I cannot rate Edenbridge Manor highly enough. My 93 year old mother has been there for 3 weeks respite care so far & possibly a 4th week. Every single member of the team is exemplary - I wish I could name them all. They are all the best & the facilities superb as is the care. No, it is not inexpensive but it is worth every penny!
Thanks so much for your wonderful review. It means a great deal to our whole team to hear that your mother has had such a positive experience with us during her respite stay. We know how important it is to find the right care for a loved one, and we're delighted that our team, facilities and...
My mother has been here for 3 years and overall I am happy. My mother is happy and that's the main thing. Unfortunately she did break her hip but seems to be recovering well. All the care staff are very kind.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that your mother has been happy with us over the past three years, and that you have been pleased with the care she has received. We're sorry to hear about her broken hip, but we're very pleased to know that she...
Their rooms are lovely and clean food is freshly cooked and the staff provide plenty of activities and entertainment
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We're delighted to hear that our team's care helps create a true home-from-home environment. It's great to know you appreciate our clean, comfortable rooms, freshly cooked meals, and the wide range of activities and entertainment we provide for our residents. Your kind words mean a lot to us and our staff. Kind regards, Jane
I have rather mixed feelings about Edenbridge Manor. While I cannot fault the facilities and activities for the more able-minded residents, I felt that those on the dementia floor did not receive the care they required, most likely due to understaffing/lack of trained staff. On the occasions we visited, the care team appeared overstretched and while certain members did an excellent job, others less willing to leap into action, especially with more difficult/upsetting residents. Considering the added cost for dementia residents, this needs improvement.
From what I have seen and experienced, if the time comes for one of my own parents to be placed in care, I will not be using Avery. The fact that their care home fees are payable for 14 days after a resident's death is grossly excessive. The CMA states that a period of no more than three days is appropriate and having to pay such hefty fees alongside funeral costs is the last thing that any grieving family should have to worry about
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased that you recognised the quality of our facilities and activities. We appreciate that experiences and perceptions can vary, and we are sorry to hear that aspects of your visits left you with concerns.

Jane, Jas - you were fantastic.
Thank you for your kind words. We're truly delighted to hear that your mother's move to Edenbridge Manor was a positive experience for both of you. Starting a new chapter can feel daunting, so it means a great deal to know that our team helped put you at ease from the very beginning. We will be...
I wanted to express my sincere thanks to you and your entire team for the wonderful care my mum received during the three and a half years she lived at the care home. From the very beginning, we were always greeted with warmth and kindness, which meant so much to our family. This compassion was reflected throughout the home - from reception to the kitchen, care, and medical teams - everyone showed genuine dedication and respect.
It was clear how hard you all worked to ensure my mum, and every resident, was treated with dignity, kindness, and care each day. Knowing she was surrounded by people who truly cared gave us great comfort and peace of mind. Thank you for creating such a supportive environment and for everything you did to make my mum's time with you happy and comfortable. Your efforts will always be deeply appreciated.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It truly means a great deal to our entire team to know that your mum felt cared for, respected, and comfortable during her time with us. We're grateful for the trust your family placed in us over those three and a half years, and we're touched...
When we visited Edenbridge Manor in August 2023 with my cousin, it immediately gave us a feeling of comfort and welcoming that put us all at ease, and pave the way to have the 'difficult discussion'.
My cousin has been a resident since then, and celebrated her 100th birthday in 2024 - where the staff put on a party for her and around 25 of her visiting friends. Nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure she had a great day.
The care and attention to her health and well-being is wonderful, and gives us full confidence in the quality of the service provided by the team of wonderful staff.
A colleague of mine also has a relative in another of the Avery Care Homes, and feels the same support as we do.
Thank you for sharing such a meaningful and personal review. We understand how difficult the decision to arrange residential care can be, and we're very pleased that Edenbridge Manor provided a sense of comfort and reassurance from your first visit. It's wonderful to hear that your cousin has...
Dad has now been a resident at Edenbridge Manor for almost a year. The carers look after him with great compassion. He enjoys the food, so much so that we have had to buy some more clothes as he is growing out of his current ones! Dad loves going out in the minibus to local cafes and it is really good that he can have a regular change of scene. The home has the feel of a hotel and is kept lovely and clean. It is really nice to be greeted like a friend by the staff when we go to visit. It helps to make visiting much more enjoyable when you can talk to the staff.
Thank you so much for sharing your lovely feedback. We're delighted to hear that your dad has been happy with us at Edenbridge Manor over the past year and that he is so well cared for by our compassionate team. It's wonderful to know he enjoys the food and our outings in the minibus, as providing...
Especially the final 2 weeks of her time at your home.
The dignity and respect she was shown was a credit to all of those who cared for her.
As a family, we couldn't ask for anymore, Edenbridge Manor we would recommend 100%.
Thank you for your heartfelt feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly honored to have cared for your mother and are grateful for your kind words about the support she received, particularly in her final weeks. Ensuring dignity, respect, and compassionate care is at...
