From our first experience of respite I'd happily offer reassurance and recommend to anyone considering Lambwood Heights, the home is: Very well-led. Safe. Very caring and responsive. Care staff pay attention to detail and demonstrate a person-centred approach at all times. Demonstrates the principles
of the Care Act. Has a CQC rating of Good however I personally feel they deserve an outstanding inspection outcome. It's the care and attention to detail that really does make this venue stand out. The grounds, facilities and venue is beautiful, modern, clean, well-presented and fully accessible. I will 100% book this venue again for my mum and recommend to family and friends. I'd also happily speak to anyone who is considering Lambwood Heights to offer independent feedback. A massive massive thank you to all the team, you're all doing an amazing job. Kind regards.

My mother has been living in Lambwood Heights now for two years, I have always found her care to be very attentive and caring. Her clothes are always clean as is her room and common parts.
She recently celebrated her 90th birthday where the caterers provided cake and sandwiches for the family to celebrate,
also her room and the lounge were decorated for her. I am so happy that she is looked after so well as I live away part of the year and I feel confident that she is ok.
Keep up the good and kind work all at Lambwood Heights.

My close friend has been a permanent resident of the home following his stroke. He recently married his partner at the home. We had a most wonderfull day. The care home could not have tried harder to make the occasion such an outstanding success. The staff all took the trouble to be suitably dressed
for the occasion. The rooms were beautifully decked out and the wedding breakfast and refreshments were top class. We believe this is a first for weddings but hopefully it won't be the last. My friend is very happy living in the home. He is receiving excellent care and stimulation. A very big thank you to all of the staff. Cheers.

My mother stayed at Lambwood Heights for three weeks of respite in May. Mum is 99, mentally fit for her age, with continuing motivation for life. But following a lengthy stay in hospital she had become quite immobile.
I already knew how nice Lambwood Heights was, based on the experience of a friend.
It is a very modern care home.
Mum was very impressed with the beautiful decor, facilities and food. We took the opportunity to organise some more regular physio, provided by a particular person which has helped to improve her mobility.
The nursing staff and carers were immensely kind and she built a good rapport with all of them. There was always a good spirit amongst the staff reflecting I thought high morale. Social events were excellent and the staff really threw themselves into it.
A big thank you to a particular staff member who helped us on this stay and to another staff member who managed the nursing floor. Much appreciation to all the nurses, carers, catering and support staff.

My 88 year old mother came to the home for respite care following a hip replacement. The care she received has been excellent. The management, the carers and the nursing staff have been brilliant. The atmosphere is so welcoming and and the staff really do care.

The care and facilities are excellent. My husband is nonverbal and is unable to do anything for himself. The staff meet his needs with love and care, also they look after me if I am feeling stressed. There is regular entertainment and activities which everyone enjoys. You would not find a better care
home.

Lambwood Heights is a beautiful friendly and caring place. My aunty received a very warm and friendly welcome. The staff made her feel very special and at ease. All staff we had passed in the corridors were friendly and made a point of saying hello. Aunty enjoyed a very nice 3-course lunch. The accommodation
is very tastefully and carefully thought out and was extremely clean. Activities put on daily which is so good for her stimulation. It has been a bit overwhelming for Aunty but we as a family have confidence that she is in good hands and will be well looked after. A special thank you to the reception staff who were very helpful. Mum has been at Lambwood for almost two years now and is completely settled. The home has a wonderful atmosphere and all of the staff without exception do their utmost to make both the residents and their families happy, relaxed, comfortable and entertained.
The environment and decor is welcoming,
clean and a pleasure to spend time in. Activities are appropriate and varied and the management are available and open to comments and suggestions.
I would without hesitation recommend Lambwood and would also thank them as since my mum has been here I have been much more relaxed and content as I know she is being cared for as I would if she were at home with me.

My mom has been here for nearly 2 years and she is happy with everything. She has her hair done when she wishes and her room gets clean regularly. Her clothes are always ironed and of nice appearance.

My mother is been here for a year. Before she had a fall she was thriving and used to go the live entertainment on Fridays which she really enjoyed.The carers are fantastic and the nurses are great taking care of her.

My husband's mother seems to have settled in very well into Lambwood Heights in Chigwell - we also enjoy coming in to visit her every Wednesday her other friends visit on a Monday - her daughter and granddaughters come in at the weekend. We are very very happy with Lambwood plus the staff are always
so kind and thoughtful - the food is good too and the entertainment is first class - especially the summer garden parties. Thank you all.

