Feel my mother is cared for by excellent staff. Great improvement since the current management team took over. Can feel a real difference when I visit. The whole team from reception to the carers always make me welcome and are very caring for my mother.

As I live overseas, this was the first time I have been able to visit my mother. My sister and brother are still local and are always visiting Mum. I found all the staff friendly, attentive, and great with the residents. They have plenty of activities to keep the residents active, and stimulated, which in my Mum's case is extremely important. We had a fun time visiting, my mum was happy and I felt very comfortable leaving her in their care.

My father was discharged to Wilmslow Manor Care home, from hospital. He'd been told he only had about 3 months to live, as he was very poorly at the time. That was around November 2023. The care home made a special effort to make sure there was a bed for him. Now it's January 2025, and he's still with us.
If it hadn't been for the care he receives from all the staff at the home I know he wouldn't still be here. All the staff, from managers, receptionists, nurses, carers, hospitality and cleaners go above and beyond what they're expected to do.
Everyone is very friendly, and happy to help out if you've got a problem or query.
Unfortunately, my dad isn't mobile, but the lounge is a great space for the residents to meet up. Either to chat or watch a bit of tv.

I hope it won't happen yet (fingers crossed), but I would be very happy to go into to a home such as Wilmslow Manor.

I can't say enough about the care my mum receives from the amazing staff at Wilmslow Manor, they put on events of which everyone is invited and are just fantastic for all the residents. My mum's face lights up which in turn lights my face up. Just brilliant. Every day!

An outstanding care home in every respect. The facilities, programme and especially the staff are absolutely first class. The decision to place relatives in a care facility is not easy but the whole experience at Wilmslow Manor Care Centre made things so much easier.

All of the staff from carers to hospitality to management were amazing at Wilmslow Manor Care Centre, from the moment my grandad arrived everyone made him feel welcome, safe and treated him with the utmost respect. They would always keep me and my family up to date and were always on hand to answer any queries we had. We are forever grateful to everyone at Wilmslow Manor Care Centre for giving my grandad the dignity and quality of life he deserved.

I have been visiting my friend since she moved into the home two years ago and have always been impressed with the staff who always make me feel welcome. The standard of cleanliness is excellent and the lounge and dining room are beautifully decorated and furnished but I think the bedrooms are rather dowdy and poorly lit. Overall, I think it is a lovely care home and I have visited several over the years.

Such a wonderful place. They accommodated my mum at very short notice and are doing the same now for my dad. The staff are amazing, they make themselves known by name so it feels like a very personalised service.

Spotlessly clean, they can't do enough for you. And all the team members are permanent staff so they don't rely on agency. That means my parents can build up a familiarity and feel comfortable. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

My grandad is a resident there when I've been to visit it is clean and tidy the residents always look happy and content the staff there are amazing. My grandad is very happy within the care home and has taken a shining to a particular staff member, he speaks highly of her which brings the family comfort I have personally spoken to her myself and seen how she is with my grandad and I can see how he has become fond of her she goes above and beyond.

My gran stayed at Wilmslow Manor for a short period of time whilst awaiting further assessment where she could be discharged back home. Her anxieties of moving into a care setting were very high, however, staff and the atmosphere at Wilmslow Manor reassured her almost instantly and she enjoyed her stay very much. The care my gran received was second to none and she was treated with the utmost dignity and respect which certainly made it easier for us as a family to leave her. I would like to say a special thank you to the care manager who was a very big support for me and the family and answered many worries and queries we had about Nan and her stay, she had such a caring nature and so much compassion which did not go unnoticed. Highly recommend this home to anybody looking to provide care for a loved one.

Fantastic place with fantastic staff - everyone says hello, (even when your parents are on a different floor.) You have to turn down the number of offers of a drink and if the staff can get you to join in an activity they will. A very well-run place where the staff smile!

Wilmslow Manor Care Home has been brilliant for my brother in law, who has lived there since December 2022.
They have accommodated his very specific needs in the most caring and considerate way possible. It is definitely a home from home for him and he is enjoying himself there.
The staff truly care about their residents and go the extra mile to ensure there is a positive energy about the place.

I am very grateful to the team there and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Wilmslow Manor to anyone considering a care home for their loved one - it is so much more than a care home!

Wilmslow Manor has been exceptional at seeking to understand Mum. The staff have observed and then come to me for clarity and understanding rather than assumption which means Mum gets treated with dignity and respect while getting all of her needs as well and have encouraged me to rest while they take care of Mum. Trust usually takes longer though with Wilmslow Manor I have complete trust and faith.

Wilmslow Manor turned out to be the best place for Dad. The staff were always attentive, kind, caring, and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure his comfort and well-being. Dad had a particular fondness for the Head of Care and the Team Leader who were instrumental in helping him to settle in and his continued happiness there. We noticed an improvement after a very short time, Dad really perked up and was happier there than he had been in his own home. The fact that the staff turnover is relatively low was an important factor for Dad as he had dementia. It was also reassuring for us to know that Dad had people around him whom he liked and who cared about him. We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding care that Dad received. Dad was in Wilmslow Manor for 18 months until he passed away peacefully at home. The staff supported us during this difficult time as well as Dad and we are very grateful for their kindness.

Racheal
Racheal Job Title:Home Administrator

I have had the pleasure of working at Wilmslow Manor Care Centre for the past three years, where I currently hold the position of Home Administrator. My journey with the home began on reception, where I first discovered my passion for creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

From the very beginning, I was drawn to the close-knit community that makes Wilmslow Manor so special. The residents, families, and staff truly feel like one big family, a place filled with care, compassion, and laughter. I take great pride in being part of a team that puts people at the heart of everything we do.

One of the things I enjoy most about my role is meeting people each day and seeing the genuine smiles on our residents’ faces. Knowing that they are happy and well cared for brings me a real sense of fulfilment. The variety of my role means no two days are ever the same, and I am constantly learning and developing new skills, working closely with our Home Manager and supporting him to provide the best service we can possibly offer to all our residents, families and friends.

I feel incredibly fortunate to work for such a supportive and caring company, surrounded by colleagues who share the same passion for making a difference in people’s lives. Being part of Wilmslow Manor is more than just a job for me — it’s a privilege to contribute to a place where kindness and community truly thrive.
