My mother has been a resident at Charrington Manor since January 2025 and I am very pleased with both the care she receives and the support offered to myself. The staff are kind, caring and attentive. The home is well run with a variety of daily activities and the atmosphere is friendly. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We are delighted to hear that your mother is happy at Charrington Manor and that you feel supported as well. Our team takes great pride in providing attentive, compassionate care and creating a friendly, engaging environment for all our residents. Your feedback truly means a lot to us and will be shared with the staff.
The staff are patient and very caring. My mother enjoyed the entertainment and the hot chocolate machine. She liked her bedroom and that it was cleaned every day. Staff made great efforts to make her feel special on her birthday. Everyone was very cheerful and welcoming. I would recommend this home to everyone.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are thrilled to hear how happy you and your Mother are happy with our home.
My wife became a resident of Charrington Manor 18 months ago due to the escalation of her dementia which meant she could no longer be cared for in the right manner at home. From the outset she has been completely happy living at Charrington Manor and has nothing but compliments for the team as do I. She is kept animated through a variety of daily activities in house and on regular outings to local garden centres, shopping centres etc. Her appearance and personal care is very important to the team and she enjoys her regular manicures and hair styling. The quality of the food is always varied and delicious and they manage to find an excuse to serve tasty cakes and biscuits to the residents and their visitors on a daily basis with the addition of a cheeky Irish cream liqueur or sherry on a Sunday. She has never once complained about any aspect of her care and neither have I found any reason either. I too have been warmly welcomed into the Charrington Manor family and always enjoy my visits.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. We're truly delighted to hear how happy and well-supported your wife feels at Charrington Manor. It means a great deal to us that both of you feel part of the Charrington Manor family, and were so pleased shes enjoying the activities, personal touches,...
What really sets this home apart is the amazing timetable of activities. There's always something engaging and meaningful happening, from creative sessions and music to gardening, gentle exercise classes, and themed events. The team puts a lot of thought into tailoring activities to the interests and needs of the residents, and it makes such a positive difference in their daily lives.
We're so grateful to have found this special place.
Thank you so much for your kind words about our beautiful home. We are very proud to to offer the care and attention we do here at Charrington Manor and I know the team will really appreciate your feedback.
My mum has been at Charrington Manor 7 months now, and has settled in very well. She is mobile, active, but no longer drives and can be a bit forgetful. The team at Charrington have really got to know here well and helped her adjust to her new life. She was living with my dad, who is no longer with us, until very recently, so moving from your own home with your own garden, into a care home was a big step.
She particularly enjoys the social programme, which is extremely active and inclusive. Various different activities and entertainers , which she mostly enjoys. She also get to do the gardening whiz she has enjoyed all of her life.
If we ever have an issue (which are minor) the team at Charrington are extremely responsive and help immediately. I am kept very well informed even when I away. With the daily posts, I know more about what my mum is unto than I ever did.
Thank you to the team at Charrington Manor, I thoroughly recommend you to anyone
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review of our home. We pride ourselves on delivering the very best care and support and will share your feedback with all of the team. We are so glad that she has settled into life here at Charrington so well.
My mother has lived at Charrington Manor since 2022. I explored many care homes before choosing Charrington Manor and cannot speak highly enough of the care and support Mum receives within this loving & homely environment. The staff who I have come to know through their care and attention to Mum are exceptional, including the leadership of the home. I have witnessed joy, thoughtfulness, kindness, gentleness and dedication within their working days. Supporting and caring for vulnerable people demands a high level of practical skills and emotional intelligence; it is challenging on many levels and yet the Home Makers are always calm and smiling when they engage with any of the residents. Adherence to dignity and choice is key. The range of activities is extraordinary, inclusive of weekly outings. Mum loves the gardens and balcony. One of Mum's friends who visits other care homes, recognises Charrington Manor as the best and would be happy to move there themselves if the time comes.
Thank you your lovely words about Charrington Manor and the team. We pride ourselves on the safe and caring environment we create here and I know the staff will very much appreciate your feedback.
I can't recommend Charringtons enough and hope that Dad continues to live a very happy life in such a wonderful home.
Thank you for your kind words. We take immense pride in offering a warm and friendly environment for our residents and families to enjoy. Your feedback will go a long way in supporting the team and the work we do here at Charrington Manor.
This is a wonderful care home with very attentive staff and daily activities that keep everyone engaged and stimulated. Superb facilities and regular outings for those who are keen to explore local attractions.

My mother is a resident of Charrington Manor. The excellent care and encouragement she has received over the last 2 years has significantly improved her wellbeing from where she was when she first joined Charrington. As a family we have been pleased and impressed by the dedication and caring that is demonstrated by the staff at all levels.

