Our original plan was for mum to stay at Kailash Manor for a month for respite care. Due to her existing health conditions this turned into palliative care. I would like to praise and thank the staff for the way they treated mum and the family. Full of love, compassion, kindness and respect. All the staff were lovely. The nurses in particular treated us with such sensitivity at a difficult time. I felt mum passed away in peaceful, comfortable and dignified surroundings. A big thank you to all the staff.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt message. We are truly sorry for your loss, and our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.It was an honour to care for your mum, and we are deeply touched by your kind words about our team. Providing compassionate, dignified, and...
I have been a resident since 25/07/2024. Since I am both mentally and physically fit (91 years) it has taken time to adjust. However, over these few months I am settling down and praying with the care and support I am receiving from the management at all levels of the two as well as other staff members, I will be able to accept Kailash as my home and livelihood. I have had some issues with food; particularly dinner but with the help of management this is improving. Overall the management continues to ensure I am happy, comfortable, and approachable for which I am grateful.
Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We're so glad to hear that you're settling in and feel supported by our team. We're also pleased to know that the food issue is being addressed. Your comfort and well-being are our top priority, and we're grateful to have you as part of our community.
This is my last review as my Mother passed away a couple of weeks ago at Kailash Manor. As she became more frail in her final weeks the nursing and care staff seemed somehow to be even more loving and attentive to her every need, making sure she had no pain or discomfort, ensuring she felt loved and special in between our visits. They kept us sensitively informed about any downward deterioration, obtained a medical review when needed but did not over-intervene, and did not let her feel anxious about her condition. We really appreciated the way in which they also looked after us as a family before and after her passing. We feel very fortunate that Mum had her final two years in the most caring and high-quality home we could have imagined. Our thanks go to all the staff, and our love to all the other residents they are still caring for.
We're deeply sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt review. We're honoured to have been able to care for your mother and support your family during such a difficult time. Your kind words mean so much to us, and we'll continue to provide the same level of care to all our residents. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
My Father had the best 15 months of his life here. He was palliative but they extended his life by making him so happy.
He was very fearful of death and Kailash did everything to make him comfortable and happy.
They went above and beyond to help me and my Mum too.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're so glad we could make a difference for your father and provide comfort to your family during such a difficult time. Your gratitude means the world to us.
The nursing staff, particularly the night-time nurses, showed great kindness, professionalism, and unwavering dedication which meant a great deal to both him and our family. Knowing he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for him brought us immense peace.
From the small, thoughtful gestures to the attentive care you gave every day, the team went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable and at ease. We will forever be grateful for the support you provided, not just to him but to all of us as a family.
Kailash has a true family feel, and it was evident in every interaction.

Has anyone seen a "heaven"? Honestly, when I visited this home (now I am visiting this home regularly because my sister is there) I was astonished to see such a beautiful home, very, very clean. The staff are extremely very polite and very caring. The rooms absolutely spacious, clean, and tidy meeting all the necessary needs of the resident. The general outlook gives you the impression you are visiting an 8-star hotel. Though this home is based on a Hindu theme (there is a temple, and lots of statues of different idols of Hindu, gods and goddesses) many said items are everywhere. The food served is excellent and the residents are given a choice of food they love to eat bearing in mind their dietary needs. This place is a heaven.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt and wonderful feedback! We are truly humbled by your kind words and thrilled that you see Kailash Manor as a special place for your sister and others. Excellent care home, a nice comfortable home. Very high standards and service, Temple and activities. The availability of traditional food, homely atmosphere and caring staff give assurance that the resident is comfortable and enjoy their stay without worries. I think the prices are just too high, could be maintained at a reasonable price.
