Watermead Rose is a bespoke new care home, designed and equipped to deliver exceptional residential, nursing, dementia, respite and bariatric care.

The home can accommodate up to 80 residents and boasts 6 beautiful lodges set over three floors. Each lodge has 12 or 14 rooms and their own lounge and dining room, which makes for a peaceful environment of a small community. Each room has it's own en-suite and colour smart TV. The beautiful home features superb facilities throughout, creating an environment that’s conducive to wellbeing.

Well known for embracing diversity, MACC Care hope to establish a community at Watermead Rose which reflects the wider Leicester community and welcomes residents from all walks of life. The team are respectful of all beliefs and lifestyle choices and the home offers a multi-faith room for prayer, meditation and times of quiet contemplation.

The home has two separate kitchens, one specifically dedicated to preparing vegetarian and vegan meals, allowing the kitchen team to meet all dietary requirements and preferences. Wherever possible, the team work with fresh ingredients.

The home has lots of shared spaces too, including the garden cafe, the cinema, hobby rooms and a hair salon.

The home also has its own activities team who embrace the wishes of the residents by arranging meaningful one to one and group activities, which include carpet bowls, dominoes and scrabble clubs, flower arranging, quizzes, book and poetry reading, Bingo and fun keep fit sessions, to name a few. The home often welcomes community groups and entertainers to bring a variety of inclusive shows in to the home to celebrate different cultures and key celebrations throughout the year.

Previously poor experiences of carehomes for my sister who has complex needs. Kind, patient and professional staff who have helped to make my sister feel settled. My family were so anxious and now we have optimism that my sister can find some peace and happiness again. Our whole family (including my
dog) feel welcomed and supported. Thank you all. Oh, and the home itself is beautiful! Rated activities as satisfactory - not because of any fault. My sister hasn't been able to leave her room yet. The staff do provide activities for her, but she hasn't been able to access activities beyond her room yet. This should change soon!

What a wonderful care home. Although Mum was only in residence for around 3 months before she passed, I can not fault the level of care she received. Not only is the home beautiful and spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly, attentive and in constant contact with you regarding any health updates.
Mum was very low in mood when she arrived, having been moved a couple of times from other homes and had various rashes and sores, but within a couple of weeks of arriving, had been treated successfully for these and her mood improved dramatically. She loved the home and the staff who treated her with the utmost respect and dignity at all times and I only wish the home had been open around 3 years ago when I was first looking for a home for her. I will miss visiting the home now and feel the staff were more friends than just carers. I can't recommend this home highly enough!

When we arrived at Watermead Rose with my Mum and sister, we looked at each other and said 'Wow, this is amazing'. Straight away the staff made you feel welcome which was really good. The customer service was 10/10 amazing.

From the minute that my dad arrived at Watermead Rose Nursing Home, I felt that he was really cared for. All members of staff treated him with kindness, care and understanding. They really want to get to know my dad and are aware of his needs. Dad settled really well and this has helped me and my family
feel secure at where he is. Staff are very welcoming.

From my experiences when visiting grandma the staff were very accommodating for us and caring, they understood we were there to see her as much as we could around our work schedules. Sometimes meaning we came in the evening time. Often offering us cups of tea. Allowed a large group of us in the room
(family who don't see each other often) On the day she died they couldn't do enough for us and reassured us she was comfy to the end.

My grandma has been a resident here for a few months. Her mobility has been declining over the last year following a fall, and we've found it increasingly more difficult to care for her properly at home. After a stint at another care home, we were shocked at the standard of some homes in the area and
were determined to find somewhere she could call home as well as provide her with the care she needs. Watermead is perfect for her. Good location so we can visit easily, the bedrooms are stunning and the staff are all fantastic. She's very happy there.

My grandma was only at Watermead for a couple of weeks, but the care she received was exceptional, also we as a family were treated very kindly, nothing was too much trouble, even allowing a large amount of family to visit all at once. I will be eternally grateful for their care and compassion.

My mum, unfortunately, fell over Christmas injuring her hip and mobility in the process, as she lives in a different city I had to find a care home that had immediate availability for initial respite care to allow my mum to be looked after by care professionals in a safe environment. Watermead Rose
Nursing Home is a brand new facility in Leicester and the service we received from the initial conversation, and site tour to placing my mum in the care home on an initial respite, temporary basis, has been brilliant. The facilities and decor is ultra-modern and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. All the latest mod cons are available from luxury half baths to hobby/lounge areas and even a cinema room. The care and the support she has in terms of regaining her confidence and mobility has been very reassuring. She gets a wide variety of food and the cook works with the residents to make them freshly prepared food on a daily basis. My mum is now a permanent resident in the care home.

His approachable demeanor and willingness to listen foster a sense of community among the care home team, which ultimately benefits everyone within the care home's family.’


Outside of work, Jaime spends his free time with his loving wife and two daughters – enjoying quality time together and making the of the time when his daughters are young and active. He also likes sports and played basketball when he was younger.
