My son has been in Birchmere House Care Home - Avery Healthcare for over six months now following a series of strokes. He is very young at 58 but is treated with dignity and compassion. I know he is safe and very well cared for. All the staff are lovely and very professional. They care for my wellbeing as well as my husband's.

Came to coronation celebration. Had a lovely time celebrating with friends. There was a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Staff were very accommodating and made me feel part of it all. Great fun, very enjoyable. Staff went to great lengths to make it a special day with lovely food, drink and fun activities.

Attended the Coronation celebration on Saturday 6th May 2023. It was an extremely well-prepared and run event. Decorations were brilliant. Staff were so helpful and friendly, making sure everyone felt included.

What a wonderful experience for family to join residents. Staff kind and caring to all, made us as visitors feel welcome. Staff demonstrated in-depth knowledge of residents. Food was excellent.

What a wonderful afternoon. Staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. It was a great turnout and all the people seemed to be enjoying themselves. They had pushed the boat out and decorated lovely, moved chairs for family groups. There was chatter, laughter and music. I can't thank the staff enough for putting a big smile on my auntie's face. Hello there my name is Kerry I am the Well-being co-ordinator here at Birchmere House. I have the pleasure of working with such wonderful residents as well as family members and work colleagues alike.
My role is so rewarding, I honestly love what I do. We literally laugh here every day, the activity programme is vast and varied and covers seven days a week as well as 3/4 mini bus outings every week too. I like to refer to us as the Birchmere Family because that's exactly what we are, a little family.
