Wilmslow Manor turned out to be the best place for Dad. The staff were always attentive, kind, caring, and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure his comfort and well-being. Dad had a particular fondness for the Head of Care and the Team Leader who were instrumental in helping him to settle
in and his continued happiness there. We noticed an improvement after a very short time, Dad really perked up and was happier there than he had been in his own home. The fact that the staff turnover is relatively low was an important factor for Dad as he had dementia. It was also reassuring for us to know that Dad had people around him whom he liked and who cared about him. We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding care that Dad received. Dad was in Wilmslow Manor for 18 months until he passed away peacefully at home. The staff supported us during this difficult time as well as Dad and we are very grateful for their kindness.

We initially took our elderly and very independent mum to Wilmslow Manor for respite care, but it soon transpired that Wilmslow Manor was the place she needed to call home. From the minute you walk through the doors, you are enveloped by a wonderful feeling of warmth and calmness.
That feeling never
left us, the care and support Mum received was incredible.
Mum was initially on the dementia floor and all the staff were so engaging and wonderful with her. She was laughing every time we visited her.
After a stay in the hospital, Mum was transferred to the Nursing floor. They always seemed to know exactly what she wanted and needed.
Every member of staff cares, you can see it, you can feel it and it is something that I will always remember.
There are far too many staff names to mention, they are all like human sunshine and I feel so grateful and blessed to every single one of them for all the love and care Mum received.
Wilmslow Manor - thank you so much. You are the best!

Both my father and stepmother have spent prolonged periods of time in Wilmslow Manor Care Centre. I cannot praise the staff at this care home enough. The care and attention paid to the residents is exemplary and nothing is too much trouble. Residents are treated with respect and dignity and any medical
issues have been addressed promptly and professionally. I feel very reassured to know that my father is in very capable hands and that he is so well cared for. All areas of the home are immaculately clean (reception area, bedrooms, dining rooms and lounges) and the grounds are well-maintained. In addition, the home has a calm and relaxing atmosphere which I believe contributes to the well-being of residents and their families. Thank you for everything that you do!

I regularly visit my grandmother, I am always warmly welcomed by friendly staff members who are always quick to direct me to where my grandmother is. She is always very happy and is clearly being very well looked after, all staff members know her by name and know about her likes and dislikes, this is
a massive positive for myself and my family knowing all staff members are fully aware not only of my grandmothers needs but also what she does and doesn’t like. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and in particular, the manager they go above and beyond to see that all my grandmother's needs are met and she is cared for to an exceptionally high standard, I’d give 6 stars if I could, thank you so much to each and every member of staff for taking such good care of my grandmother

We visited the care centre to see our relative. We were immediately welcomed by the staff and directed to our relative who was drinking tea in the lounge. She looked settled and happy and very clean and tidy. We sat on the veranda and were given refreshments whilst we spent time together. We had dinner
together which was 3 courses and felt like a restaurant experience. Staff were so kind and attentive towards our relative and the other residents- their care needs first. It was a happy, calm environment. Thank you.

A really excellent care home, with good lounges, a good garden terrace and nice walkways. Good garden, and good food but would be better if more fish options were given. Also, I think you need to increase the amount of vegetables served and more variety!
Staff are very good and friendly but I feel
that you seem to be running slightly under staffed! I definitely would recommend Wilmslow Manor as an excellent place to place people in care.

Both my grandad and grandma are residents at Wilmslow Manor; they both have had such a positive experience. The onside team are wonderful, and nothing is too much trouble. Both Grandad and Grandma are extremely settled and content. Each and every member of staff has gone above and beyond to make them
feel at home; everyone is so caring and compassionate. It is without a shadow of a doubt, the staff that have put them both at ease and made them feel so content during the most difficult times. I don't feel the words thank you are anywhere near enough to express how grateful I am to all the staff at Wilmslow Manor. They have all been wonderful.

