My mother is been here for a year. Before she had a fall she was thriving and used to go the live entertainment on Fridays which she really enjoyed. The carers are fantastic and the nurses are great taking care of her.
Thank you for your review, we will pass your kind words to the carers looking after Mum.
My husband's mother seems to have settled in very well into Lambwood Heights in Chigwell - we also enjoy coming in to visit her every Wednesday her other friends visit on a Monday - her daughter and granddaughters come in at the weekend. We are very very happy with Lambwood plus the staff are always so kind and thoughtful - the food is good too and the entertainment is first class - especially the summer garden parties. Thank you all.
Thank you for taking the time to review. We welcome all visitors into our home to enhance the day of your relative.
The food is fantastic, so much choice as are the activities on offer.
Mum has got her fighting spirit back and her confidence - thank you so much.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a very complimentary review.
A wide range of activities were available, including hairdressing and nail services.
Thank you for your review of Lambwood Heights. Mealtimes and activities are a very important part of our residents' day.
The activities for mobile residents are very good but are very limited for immobile residents which I do understand is more challenging but I would like to see a few more options available.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We were delighted you were able to join us.
The staff are welcoming and helpful to relatives and visitors alike. Having actually stayed at Lambwood and observed the staff having to do a very difficult job, I can honestly recommend Lambwoood.
Thank you for taking the time to review and your very positive comments on our memory care provided to your family member.
Thank you to all the team for the amazing Gatsby theme Christmas party last Friday. As usual, so much thought was put into making it an afternoon that residents and relatives will not forget. The food, decorations, costumes and entertainment were first-class. The atmosphere was one of warmth and love. Residents, relatives and staff all joined together in welcoming the festive season with joy and laughter. Once again Lambwood you smashed it. Very well done
Thank you for taking the time to leave a lovely review. We were so delighted you were able to join us.
Love the variety of activities provided; there is a full programme of music, art, crafts and entertainment so there will always be something for everyone. As a relative, I also really appreciate all the opportunities to join in, for example the 1920s Christmas party last Friday was a roaring success, such a huge effort had been made with the decorations, food, entertainment and ambiance and it was very well attended. These events are the icing on the cake in addition to the wonderful care that my mum receives.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Lambwood Heights. It's always an added advantage when family have the opportunity to join their loved ones to enjoy the activities.
Very well done to the whole team.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Thank you for joining us to celebrate with your mother, we are delighted you both enjoyed the occasion.
The facilities offered in this home are of a very high standard in all areas of the services provided. The space provided in public areas as well as in the rooms themselves is very spacious. The entire home is at all times clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of Lambwood Heights. Much appreciated.
All carers/staff that helped and organised the “white-themed summer party” have been the party of the year so far!
The food/drink was amazing - thank you, chef. The main singer and the karaoke were spot on, very professional, along with the face painting and artist. It was so enjoyable and fun, and we are so glad we attended. Thank you so much to all the staff.
Thank you for your review.
I attended the Wear White Summer party at Lambwood Heights today with my sister and mum who is a resident. What an incredible event. Welcoming, friendly staff great entertainment and decorations and fabulous food, we had an absolute ball! Even experienced the fancy glitter face painting! Thank you to all the staff who made this event the total success it was.
Thank you for your review, we are so pleased both yourself and your sister were able to share this day with your mum.
Lovely afternoon at the Lambwood Heights White Party today, mum enjoyed singing along to most of the songs. Staff are so friendly and caring, such a wonderful family atmosphere, what a stark difference from the previous care home my mum was in!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Mum is very much part of our family at Lambwood.
Mum and Dad just enjoyed a second period of respite care. Lovely facilities and warm reception from staff. Dad had a particularly nice bedroom overlooking the garden and enjoyed all the activities. They both enjoyed minibus trips. Good weather meant they could enjoy the garden.
Thank you for leaving a review. It was lovely to welcome your mum and dad back for a stay with us and was great to see them making the most of all activities.
Very happy with the care given to my mother, who has Alzheimer's. On her floor, they understand her needs and assist her in any way they can. I do have great faith in the care that she is given. It's not an easy floor to work on, and they do a great job.
Thank you for taking the time to review, and your feedback is valuable to us.
My aunt's very happy here. She has a shower everyday and wears clean clothes. She's never looked better. She's 96 years old. She likes the food and she's well taken care of. She enjoys the entertainment, especially the sing-a-longs.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review, much appreciated.
Carers are helpful and friendly. I go to the hairdressing salon once a week. The food is good. Lots of activities going on. I like the sing-a-longs.
Thank you for taking the time to give a review. We are glad to hear you are enjoying the variety of activities.
My mother has been resident in the residential unit for a few months now. Staff are helpful, friendly, responsive and respect her choices. There are many activities available, the food is excellent and the rooms are lovely. The building is well maintained. Over all my mother is quite content.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We will share with all staff caring for mum.
Outstanding all around would highly recommend it. The professionalism of the staff is outstanding, nothing is too much trouble. Staff are always happy, they go out of their way to help and support the residents even preempting problems that could occur on their days off. The building is exactly as it is in the photos, clean and tidy, the food is plentiful, with separate staff serving meals which are healthy and a wide choice, with plenty of snacks/drinks available in between meals. There are plenty of activities for residents that staff assist and encourage people to take part in. Management frequently asks for residents/family reviews which are immediately acted upon. Staff are happy and are willing to chat about their work and the support/training they get through their employer. Would definitely use it again and highly recommend it.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your experience, much appreciated.
Thank you so much for being so kind and supportive to mum, particularly in the midst of her recent illnesses and hospital stays. It has meant a huge amount. In particular, her carers really go above and beyond to make mum feel really looked after and cared about not just cared for. I’m so grateful and really feel that she is safe and happy with you. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We will ensure all feedback is received by those caring for your relative.

Meet the Team (4)

I started my journey in Health and Social Care over a decade ago; since then, I have worked in a variety of different areas, such as Physical Disability, Learning Disability and Residential Care. I am proud and passionate to work at Lambwood Heights as General Manager, and my primary aim within my role is to create and lead a people-centred function team that delivers the best possible experience for our residents, ensuring they continue to lead a happy and purposeful life.

I began my nursing career in 2005 after qualifying as a Registered General Nurse. Since then, I’ve worked in a variety of roles across both community and acute hospital settings, with most of my positions involving leadership or management responsibilities. I pride myself on maintaining high clinical standards and always focusing on compassionate, person-centred care. I love being part of the Lambwood Heights family, and I thoroughly enjoy working here.

I have been in the Health and Social Care Sector for 30 years, reaching my ambition to become a Registered Manager. I joined Oakland Care in October 2019 and have worked in various roles throughout this time and settled as the homes’ Client Relations Assistant.
Every day I walk through the door, I still get the wow feeling, thinking how lucky we are to have Lambwood Heights as a place to call home for our residents and a beautiful place to work. I thoroughly enjoy this role and meeting people as they begin their care journey and supporting them in discovering that we see it as a new chapter to be enjoyed to the full.

I joined Lambwood Heights in February 2020 and bring a lot of experience and knowledge to my role as Head of Hospitality at Lambwood Heights having previously worked at Village Kitchen, La Sala and Chigwell Hall.
We pride ourselves that the daily menu has enough variety for residents to enjoy something different each day. It’s important to get regular feedback from our residents on their likes and dislikes whilst ensuring their dietary and nutritional needs are met.
We often have themed days such as Caribbean Day and always have Fish and Chip Fridays! I like to ensure residents have their favourite meals too and our milkshakes are very popular.
When not in the kitchen I enjoy spending time with my son Antoni and long walks with my dog.