My mum spent 4 weeks at Lambwood Heights following a stint in hospital after a fall at home. From the transfer from the hospital to her day of departure Mum's care has been amazing. All the staff are lovely, caring and genuinely seem to love their job. Two of the nurses gave Mum several hugs when she
left and said how they will miss her.
The food is fantastic, so much choice as are the activities on offer.
Mum has got her fighting spirit back and her confidence - thank you so much.

The care home provided a very spacious and comfortable room for a respite stay in luxurious surroundings. The staff are very supportive and welcoming. Food and meals are of a high standard with a good choice.
A wide range of activities were available, including hairdressing and nail services.

I would like to thank all the staff for the tremendous effort they put into the Christmas party. The atmosphere was amazing. So was the food! My mother was unable to join in due to mobility issues but the home organised a very good magician to visit the residents unable to attend. I thought that was
a nice touch.
The activities for mobile residents are very good but are very limited for immobile residents which I do understand is more challenging but I would like to see a few more options available.

I was impressed with Lambwood from the outset. It is purposed built with its own coffee shop, salon and cinema. The decor is imaginative and very appropriate for people with dementia. Also, all the various activities, music, art, quizzes, etc, all are important to stimulate the residents. Care is taken
to match particular activities with individual residents. There is a weekly program.
The staff are welcoming and helpful to relatives and visitors alike. Having actually stayed at Lambwood and observed the staff having to do a very difficult job, I can honestly recommend Lambwoood.

Thank you to all the team for the amazing Gatsby theme Christmas party last Friday. As usual, so much thought was put into making it an afternoon that residents and relatives will not forget. The food, decorations, costumes and entertainment were first-class. The atmosphere was one of warmth and love.
Residents, relatives and staff all joined together in welcoming the festive season with joy and laughter. Once again Lambwood you smashed it. Very well done

Love the variety of activities provided; there is a full programme of music, art, crafts and entertainment so there will always be something for everyone. As a relative, I also really appreciate all the opportunities to join in, for example the 1920s Christmas party last Friday was a roaring success,
such a huge effort had been made with the decorations, food, entertainment and ambiance and it was very well attended. These events are the icing on the cake in addition to the wonderful care that my mum receives.

A lot of effort went into the excellent 1920s party on December 8th. The staff looked great in their 20s fancy dress and fully participated in the fun whilst also being attentive to the residents. Great entertainment and the lovely food provided by one member of staff. I know that my mother really enjoyed
herself as did I.

Lambwood Heights is absolutely amazing, the staff are wonderful, kind, caring and loving to residents as well as the families. Thank you so much to the Cherry Team and Management for organising a wonderful 13th and 7th birthday party for our girls. Every detail was to perfection, they went above and
beyond to make it so special for us as a family. We have been through a great deal with my husband's health but Lambwood staff have been a Godsend. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I have not only matured with age but I have grown as a person amongst special individuals that I have been fortunate enough to meet in the past 10 years during my career path going from a Care Assistant role to a Reminiscence Coordinator, Deputy Manager and becoming a General Manager.


I strive to help as much as I can and support the team by sharing all my knowledge and empowering people to achieve their full potential. My goal within the Care Sector is to continue helping people feel loved and an individual, be they residents, relatives, or staff.


Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, travelling and reading as much as I can in between!

I am proud and passionate to work at Lambwood Heights as Deputy Manager, and my primary aim within my role is to create and lead a people-centred function team that delivers the best possible experience for our residents, ensuring they continue to lead a happy and purposeful life.

I have been in the Health and Social Care Sector for 30 years, reaching my ambition to become a Registered Manager. I joined Oakland Care in October 2019 and have worked in various roles throughout this time and settled as the homes’ Client Relations Assistant.


Every day I walk through the door, I still get the wow feeling, thinking how lucky we are to have Lambwood Heights as a place to call home for our residents and a beautiful place to work. I thoroughly enjoy this role and meeting people as they begin their care journey and supporting them in discovering that we see it as a new chapter to be enjoyed to the full.

Job Title: Head of Hospitality Joined: 2020

I joined Lambwood Heights in February 2020 and bring a lot of experience and knowledge to my role as Head of Hospitality at Lambwood Heights having previously worked at Village Kitchen, La Sala and Chigwell Hall.


We pride ourselves that the daily menu has enough variety for residents to enjoy something different each day. It’s important to get regular feedback from our residents on their likes and dislikes whilst ensuring their dietary and nutritional needs are met.


We often have themed days such as Caribbean Day and always have Fish and Chip Fridays! I like to ensure residents have their favourite meals too and our milkshakes are very popular.


When not in the kitchen I enjoy spending time with my son Antoni and long walks with my dog.