Quality of care is a must for the most treasured people in your lives and that is what you expect. At Wilmslow Manor Care Centre every person, from the reception staff to the team of carers, chefs, nurses, cleaners and to be honest anyone you speak with shows total respect for both your loved ones and

The team welcomed my Dad and given him a safe and comfortable place to live.


When the time came to pass on his care to people who are trained in his needs, the staff took control and knew exactly how to continue provide for him.

Mum moved to Wilmslow Manor Care Centre just over 6 weeks ago. She has settled in well. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. Mum enjoys the food, the staff are all caring, patient and polite. Everything seems to be well-run and efficient.

We chose Wilmslow Manor Care Centre for my mum after she had done 2 weeks of respite care there - we didn’t need to look anywhere else after that, as we knew this was the place for mum. The staff have been excellent. They are caring, as you’d expect, but they go further than this, you can see they have
a vested interest in mum’s happiness and well-being, and also in my family. You really feel part of the home when you visit, and can just slot into whatever they are doing. The ambience of the home is lovely, it feels calm and welcoming (with a hot drink and biscuit always offered!). Nothing ever seems too much effort for the staff, and I know mum is in safe hands. She looks well, enjoys her food, and seeing her smile makes me know we made the right decision in choosing the home. It’s a difficult time making the transition, but the home made it as simple and straightforward as they possibly could, and could not have been more supportive. Thank you to the whole team at Wilmslow Manor - you are amazing!

My father needed respite care following a big operation in February. Wilmslow Manor Care Centre proved to be the perfect place to help him recover and get stronger. The nurses and carers looked after him very well and the chef ensured he was provided with lovely gluten-free meals. I must also say thank
you to the manager and administration staff who ensured the transfer from the hospital went ahead without any problems.

My mother moved into Wilmslow Manor Care Centre one month ago. As you will appreciate this has been a very sad transition for a wonderful vibrant mother and wife. The carers and team leads have helped with this transition treating my mother with respect and care. I would like to recognise one carer
in particular for her amazing care and help to us, also the registered nurse who spent time talking to me with empathy and genuine care and understanding. I discussed with the manager my opinion on fees for care. I live in Toronto, Canada so making sure my mum is settled and my father is happy has been important. The care is my most important priority.

My mother-in-law was looked after for two weeks. Her care was excellent. She was talking better and more aware than when she went in. Food was beautiful. Couldn't find fault at all. She is going to have respite care again as she enjoyed it. The staff were faultless and extremely caring.

I joined New Care in 2018 after working for 15 years in Residential care. I was previously Deputy Manager and came to New Care as a Senior Care Assistant and then I was promoted to Head of Care in August 2023 I was successful and promoted to Deputy Manager at Grosvenor Manor in Chester, and more recently I have been promoted within New Care as Home Manager at Wilmslow Manor.


Where I am extremely happy and content. Person Centred Care is and always will be a passion of mine and being able to help promote independence and high-quality care always leaves me smiling. New Care is an excellent company to work with and provides residents with excellent care and staff with support and the chance to develop their careers. I have recently completed my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Care.

I officially started at New Care as a care assistant and swiftly advanced to the role of team leader before seizing the opportunity in 2023 to elevate my career to Head of care. Since then, I've immersed myself in the care sector embracing each day as a chance to learn and grow. My caring nature fuels my passion for helping others, particularly comforting end-of-life care for our residents. I find fulfilment in making a positive impact on the residents we care for. I have recently completed my level 3 in Adult care which has helped me gain a lot of knowledge in my current role.

I am the Wellbeing Co-Ordinator at Wilmslow Manor Care Centre. I have worked in Health and Social Care for the past 3.5 years, progressing to the position of Wellbeing Lead. I am a university graduate in Mental Health Nursing and am trained in Namaste Care. I have previously worked in retail as a Sales Manager and am able to use my transferable skills to manage and coordinate all aspects of my role, including creating weekly person centred activity programmes within the home. My passion is care and supporting both residents and their families through their own personal journeys will be key to my new role within New Care.
