Cadley Hill View

I am so grateful we were able to get Mum back into Cadley Hill View care home from the hospital. The staff are so approachable, kind and compassionate as well as professional. There are always plenty of activities and entertainments which mum has appreciated in the past, even though she isn't currently well enough to enjoy them. Good standards of care and accommodation.

I have been to visit my friend today and what a lovely care this is. From the minute you walk through the door, to the end of the visit it is amazing. The staff are so friendly, I am not old enough yet (65, haha) but this is where I would love my son's to send me to make this my last home.

Cadley Hill View is in my opinion a home from home. The carers and all staff work very hard to take care of the residents in a lovely environment.

My father has been at Cadley Hill View for over a year now. In all that time the staff have been excellent and very friendly, making time to initially settle him in and now make sure he has everything he needs and is happy. He enjoys the quizzes, bingo and singers and especially enjoys wild minds (exercise). The staff are also friendly and helpful to myself and other family members and I do feel that there is a lovely family, happy feel to Cadley Hill View.

Before considering Cadley Hill View we looked around and it was by far the best in terms of providing an environment that felt homely for my mother-in-law. Since moving her in, on a two-week respite trial, the staff have all worked hard to help her acclimatise and make her feel she's at a home away from home.

My mother has recently become a resident at Cadley Hill View. As a family, we looked at a fair few rest homes before choosing Cadley Hill. Our initial impressions have been surpassed by the experience of my mother's stay. The atmosphere is very friendly and the ethos is of enabling and treating residents with respect and dignity. The establishment is very well run and my mother has settled very well. Many thanks to all staff and residents for making my mother feel so welcome!

Cadley Hill View gives me peace of mind and my brother is happy.

Absolutely stunning from the moment you walk in. Feels more like a hotel! The range of activities is awesome with in-house and trips out. The staff are amazing and so friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful. I'd move in myself if I could! It is so clean. If you fancy a tipple, then why not! They've got it. Life doesn't stop here and why should it?

The building and facilities are excellent. Sometimes parking is difficult. The staff, without exception, are cheerful, caring and helpful. We are always welcomed. Mum hasn't had many extra care needs, but when asked the staff always go the extra mile. It is early days for us, but I sometimes am not sure about the system i.e. ordering medicines so feel I've been a bit muddled, but I'm sure we'll sort that out. The carer on the top floor does seem as though she has a heavy workload. All in all, I feel happy with Mum staying at Cadley Hill View on respite.

Since my mum moved in, 6 months ago, I have had total peace of mind seeing her happy when I visit and knowing that when I leave she will be safe and well cared for. To me, this is priceless. Thank you.

Individual care staff members are polite and pleasant - however, there seems to be very little interaction just to pass the time of day with residents who don't take part in activities, such as just popping in to say hello or have a coffee with them. There is a lot of social media activity, but very focused on marketing.

I needed to find a suitable home quickly. I was offered a tour within 24 hours and the assessment, acceptance and move happened quickly and efficiently. I find all staff very approachable, easy to communicate with and very kind. Any requests are acted upon quickly and I find follow-ups to requests quite refreshing. Clearly the environment is amazing and my relative is very happy in her new home.

This was my first visit to the home, and it certainly won't be the last. The Halloween activities and decorations were just all amazing, and every resident seemed to enjoy it. The bedrooms as well; they are the most beautiful and spacious rooms I've seen. The overall home reminded me of a high-class hotel! Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff either and the care given is 100%. Would definitely recommend it to others.

I had power of attorney for an elderly gentleman and was lucky enough to find Cadley Hill View shortly after it opened. I was thrilled with this beautiful and very well-run care home. The staff are so attentive and caring. My friend was very happy there. Unfortunately, he had to be admitted to hospital before sadly passing away in August. Members of staff so kindly attended his funeral. I would recommend Cadley Hill View to anyone wanting a first-class residential home.

I have been at Cadley Hill View Care Home now for two months and love it. Care is excellent. Food is tasty. Lots to do and my family are made very welcome. Thank you.

My mother-in-law is experiencing a few problems at the moment, health-wise, and the staff are most supportive, understanding and compassionate, their efforts go above and beyond for her everyday care and her all-around holistic care is exemplary. Nothing seems too much and our whole family are more than grateful. Of late, the activities and spring fayre were excellent and all residents and families seemed to have a great time. Well done to all.

Excellent and professional service for both residents and families. Friendly, kind and welcoming. Facilities are excellent and always clean. All staff made my cousin feel at home at a very difficult time for her. Her needs and care were always catered for to the highest standards.

When I visit my friend every Tuesday and Friday at Cadley Hill View Care Home, the carers and the manager always ask me if I am alright. I have lunch every Tuesday and Friday. The food is excellent and always well-presented. There is always something going one.

I feel that it's like belonging to a family who looks after you. The kitchen team are excellent with the events they do, dressing up and taster days etc. I do feel cared for and appreciate how my family and friends are made welcome.
