provided a lovely party for them and their family, which was impressive particularly as it was on Christmas Eve. Mum suffers from Alzheimer and dementia and dad from Parkinsons. We have been lucky to keep them both together. Unfortunately we lost dad at the beginning of the year. This was handled with sensitivity and respect. We have the comfort of knowing that he was well looked after to the end and mum will continue to be so.
Thank you so much for your glowing review it means so much that we could be part of mum and dad's story !
I found the whole experience a perfect one. I miss everybody.
Thank you for your review, we would welcome you back should you require another stay with us.
A lovely atmosphere throughout the home. All the staff are very caring, friendly and helpful. It is a pleasure to visit here, the only issue is that parking can be a problem. I, and other friends/family, are happy that he is happy at Lambwood Heights and is being well looked after.
Thank you ever so much for your wonderful feedback, it is a real pleasure having your relative stay with us and glad you enjoy visiting too.
A new experience which I had to get used to. Staff have been kind and helpful. I miss my pets and would love some contact with animals. I would welcome more opportunities for intellectual conversation e.g. about Shakespeare or books. Physically I'm not very agile but I like to keep my brain active.
Thank you for taking the time to review our services, we welcome your feedback and are open to any suggestions you may have on how best we can support you in occupying your time spent with us.
My mother has been at Lambwood Heights for over two years and has been very happy with the facilities and the care, but most of all the wonderful carers who make her life so happy and secure. It is wonderful for the family to know that she is so well looked after.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review it is very much appreciated. It's a pleasure having your mother live with us.
The staff are so caring and helpful. They are amazing. Nothing's too much for them and they are very friendly. Love every one of them. No smells, everything smells gorgeous.
Thank you for a brilliant review, which we will share with our special team in recognition of how fantastic they are!
My sister has been at Lambwood Heights Care Home for over 3 years, and during this time, her care has been as good as being cared for by her family. We couldn't have cared for her any better. The staff are fantastic, can't do enough to help and always voluntarily. They are always happy and ready to update with a smile. The daily activities are varied and fun, and our whole family have lots of precious memories of times spent enjoying these. The home atmosphere is of one big happy family. Lastly, the home is like a 5-star hotel.
Thank you so much for your invaluable feedback it is truly appreciated, and we are delighted to be able to help you make such precious memories as a family, thank you all for being part of our Lambwood Heights family.
August 2021 I had a stroke, right side arm and leg. Hospital month four, care home six months. Another care home Lambwood Heights Chigwell May 2022. Care home for three years. The food is not satisfactory as the flavour is not appealing. The care staff are nice, helpful, said good morning and good night and help me clean and dress.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we are delighted to be part of your journey and celebrate your personal achievements. We appreciate your feedback in relation to food and hope we can meet your expectations in the near future.
With 2 friends I visted a temporary resident, a very elderly man who is there for rehab, from hospital and hoping to return home. We found your facilities absolutely outstanding. The environment is amazing, we were warmly welcomed and invited to use cafe facilities as we were leaving. What a very lovely environment indeed.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review.
From our first experience of respite I'd happily offer reassurance and recommend to anyone considering Lambwood Heights, the home is: Very well-led. Safe. Very caring and responsive. Care staff pay attention to detail and demonstrate a person-centred approach at all times. Demonstrates the principles of the Care Act. Has a CQC rating of Good however I personally feel they deserve an outstanding inspection outcome. It's the care and attention to detail that really does make this venue stand out. The grounds, facilities and venue is beautiful, modern, clean, well-presented and fully accessible. I will 100% book this venue again for my mum and recommend to family and friends. I'd also happily speak to anyone who is considering Lambwood Heights to offer independent feedback. A massive massive thank you to all the team, you're all doing an amazing job. Kind regards.
We would like to thank you for your lovely review of our service and are very pleased that it exceeded your expectations, we would love to have mum come back and stay with us again!
She recently celebrated her 90th birthday where the caterers provided cake and sandwiches for the family to celebrate, also her room and the lounge were decorated for her. I am so happy that she is looked after so well as I live away part of the year and I feel confident that she is ok.
Keep up the good and kind work all at Lambwood Heights.
Thank you for entrusting us to care for your mother, It is a pleasure. We were delighted to be able to host her birthday celebrations for her and the family to enjoy.
Well presented, staff are very helpful and polite, food is excellent. The staff approach you and it is nice that they use your first name.
Thank you for your lovely review, we are so glad your respite stay with us was enjoyable.
My close friend has been a permanent resident of the home following his stroke. He recently married his partner at the home. We had a most wonderfull day. The care home could not have tried harder to make the occasion such an outstanding success. The staff all took the trouble to be suitably dressed for the occasion. The rooms were beautifully decked out and the wedding breakfast and refreshments were top class. We believe this is a first for weddings but hopefully it won't be the last. My friend is very happy living in the home. He is receiving excellent care and stimulation. A very big thank you to all of the staff. Cheers.
Thank you for your glowing review it was truly an honour and a privilege to organise and host the wedding. It was a magical day which was enjoyed by our Lambwood Heights family!
I already knew how nice Lambwood Heights was, based on the experience of a friend. It is a very modern care home.
Mum was very impressed with the beautiful decor, facilities and food. We took the opportunity to organise some more regular physio, provided by a particular person which has helped to improve her mobility.
The nursing staff and carers were immensely kind and she built a good rapport with all of them. There was always a good spirit amongst the staff reflecting I thought high morale. Social events were excellent and the staff really threw themselves into it.
A big thank you to a particular staff member who helped us on this stay and to another staff member who managed the nursing floor. Much appreciation to all the nurses, carers, catering and support staff.
Thank you very much for such a wonderful review, we are really pleased Mum's experience of care was so positive after her initial hesitation.
Our thanks to all the staff.
Thank you for your kind words it has been an absolute pleasure having Mum stay with us and we are delighted she is now able to go back home and be with Dad.
The care and facilities are excellent. My husband is nonverbal and is unable to do anything for himself. The staff meet his needs with love and care, also they look after me if I am feeling stressed. There is regular entertainment and activities which everyone enjoys. You would not find a better care home.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are delighted you are both part of our Lambwood Heights family!
Lambwood Heights is a beautiful friendly and caring place. My aunty received a very warm and friendly welcome. The staff made her feel very special and at ease. All staff we had passed in the corridors were friendly and made a point of saying hello. Aunty enjoyed a very nice 3-course lunch. The accommodation is very tastefully and carefully thought out and was extremely clean. Activities put on daily which is so good for her stimulation. It has been a bit overwhelming for Aunty but we as a family have confidence that she is in good hands and will be well looked after. A special thank you to the reception staff who were very helpful. Well done Lambwood Heights.
Thank you very much for submitting such a wonderful review, we hope your Aunty feels she can call Lambwood Heights home.
The environment and decor is welcoming, clean and a pleasure to spend time in. Activities are appropriate and varied and the management are available and open to comments and suggestions.
I would without hesitation recommend Lambwood and would also thank them as since my mum has been here I have been much more relaxed and content as I know she is being cared for as I would if she were at home with me.
Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear your overall experience is of a high standard and mum has settled well with us.
My mom has been here for nearly 2 years and she is happy with everything. She has her hair done when she wishes and her room gets clean regularly. Her clothes are always ironed and of nice appearance.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We will pass on your comments to the relevant teams.

