A very pleasant visit recently to visit my dad. The Covid testing area prior to entering the home is well stocked and the signing-in procedure is easy to use.
The staff all seem to know Dad well and a definite relationship has started to form with the various carers and staff on duty.
We shared
a meal with Dad in a private dining room although some staff were also using the space for their lunch at the time. Food is good and cooked well by the chef. Any concerns and suggestions are discussed and taken on board. The care team are always willing to adapt to the needs of the resident.
The activities are enjoyable and interactive with the residents.
My recommendations to the home would be to develop a communication tool or app whereby the family and care team can view share notes on the resident's daily care.
Overall I am happy with the care my dad is receiving In Lambwood.

My stay at Lambwood Heights for three weeks was very comfortable. The staff were very caring but the food was saved on soft for regular residents. Otherwise faultless.

Overall my mother had a very good experience as most of the staff were lovely and kind. The facilities are excellent and it is a lovely environment to be in. She met some other lovely residents and would definitely return in the future.

Have been extremely impressed by the amenities provided, the staff friendliness, and management's availability to accommodate us if we had any concerns. There have been activities provided on most days we have visited which our friend attends. We appreciate the difficulty at this time with Covid affecting
the provision of entertainment but some has been found. In our last comment, we would like to express, the receptionists as they are always pleasant and welcoming.

My daughter has used more than 11 different respite care homes in the past. I found Lambwood Heights Care Home to be the best. The home is extremely kept well run. My daughter has been looked after with utmost care, love, and respect. The staff have been extremely helpful and caring. They cared for
her really well and helped with her needs, and severe learning difficulties. I highly recommend this place to all honestly, and with total confidence. The staff there deserve medal.

Faultless.
Staff members are friendly, thoughtful, caring, attentive and helpful. My 96-year-old mother was put at ease from the outset.
When visiting the staff were always amenable and considerate.

Since my father has been at Lambwood Heights Care Home I have been very impressed with the care he has received. All the staff seem to go that extra mile to help with Dad's needs and helping him to recover from his stroke (he also has vascular dementia). The ambience at Lambwood is wonderful and with
the surrounding grounds and gardens, I know the outdoor space will good for Dad's wellbeing. From the moment you are greeted by the reception team, you are made to feel very welcome in a family-like environment. Thank you.

Everything is great. On checking in, the welcoming team were wonderful and made my mother feel at home immediately. Since my mother has checked in, everything has run super smoothly. The standard of the decor is superb, the food is good, and the staff are extremely caring, with nothing too much for
them. The main thing is that my mother is very happy, and taking part in the various activities, and enjoying the gardens. It was certainly the right decision to move to Lambwood Heights. Thank you to all the team.

Where do I start... This is by far the best care home in Essex! From the moment I viewed this wonderful place, I knew it was the place for my auntie to recuperate. Everything about Lambwood Heights ticked all the right boxes... the staff are amazing, the food is fab... every room is decorated to a very
high standard... we only booked in for 4-weeks as my auntie had a fractured spine and at 89, she needed 24/7 care.
We really thought we were going to lose her, but the care and support that she’s received have been 1st class, and we really can’t believe how well she’s doing... so much so, she wants to continue her journey of life being cared for by these wonderful carers/staff that have supported her from day one. I would like to thank everyone that has made her transition to the care sector so easy; you all are amazing.

My dad spent 3 weeks in Lambwood Heights after being in hospital for 3 weeks, my dad arrived in Lambwood Heights very underweight and poorly. It was amazing to see how much he had improved both physically and mentally due to the care and support of all the staff in Lambwood Heights. Nothing was too

We were concerned about the resident going into a Care Home, especially at this time.
We were informed that we were not allowed into the home when she was admitted due to the Covid-19 rules, but the way this was handled was excellent.
She has been here now for two months and is much happier, safer
and cared for than when she was at home on her own.
On our first visit, you could see the change in her, smiling, singing and dancing in the Summer House.

I spent two weeks respite at Lambwood in July after having major surgery. I found all staff to be helpful. Facilities were good but because of Covid, some things were not possible. They did set up a garden room for visitors to come, but this was hard as you had to wait for a slot. I would certainly
go again.

