Excellent service from start to finish. We needed to arrange an urgent admission for an elderly friend following a serious fall while on holiday, and the whole process was handled quickly, efficiently, and with great compassion.
Communication was clear and responsive throughout, and the team were able to accommodate our friend at very short notice. The management team were exceptional, and all of the staff have been warm, friendly, and welcoming.

The home is always clean, comfortable, and has a lovely atmosphere, making it a pleasure to visit. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for high-quality, compassionate care.

From the first time we contacted Lakeview Grange we have been absolutely delighted with every facet of what they have to offer . Every single member of staff from the Admissions Secretary , Jackie ( who has just won an award and very well deserved ) General Manager, Sean , the two lovely ladies on reception and all of the medical staff headed by Caitlin on my Mothers floor and catering staff are very professional , courteous and polite . The facilities are amazing , a lovely cinema , private dining which you can book for special meals . The entertainment is varied and well attended .It has a beautiful well tended garden for all to enjoy. We recently were invited to a lovely race day with Barbecue and Chichester City Band . Most of all my Mother is extremely well cared for and although she didn't want to move from being next door to us her circumstances dictated her needing more care than we could give her. All in all a seamless change and we couldn't be more delighte

Very happy with mum's state of care in Lakeside. When she entered she was confused, isolated, ill and going rapidly towards dementia. She was a new women within 3/4 weeks of care; both physical and mental care. She is very comfortable joins in activities and always dresses for dinner.

Firstly I would like to say that Lakeview was recommended by a friend whom volunteers there every Thursday and has been since it opened.
My mum is 87, has early onset alziemers bought on by a fall.Previous to that lived on her own and although set in her ways. She was independent with not many needs.
As a family we have realistic but high standards and therefore 100% recommend Lakeview
Mum in her words " There is nothing to moan about " It's like a hotel !!

The staff are extremely helpful and accommàdeting and nothing too much trouble Lastly there is a nice sense of community too which is lovely when visiting mum.

My father was a resident at Lakeview Grange for 3 years. Sadly he passed away recently but I wanted to write a review because the care and attention he received at Lakeview Grange for the whole time he was resident there was outstanding. What has stood out more than anything for us as a family is the dignity and loving care he was given. At Lakeview Grange the staff treat your loved one like family. Indeed when we visited dad we also felt the warmth and kindness from the staff.

We could not have wished for a better care home for my father in his final years. The surroundings are luxurious, the food is excellent and the entertainment available to residents is brilliant. I don't know how they do it but everyone from the wonderful maintenance guys, the gardeners the chefs, the receptionists -the whole staff are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

As a newbie to to this...I must report that the staff/crew made a very difficult situation a great deal easier..
I noticed that they gave Mum a while to settle in and then used their judgment.
For that I'm eternally grateful!

Could not speak more highly of Lakeview Grange. All the staff are incredible helpful and there isn't anything that is too much to ask for from them. The care senior Caitlyn is an absolute pleasure to deal with and is remarkable with all residents, supporting their needs and making them feel at home.
Lakeview Grange provide a luxurious home from home, the entertainment and food are incredible and the facilities are state of the art.

Most importantly, the staff treat all residents like family, the level of care they provide is above and beyond.

I visited my friend's mother on 10th February 26. In the morning I was so very impressed by the warmest of welcomes, I received by all the staff. The atmosphere at 'Lakeview' in Chichester was amazing! I waited in the lounge for a while and was so impressed by the kindness I witnessed towards all the residents! Especially one of the staff who was dancing and singing with a group of residents as they enjoyed a valentines 'singalong'. Lakeview is most certainly a luxury retirement home!

I remain beyond very impressed. My friend's mother is being looked after so so well. Thank you.

My father and stepmother's Medical Practice attend this beautiful Care Home, so it was the obvious choice for both of them after my father sustained an accident at home.
The ambience of Lakeview Grange is like that of a top quality hotel, the interior decor is of a very high standard and all the public areas, reception rooms, dining room and bedrooms are superb. You would never think you are in a Care Home, which is exactly what I wanted for my parents.
Sadly, my father recently passed, but I couldn't have chosen a better place for his passing, and now to care for my 99-year-old stepmother going forward. She is very happy at Lakeview, they always have a lot of activities taking place to keep the residents interested and occupied. The morning I bought them to Lakeview, there was a magician and in the afternoon, a musician playing the baby grand piano.

My stepmother is constantly telling me how wonderful all the staff members are, and how delicious the food is!

My father-in-law recently moved into Lakeview Grange, due to his dementia going downhill in the last few months.
It's a very difficult decision that the family had to make and I don't think you ever want to see a loved one go into a care home, but the staff have been amazing at Lakeview, especially Jackie & Josh.
They have handled the situation with empathy, care and above all else kindness to both my father-in-law & us as a family.
The facilities are amazing and it's a lovely environment for us to visit.
We couldn't recommend Lakeview enough, just listen to their advice.

Thank you from us all

My father moved to Lakeview Grange after a week in hospital. He has always been adamant that he would never move to a care home, but needs must.
He is very happy there, the home looks more like a five star hotel, the staff are very warm and have a lovely sense of humour. They even went to the trouble of introducing him to like minded residents-on my first visit to the home I found my father having lunch with three other residents. The food looked delicious and homemade.

Our experience of Lakeview Grange could not have been better. I am very grateful to them.

I ensure Lakeview Grange remains compliant with rules and regulations whilst ensuring that the residents’ experience remains a positive and happy one, ensuring that residents have access to daily activities and are able to pursue their day freely and with choice.

I have worked in care for 5 and a half years. I spent a year and a half as a Bank Care Assistant and then a Care Assistant before moving up to becoming a Senior Care Assistant for a year. Following this I was a Head Of Care for 3 years before I then made my move to Lakeview Grange to become one of two Deputy Managers.

In my role, I work with families and friends who are looking for a care home for their loved one. From the moment they make their enquiry for care to when they move their loved one into Lakeview Grange, I ensure their journey goes as smoothly as possible by supporting them every step of the way for a smooth transition.

I started my career in care as a retirement housing manager in Central London, and for the last 20 years, I have supported Home Admission Advisors with training in care homes across the country. In the last 3 years, I have stepped down from a regional role and decided to focus on just one care Home, hence my role at Lakeview Grange. I treat every family with dignity and respect and will go above and beyond to ensure family members receive the support they need in helping them to make the right decisions for, what can be a very emotional experience.

Born in South London and now living in Chichester with my partner. Between us, we have four children who have all flown the nest.

My family mean the world to me, and I try to meet with them as much as possible. Being happy with a positive attitude is my attitude to life.

My role involves creating a varied and exciting Activity Plan reflecting residents’ individual hobbies and shared interests, with daily physical activities (including ‘Zing’ our in-house exercises) and chances for new opportunities.

Maintaining old, and building new, relationships are vital, and we welcome visitors, volunteers and local groups.

Equally key for wellbeing is getting out whether in and around Chichester or using our accessible garden.

Activities also encompass cultural and religious beliefs, as well as National Holidays and events. As a whole Home, we will celebrate with fun ‘Theme Days’ involving food, music, art & craft and Fancy Dress and competitions.

For the last 7 years, I’ve been a Care Home Activities Co-Ordinator, where I completed my ‘Active Engagement’ Apprenticeship.