Meet the Team (4)

I started my journey in Health and Social Care over a decade ago; since then, I have worked in a variety of different areas, such as Physical Disability, Learning Disability and Residential Care. I am proud and passionate to work at Lambwood Heights as General Manager, and my primary aim within my role is to create and lead a people-centred function team that delivers the best possible experience for our residents, ensuring they continue to lead a happy and purposeful life.

I began my nursing career in 2005 after qualifying as a Registered General Nurse. Since then, I’ve worked in a variety of roles across both community and acute hospital settings, with most of my positions involving leadership or management responsibilities. I pride myself on maintaining high clinical standards and always focusing on compassionate, person-centred care. I love being part of the Lambwood Heights family, and I thoroughly enjoy working here.

I have been in the Health and Social Care Sector for 30 years, reaching my ambition to become a Registered Manager. I joined Oakland Care in October 2019 and have worked in various roles throughout this time and settled as the homes’ Client Relations Assistant.
Every day I walk through the door, I still get the wow feeling, thinking how lucky we are to have Lambwood Heights as a place to call home for our residents and a beautiful place to work. I thoroughly enjoy this role and meeting people as they begin their care journey and supporting them in discovering that we see it as a new chapter to be enjoyed to the full.

I joined Lambwood Heights in February 2020 and bring a lot of experience and knowledge to my role as Head of Hospitality at Lambwood Heights having previously worked at Village Kitchen, La Sala and Chigwell Hall.
We pride ourselves that the daily menu has enough variety for residents to enjoy something different each day. It’s important to get regular feedback from our residents on their likes and dislikes whilst ensuring their dietary and nutritional needs are met.
We often have themed days such as Caribbean Day and always have Fish and Chip Fridays! I like to ensure residents have their favourite meals too and our milkshakes are very popular.
When not in the kitchen I enjoy spending time with my son Antoni and long walks with my dog.
