Wilmslow Manor Care Home

The atmosphere at this Care Home is wonderful. All the staff from reception, management, and carers have been exceptional. My Aunty has been cared for with great kindness and respect and I couldn't wish for anything better.

Lovely facilities and atmosphere - amazing, kind, caring team. Nothing too much trouble and such understanding of the residents Very well managed and maintained. Lots of activities and effort made to include everyone.

My uncle is very happy and healthy at Wilmslow Manor. I'd highly recommend it! They have gone the extra mile to find him small jobs and responsibilities which helps him keep his mind active which is very important for his neurodivergence traits.

I was naturally worried when my brother was admitted into care at Wilmslow Manor but have been delighted with everything they have done. He is not only cared for but given friendly help when needed and encouraged to take part in the many activities they provide - he's been doing activities he's probably never done before and he is always telling me about what's been happening or where they have been on a visit. The staff are very welcoming when I visit and seem genuinely friendly and happy in their work. The private bedrooms and public rooms are all very clean and well-kept. I know he enjoys the food very much! When my brother had some health issues, as can happen as people get older, the care they showed was excellent and the liaison with the local GP has been very good. I would have no hesitation in recommending Wilmslow Manor to anyone looking for a friendly and safe place for any family members who need care. I would have no hesitation about going there myself!

Wilmslow Manor has such a warm, caring environment with wonderful staff who always greet you with a smile whether you are a resident or a visitor. Mum chose to stay on at Wilmslow Manor after staying there for respite, after being discharged from hospital. She didn't want to look at any other care home in the area as she was impressed with the level of care she was receiving. Her room is large and bright with direct access to the garden outside as she is on the ground floor. Her previous room on a different floor for respite, was equally large and comfortable. I would certainly recommend looking at Wilmslow Manor if anyone is considering a care home for their loved ones.

I did review the home in 2023 and my views remain the same. My wife has been a resident since May 2023. The care could not have been better. It is not easy to look after her because of her progressive Alzheimer's disease, but the personal care and help she has had has been exemplary. It is very much more than a care home at Wilmslow Manor. The residents are very much treated as they would be in their own home. They look at the individual needs of each resident. The staff are extremely kind and caring. I'm always made to feel extremely welcome when I visit as are my family and my wife's friends.

This really is a fantastic care home and exceptionally clean. The staff are lovely and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome when we visit. My Mother-in-Law is happy and very well looked after, which means my wife is happy. Win-Win.

So much better than we expected. We were very worried about putting my in-law into a home. But we are delighted with the care provided. Staff lovely and very friendly and competent. Couldn't want for more and my in-law seems very happy and settled.

My father has been a resident at Wilmslow Manor for over 2 years now. I feel he is very well looked after, with care, compassion, patience, dignity and respect. There are some absolutely wonderful staff there who have become like family and it's really comforting to know they don't use agency staff. Dad has a complex cocktail of medical diagnoses and his needs are well met. He's clean and well fed, I don't worry about him like I used to - as the staff keep me fully informed of any problems that occur. The food is good and, although Dad prefers to mostly eat in his room, the dining room is very nice with plenty of space. Within the dining room is a well-equipped kitchen where visitors can make themselves a drink, although staff are very kind and quite often offer to bring me a drink, which is very welcome. I would thoroughly recommend the home to anyone in need of care services.

We have always found the staff to be very helpful and kind. Although Mum has had difficulty settling in, she has found it very reassuring to have friendly staff that she can ask for help. The care home is very clean and welcoming. You can always ask for a cup of tea or whatever is needed.

Mum is well looked after by staff at Wilmslow Manor and she is treated as if she were their own mother. Mum is comfortable and settled and absolutely loves her spacious room. I am confident that staff provide the best care for her.

Fabulous care home. Such super friendly staff and lovely rooms, very spacious and lovely large ensuite. My mum is really taken good care of and loves it here. Good choice of meals every day. Extremely clean, 5 stars. Can't ask for any more.

In early 2024 we had to find care for my dad as Mum, who looked after him, had to be admitted to hospital. We chose Wilmslow Manor as we had heard that it was the best care home in the area. Sadly the hospital was unable to help her and she was also moved to Wilmslow Manor. We could not have asked for better care for her and the staff went over and above to ensure her passing was painless and very peaceful. Every single member of staff I met afterwards offered their condolences, even those I hadn't seen before. I will always be grateful for their care and kindness at such a sad time. Dad is still resident and he is comfortable and well looked after. The staff are all lovely, very patient, and caring - from the receptionists to the nurses and housekeepers. I would not hesitate to recommend Wilmslow Manor to anyone looking for residential care for their loved ones.

Mum has been a resident at Wilmslow Manor for 2 years now, and as a family we are extremely happy with the care and attention she receives. I have full confidence in the staff and management, their professional behaviour and decision-making. I feel involved and included in Mum's care and always welcome on my visits. Mum is very happy here and has quality of life, companionship, medical care and frequent activities (adapted to each resident's needs). The home is fresh, cosy, and extremely clean. Regular meetings are arranged to discuss ideas, feedback and future plans, so residents, staff and family members feel a part of the Wilmslow Manor family. Our opinion counts. My mum has been a resident for just over a year now and I can honestly say 'we are all thoroughly pleased with Mum's caring, they keep us fully informed of Mum's wellbeing and it's always a pleasure to pop in anytime to visit Mum'.

The care my Mum receives from all staff has been outstanding. My Mum's needs are unpredictable and the nurses and carers work very hard to look after her. The nurses regularly keep me informed of any changes to my Mum's health/care and GP/hospital appointments. The carers go out their way to dignify my Mum, by dressing her and styling her hair the way she would have done herself if she were able to do so. This gives me great assurance she is in the right place. The staff are very friendly, kind, caring and have good humour with my Mum which she enjoys. There are daily activities which my Mum can take part in if she wishes. The hospitality staff take great care ensuring my Mum follows a diabetic diet. The home and grounds are beautiful, very clean and well-maintained. As a family we wanted somewhere that was home from home for my Mum with high care standards and Wilmslow Mannor ticks all the boxes.

My husband has the best possible care I could wish for. The staff and facilities are superb and the rooms are very comfortable and well-equipped. I am totally relaxed about this which takes away the stress from me. Thanks to everyone at the care home.
