Visited my mother during which she had an accident going to the loo. This was handled promptly and without fuss. Also saw medication given and attention was given to water. Sat in a clean lounge and all that passed said hello or gave a wave.

The home is bright, airy and well-equipped. My grandfather has been cared for for over a year now and all in all, it has been a good experience. The staff are kind and supportive. The food is ok but could always have more variety, regular change of menu. The areas for family are lovely and my grandfather has been looked after well.

Brackley Care Home is a modern care home, clean and, in my experience, very well run. The entrance atrium is like that of a grand modern hotel. The home had good access for the disabled, those in wheelchairs (as I am one currently). The extensive gardens are paved in level wheelchair-friendly level paving, and there are extra garden furniture tables and chairs for residents to enjoy the sun/get some fresh air. The care staff are only a bell press away, day and night. I would recommend this home to others who need a care home place on a temporary or permanent basis.

Your positive feedback about Brackley Care Home is indeed heart-warming and reflects the kind of environment we aspire to create for all residents. My father had a very enjoyable stay. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful at all times. The cleanliness of the bedroom is excellent and the quality of the TV provided is also worthy of mention.

There may well be 'no place like home' but I would happily recommend this home for the care and attention my father received.

We placed our 89-year-old mother in the care of this home. We were initially concerned as she hadn't been left in the care of anyone before. Our concerns were unwarranted, as she had a great time. The staff were excellent and so was the premises. We are now booking a second visit for later in the year.

We think that my sister has been looked after and treated with excellent care. Her bed sores are healing really well. So pleased that she has been able to be taken to the lounge in her chair for different events for a short period of time. All the staff we have met have been very kind and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble and always very helpful. You have very happy, caring staff.

It was a difficult decision to move our father into care but Brackley Care Home staff have been amazing from the start. We followed our father's wishes to stay local despite this meaning distance for family. It is so reassuring to know our dad has a family at the home around him, caring for his needs. Our father is so settled in his environment and staff are complimentary about his nature in the home. All staff have been great in responding to what our father needs and encouraging his stimulation. We always feel up to date on his welfare and they have helped manage his appointments when it is difficult for us to attend. My father always says how happy and well looked after he is in the home and enjoys many of the lovely activities provided by the home. We are very happy and grateful to the staff at Brackley Care Home. Thank you.

Review from Sammie H (Daughter of Resident) published on 10 February 2023 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My father initially stayed at the care home for three weeks of respite care but quickly decided that he would like to stay permanently.
Sadly his health (despite the best care at the home), was rapidly declining and, was only at the home for 7/8 weeks before he passed away, peacefully aged 90.
The care and compassion shown by the staff throughout my father's stay were exemplary. Not only did it give my father huge support and care it also gave me huge peace of mind that he was being very well cared for and, he had everything he needed. Not only did he have the support he needed, but the care and support I received (It's not an easy transition for families watching previous independent parents losing their independence) was unexpected and very wonderful. I will truly miss going into the care home and seeing these extraordinary people on a daily basis.

The care home is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The staff are cheerful, caring and so respectful of the residents. Thank you.

Since my mother has been a resident here she has met a lot of people which she would not have done at home. She has settled in well, is well looked after and enjoys the company of everyone. We were a bit apprehensive to start with, but are really appreciative of the kindness and consideration given by all the staff.

I can feel the love and care so much. I have known my friend for over 50 years. We have shared so much together and also families. She is very dear to me. My friend was an amazing dancer, especially The Jive. She would dance, sing and laugh so so much, Rock 'n' Roll being her favourite.

My visit here today is the 1st time. What an amazing home my dear friend is now very much a part of. The staff are of an excellent quality.
