I had the pleasure of visiting Inspire Neurocare Worcester today for a lovely BBQ and a chance to meet with both the team and the residents. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere - it truly feels like a home from home rehabilitation unit.

Speaking with the staff

teams, manager, and residents, it was clear how much care and dedication goes into creating such a compassionate environment. The enthusiasm and genuine kindness of the staff shone through, especially in the way they ensured the residents were not only comfortable but genuinely enjoying the day.

It was wonderful to see such a strong sense of community and commitment to high-quality care. Inspire Neurocare Worcester is a place where individuals are supported, respected, and celebrated, a credit to everyone involved. I look forward to my next visit.

Where to begin, so many people to thank at Inspire Worcester for supporting my son through this difficult phase of his life. Special thanks to your therapy support has been outstanding, thank you so much for the support and challenges you have given my son, a special thank you to Ian for not only listening
and supporting Mat but allowing me time to talk to. When we arrived on the first day my son was very apprehensive about meeting new people but that didn't last. The staff are all wonderful from the cleaning staff all the way through to management you can clearly see they care deeply about their residents. Food is exceptional, the cook came and introduced himself on the first day, within no time he settled in. His room is lovely giving him the privacy that the hospital ward didn't. My son has just spent 2 successful days in the I dependant flat and hopefully will be home within the next couple of weeks. Thank you all so so much for helping him on his road to recovery.

My son started living at Inspire Neurocare Worcester in January 2025. From the start he was treated with kindness, respect and skill. We were also accepted as his family and always welcomed. We were impressed with the facilities and his personal accommodation. it was clear from the start that he was
happy to be there and enjoyed the company of the staff. This was a great relief to all of us who love him. We are impressed with the engagement and skill of the professional staff. We had concerns about the level of communication between the staff and ourselves. It was difficult to understand plans and who to speak to. It was discussed at a Residents and Families meeting and things have changed since then. There is still a way to go but we know the matter is being taken seriously.

Today, I made my first visit to Inspire Neurocare Worcester. I wanted to visit a resident to encourage her recovery. On arrival at Inspire with two friends, the resident met us with great joy and from the beginning to the end of the visit, the staff we met greeted us with courtesy and friendliness.
The facilities, the opportunities that are so evidently tailored to our friend's rehabilitation, and the brightness and cleanliness of Inspire Worcester were a real pleasure to experience. We would like to commend the staff highly for the incredible progress our friend has made and continues to make.

I was admitted to Inspire Neurocare following six months in hospital after my brain tumour operations. I was referred for rehab and stayed for three months. When I arrived I was instantly made welcome, I found the experience strange to begin with having moved around several wards in hospital on a regular
basis. My room felt like a five-star hotel in comparison. All the staff couldn't have done enough for me throughout my stay. I slowly got into a daily routine and became more comfortable within my surroundings with their help and expertise. My confidence gradually increased and I will be forever grateful and in debt to the professional teams who made this possible. Thank you.

My son moved into Inspire in March 2021 after almost 6 months in hospital and another 3 weeks at another hospital. He was bedbound and not speaking communicating verbally only by sign. With great patience, all the staff cared for him. He was moody and unwilling to join in at times but gradually with
their attentive care he now speaks well and his communication skills are virtually back to where they were before August 2020. We will be forever grateful to them all every single one for bringing my son back.

Our daughter has physical and psychological complex needs. Staff have not been daunted in adapting to her care needs with compassion, allowing her to control decision making and choices wherever possible. We are very pleased and confident with the care she is receiving and would praise the empathy we
have observed between patients and staff. The management and all staff are professional, approachable, friendly and always willing and open to respond to questions or concerns. The building itself is wonderfully designed, bright, modern and clean. There is a warm feel to the place. Whilst Covid has brought challenges to staff, service users and their friends and families, we look forward positively to the future and believe Inspire will go from strength to strength.

My brother has been at Inspire for the last 12 months and the care he has received (at a very challenging and difficult time due to Covid) has been exemplary.
Inspire is a real home from home with staff that treat your loved one as if they were their own family, When I said my brother liked music
and used to listen to vinyls and has a load at home the manager went above and beyond to purchase a turntable which I believe my brother and staff have really enjoyed!
The facilities are amazing, the bedrooms like those in a fancy hotel, and the chef cooks food that wouldn’t be out of place on a menu at a fancy restaurant.
My brother and the family are treated with the greatest respect and visits are now a really pleasurable affair in spite of the facemasks and PPE.

The only “niggles” have been due to issues surrounding Covid which have not been due to any fault of Inspire and when we have voiced those concerns staff at Inspire have been quick to respond and act!

My husband sustained a severe head injury following a road traffic accident and he required intensive rehabilitation. We were so relieved when we found Inspire Neurocare Worcester for his continued rehab care.
My husband was treated as an individual and all his care was patient-centered and totally
holistic. His every need was catered for.
Beautiful, modern, stylish and very comfortable surroundings not to mention fantastic, healthy food. A real home from home!
Staff are all very approachable, friendly, empathetic and understanding as well as providing first-class care.
The therapy team strived for the best possible outcome and thankfully my husband progressed so well he finally returned home 6 weeks ago.
We 100% recommend Inspire Neurocare for rehabilitation care following a head injury. Thank you.

Current Review Score: 8.8 (8.755)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.8 (8.755) out of 10 for Inspire Neurocare Worcester is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.8 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.915 for Inspire Neurocare Worcester is calculated as follows: ( (43 Excellents x 5) + (4 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 47 Ratings = 4.915
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.84 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Inspire Neurocare Worcester is based on 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.375
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 43 registered maximum number of service users is 8.6. 4 Positive Reviews ÷ 8.6 = 0.465
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