Lovely surroundings and superior quality of the rooms and facilities. Nursing care is good with friendly staff, very kind and supportive of my mother. There is a need to ensure specific dietary preferences are met at all times, and staff response is timely for my mother's needs.
Obviously, in these
surreal times, it is very difficult to determine the actual reality as I am unable to spend time in the home itself when visiting.

I find all staff very friendly and helpful. They always keep you informed about the resident. Everything seems very high standard and well run. I have not had the chance to go inside at the moment because of covid 19; I look forward to seeing more of the care home when I can visit someday.

Lambwood Heights is an exceptionally well-appointed care home. Having had absolutely awful treatment at the hands of the local NHS, the fantastic staff have been so caring and attentive, the improvement in my father's condition has been nothing short of miraculous. The staff at Lambwood Heights are
incredibly caring and highly professional. Nothing is too much trouble for them whatever my father's needs, the staff are always ready to help and change things. This is true of every member of staff from the receptionist, to the chef, the nurses and everyone - all show so much compassion. Even in the most trying circumstances of COVID-19, the staff have really gone the extra mile to make things easier for the residents and relatives. I cannot recommend Lambwood Heights highly enough! Thank you to all the staff at Lambwood Heights!

Dad is an intelligent man whose body has started to deteriorate. After a few spells in hospital, it felt like the NHS was giving up. Indeed, the NHS discharge was on the basis you will never walk again. The experience at Lambwood Heights could not be more different. From support with the fight with
the NHS to let him go into Lambwood Heights rather than one the NHS dictated they should select, to the loving care and treatment he has received. Lambwood Heights team could not have been more supportive of both my father and us as relatives. The care, facilities, staff and management are exemplary. They show just how we should care for and treat our elderly. The improvement over what was provided by the NHS is orthogonal. Dad has settled in enjoys the facility, services and entertainment offered. Nothing is too much trouble for the team at Lambwood Heights. Dad progresses and albeit with assistance and a frame has started his journey back to mobility. I rate Lambwood very highly.

Lambwood Heights Care Home creates a warm and happy environment for the elderly. My mother really enjoyed her day visit for 'Fish and Chip Friday'. She said that the staff were very sweet and she loved singing songs with the other residents. The day was well organised and management go above and beyond
to cater to your needs.

I started working in the Care Sector in April 2012, at the age of 23. As a young person, coming from a different country, I was very excited to receive an opportunity to join a successful team and learn how great care is delivered.


I have not only matured with age but I have grown as a person amongst special individuals that I have been fortunate enough to meet in the past 10 years during my career path going from a Care Assistant role to a Reminiscence Coordinator, Deputy Manager and becoming a General Manager.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, travelling and reading as much as I can in between!

I started my journey in Health and Social Care over a decade ago; since then, I have worked in a variety of different areas, such as Physical Disability, Learning Disability and Residential Care. I am proud and passionate to work at Lambwood Heights as Deputy Manager, and my primary aim within my role is to create and lead a people-centred function team that delivers the best possible experience for our residents, ensuring they continue to lead a happy and purposeful life.

Job Title: Client Relations Assistant Joined: 2019

I have been in the Health and Social Care Sector for 30 years, reaching my ambition to become a Registered Manager. I joined Oakland Care in October 2019 and have worked in various roles throughout this time and settled as the homes’ Client Relations Assistant.


Every day I walk through the door, I still get the wow feeling, thinking how lucky we are to have Lambwood Heights as a place to call home for our residents and a beautiful place to work. I thoroughly enjoy this role and meeting people as they begin their care journey and supporting them in discovering that we see it as a new chapter to be enjoyed to the full.

Job Title: Head of Hospitality Joined: 2020

I joined Lambwood Heights in February 2020 and bring a lot of experience and knowledge to my role as Head of Hospitality at Lambwood Heights having previously worked at Village Kitchen, La Sala and Chigwell Hall.


We pride ourselves that the daily menu has enough variety for residents to enjoy something different each day. It’s important to get regular feedback from our residents on their likes and dislikes whilst ensuring their dietary and nutritional needs are met.


We often have themed days such as Caribbean Day and always have Fish and Chip Fridays! I like to ensure residents have their favourite meals too and our milkshakes are very popular.


When not in the kitchen I enjoy spending time with my son Antoni and long walks with my dog.