Both my Aunt and Uncle had been residents of Charrington Manor for approx 3 years. Not only is Charrington welcoming, warm and extremely clean, so are the staff :-) !! The staff make it a great place to live and be cared for in later life. With excellent medical care, my aunt and uncle also enjoyed trips out and entertainers visits, plenty of activities to keep the mind and body busy, not to forget making good friends. Now that both my aunt and uncle have passed I will miss seeing everyone at Charrington regularly, both staff and residents alike. I wish to express my emense gratitude to everyone who makes Charrington such a wonderful place to live.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. We are truly honored to have had the privilege of caring for your aunt and uncle over the past three years. It means the world to us that they felt at home here at Charrington Manor and were able to enjoy not only excellent care, but also companionship,...
Our mother enjoyed a wonderful and happy time at Charrington Manor and she really viewed it as her home. She was full of praise for the exceptional staff and found the environment and entertainment so enriching, she never had a dull day! As a family, we were confident that all her care needs were more than adequately met and Charrington became an important part of our extended family.
Thank you for your kind words. We pride ourselves on delivering the vest best for our residents and will share your feedback with the whole team.
Charrington Manor was the best thing to happen to my Mum in her last years. From the moment I had the initial viewing, I just knew it was the perfect home. The staff are incredible - so kind and respectful and treated my Mum with such dignity. The entertainment was 5 stars - I so enjoyed everything I saw from singing and dancing to Kevin the Pony and the animal visits! The communication about Mum's health was always excellent. Simply put, Charrington Manor far exceeded our expectations and my Mum was incredibly happy there.
Thank you so much for sharing, we are thrilled to hear how happy you were with our home and everything we had to offer. It was a privilege to be able to support you all.
My mother recently died having spent the last two and a half years living in residential care at Charrington Manor. As her faculties deteriorated and she became less mobile and her eyesight deteriorated, the carers adapted her care plan and ensured that she was well cared for, safe and allowed to live with the dignity that preceded her faltering health and wellbeing. In her last few days, the staff not only looked after Mum but also ensured the family was supported too. Several of the carers were very special to Mum and over the years she formed good relationships with several in particular, that made her life at Charrington Manor a happy and fulfilled time.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review of our home. We pride ourselves on delivering the very best care and support and will share your feedback with all of the team.
From the day we first visited, when the building was not even complete, we knew that Charrington Manor would be perfect, and we were not disappointed. The dedicated team who knew my father so well meant that they could tailor their support to meet his needs, always with a smile. This has been so important to us, knowing Dad was in such good hands.
The range of entertainment on offer is varied and excellent, Dad really enjoyed joining in the singing. Not only that, but his interests were carefully considered, even having a go at indoor golf.
Whenever we visited there was a lovely welcome from all of the team who knew Dad really well, which we valued.
The very strong leadership, with high expectations and dedicated staff; CM will continue to thrive.
Thank you so much for sharing such a heartfelt review of your father's time with us at Charrington Manor. It was a privilege to care for him and to get to know your family over the nearly three years he spent with us. Reaching the remarkable age of 101 is an incredible achievement, and we feel...
Mum has vascular dementia and significant mobility challenges after recovering from her recent fall and we unexpectedly had to find a place for her in a care home setting at relatively short notice on discharge from hospital. Charrington Manor is beautiful with an immaculately clean, luxury finish and doesn't look or feel like a stereotypical care home. The manager is charming and very attentive and professional. She responded quickly to my various queries. All the care staff we met were warm and friendly and seemed gentle and respectful in their interactions with residents. The residents were up and dressed in the households we visited and seemed to be enjoying communal life. They were chatting and full of smiles. Of the numerous care homes I visited locally Charrington Manor is, in my opinion, definitely the best.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback about your experience with Charrington Manor. We understand how difficult it can be to find the right place for a loved one, especially at short notice, and we're so pleased to know that we were able to offer the reassurance...
The care and kindness my Mum and Dad have received at Charrington has been exemplary. All the staff are so respectful and needs are met swiftly and considerately. Any medical concerns are dealt with promptly and the family are kept fully informed of any changes. The activities are so varied and all are encouraged to join in and it's such a happy environment. Real peace of mind that their care is paramount.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a great deal to our entire team at Charrington to know that your Mum and Dad have received the care and kindness they deserve. We take great pride in ensuring our residents feel respected, comfortable, and well-supported, and it's heartwarming to hear...
The leadership team and all the staff were fantastic, I could not fault anyone.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt words. It was a privilege to care for your mother, and we are truly grateful that you felt she was looked after with care, respect, and warmth throughout her time with us. Knowing that she found friendship, laughter, and happiness here means so much to our team....
The team at Charrington Manor Care Home exceeded our expectations in all areas. The team are respectful, professional, kind, caring and everyone is treated like family. They integrate the residents which was not offered in a lot of homes. The activities are of a high standard and I love that photos are uploaded every evening, so you can see what your loved one have been doing. I can not speak more highly of the whole team.

As Power of Attorney of a resident of Charrington Manor Care Home for over two and a half years, I can honestly say the care has been excellent.