As much as I can see from my weekly visit that I make to see my sister I am confident that choosing The Avery last January has proved to be a good one. The building and its decor are bright and pleasant to be in. The layout is also spacious and the furniture is comfortable, with tv's in all the lounges and rooms. The staff at all levels show a strong compassion towards the residents and provide physical and sometimes emotional support. Entertainment is provided every day by the staff which is hugely beneficial to the stimulation of the residents. I do notice that tea and snacks are always available and good quality food is provided by the canteens. I have only one point to raise which is, with all the above that is available I would like to see a routine of exercise introduced that would help shed some calories if there is not one at the moment.
Thank you for taking the time to share your kind and thoughtful feedback. We're delighted to hear that your sister has settled well at The Avery and that you feel confident in your decision. Your comments about our environment, facilities, staff compassion, daily activities, and catering are...
The staff are amazing, mum appreciated the fuss they made for her birthday last month and is so happy and settled.
Thank you.
Hi, Thank you for the review on our lovely staff, we are so happy she had a wonderful birthday and feels at home with us, Kind Regards, CSM
The home is a truly lovely place and I was always confident that she was safe and comfortable, she made some lovely friends with both other residents and the staff. The staff, headed up with the new manager, are a great team, so happy and enthusiastic. I really believe Edenbridge Manor Care home was the very best next thing to my mum being in her own home and I will always be grateful to them.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review, Mum was a wonderful lady who will be missed by us all, Kind regards.
Edenbridge Manor is a lovely, welcoming care home. We visit a friend there every week. Our friend is well looked after, has the companionship of the other residents and enjoys taking part in the many activities organised on a daily basis. The staff are very friendly and caring and greet us as regular visitors. Our friend recently had a birthday and the home arranged a marvellous afternoon tea party for us and provided a super birthday cake. The home is very clean and is maintained to a hotel standard. Our friend appreciates her comfortable private en-suite room which is large enough to entertain occasional guests. Thank you very much.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us this lovely review. We are so happy you enjoyed your party. Chef's cakes are the best, so glad you enjoyed it. I will share your review with the team & look forward to seeing you again soon. Kind regards
From first contact the staff have been helpful and gone above and beyond to help dad get into a home a settle. Now the care and help he receives is so good, he is smiling and happy again.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We're so pleased to hear that our team was able to support your dad in settling in and that he's now happy and smiling. Its always our goal to provide compassionate, high-quality care, and knowing its made a positive difference means a great deal to us. Were here for both him and your family please don't hesitate to reach out if you ever need anything.
It's a lovely home! All the staff are really sweet & care about making genuine connections with residents and their families. The home itself has amazing facilities & is so clean. There's so much for residents to do, with daily activities and events, as well as lounges to relax with guests/other residents. It has a really homely feel & is a really lovely place to visit & spend time with family.
Thank you for your kind words and thoughtful feedback. We're so pleased to hear that you feel at home when visiting and that our teams care and attention are shining through. Creating a warm, welcoming environment with meaningful connections is at the heart of what we do, and its wonderful to know...
I moved my mother from another care home where she had been a resident for 18 months. The difference is night and day. Edenbridge Manor is so welcoming with many opportunities for Mum to get involved. Mum was in care following a complex fracture. In the other care home she hardly walked anywhere, in Edenbridge she walks everywhere. This is so much to do with the caring staff who Mum compliments regularly. I could ask for nothing more for Mum knowing she is happy, safe and so well cared for.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We're thrilled to hear how well your mum has settled in and that shes thriving at Edenbridge Manor. Its wonderful to know shes more active and enjoying the opportunities to get involved. Our team works hard to create a caring and supportive environment,...
The nursing home looks really lovely, great staff. It feels really welcoming and overall I had a great experience.
We are so pleased you had a great experience at the home, your kind words mean such a lot to the team, Kind regards
The staff are kind, tolerant and welcoming to both my mother in law and us as a family. The environment is clean, cheerful and almost hotel like in quality, making visiting nana/mum in law a pleasant experience for both the children and myself. The staff are so kind they try and encourage my mother in law to get the best of of all the different opportunities, of which there are many. She loves Bingo and movies. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're so pleased to hear that your mother-in-law feels welcomed and supported, and that your family enjoys visiting. Creating a warm, clean, and cheerful environment is something we care deeply about, so it's lovely to hear that reflected in your experience....
First visit - everything is clean, bright and airy. All staff are kind, caring and airy. All staff are kind, caring and very helpful. My grandad seems happier and is enjoying being here.
Thank you for your lovely feedback! We're so glad to hear your first visit was a positive one and that your granddad is feeling happy and comfortable here. Creating a clean, bright, and caring environment is really important to us, and it's wonderful to know our team made a good impression. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words to everyone involved, they'll be thrilled to hear them!
Mum and Dad went to Edenbridge Manor for a respite stay after Dad had a period in hospital. I can't speak highly enough of the home and the staff and the experience was so good that my brother and I would have preferred them to stay.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review. It was an absolute pleasure having Mum and Dad with us. We will be here in the future if you need us, kind regards.
