Tall Trees is a unique Cotswolds care home that has been expertly built from local stone to feel a part of the Cotswolds landscape, providing residential, nursing and dementia care to up to 60 elderly residents, including trial stays, short stays, convalescent care and long-term care for individuals or couples.

A number of nearby towns are within easy reach, including Chipping Norton and Cheltenham, for residents to use and maintain their independence, as well as to enjoy the natural beauty the area is known for.

With a highly qualified team that also undergo dementia training, each resident is offered the highest standard of care to meet their health and wellbeing needs. This training is also extended to the kitchen team, equipping them with the skills to cater for all residents, including those living with dementia or dysphasia, and promote a balanced, nutritional and, most importantly, enjoyable diet.

We have been so relieved and delighted to have found Tall Trees for our elderly mum. We looked at various homes in the area and it was the kind, understanding nature of the manager and all the staff that convinced me that this would be the best fit for her post hospital respite care, after initially
wanting to be back at home, mum has come to her own conclusion that life at Tall Trees is much more pleasant and now wants to stay permanently. This is amazing and down to the level of support, service and kindness received.

My father recently moved into this nursing home, and I couldn't be happier with how smoothly he has settled in. From the very beginning, the staff have shown exceptional care and kindness, making him feel comfortable and at home. What has impressed me most is not only the attention they give to my
dad, but also the way they include us as his family. They always take the time to chat with us, keep us updated, and share thoughtful feedback about how he is doing and offer proactive suggestions about how to best manage his increasing care needs. This has given us great peace of mind and reassurance.
The atmosphere here feels genuinely warm and supportive, and I am deeply grateful to the team for the compassion and professionalism they show every resident.

My father in law moved in to Tall Trees in September and we have been blown away by the experience that we have all had there so far. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely staff and there is constant care and attention on offer. We are lucky enough to be able to visit almost daily and feel welcome
and comfortable when we do so. There is a private lounge area if you come with a bigger group and we have even enjoyed the private dining room for a Sunday lunch together with all of our family. What is really striking though is the commitment to the individual and an understanding that every resident has a unique character and different needs - this is extremely well catered for. The management and administration team are responsive and helpful, especially at first when everything is new and confusing. When we were first considering Tall Trees I sent an email enquiry at 6pm one evening and received a callback that same evening, which surprised me. All in all its been a brilliant start.

My mother has been a resident at Tall Trees for over 2 years and at all times has been treated with respect and dignity. She has been encouraged to participate in group activities and also to continue, as far as possible, with her own interests; puzzles, knitting and crochet. Unfortunately with the
dementia progressing these skills are being lost.

Tall Trees looks after my wife for me very well. The care staff and the reaction and management are all very welcoming. The staff are all very well-trained and most importantly are kind and caring of my wife and the other residents. One carer in particular has looked after my wife for a long time. She

My mother continues to receive good care. Her needs have changed over the time she has been at Tall Trees and they have been well met. My only concerns are staffing, the frequent changing of managers and the difficulty recruiting suitable staff, eg, in housekeeping. I know existing staff often go above
and beyond their duties. It seems unfair on them to have to do this so often. They also need all equipment to be in fully working order.

My mother has enjoyed her stay here since her arrival in September. The staff here are extremely kind and efficient, treating Mum with dignity.
Last Sunday afternoon, the manager organised the use of the lounge for our family visit for two adults and a three-year-old great-granddaughter. So pleasant
in there, with more room for the little girl and pretty views outside for Mum, and a change of scene for her. Mum really enjoys the trips out that staff have kindly organised to a garden centre etc. The manager goes above and beyond!

I visit twice a week at least and have always found Tall Trees to be warm, comfortable and welcoming with professional staff who clearly care about the residents. My mum is always clean and well-fed and obviously happy with the staff and their treatment of her.

Tall Trees has been a lifesaver for my mum, who was unable to live independently any longer. From our first visit, looking around, to Mum moving in, we felt welcome and Muum settled quickly. The home is clean and tidy and the dedication of all the staff, carers, nurses, well-being team etc would be
hard/impossible to beat anywhere else. Communication regarding my mum's care and updates is excellent. I simply cannot imagine Mum being anywhere else.

Sadly, I lost my father on 25th August but the support I received on the day was excellent. His passing came on very quickly but a member of staff was with me right until the end and supported me afterwards, showing real compassion and care. Other staff members also gave me excellent support and treated

Absolutely delighted with the care provided by the Tall Trees team. Mum moved in after Christmas, with dementia. Our experience of Tall Trees went beyond all our expectations and Mum improved weekly, to the point it was possible to take her out for lunch. The quality of care and the friendly, helpful
team, gave us great confidence that we had made the right decision, however difficult. They genuinely love their residents with birthday cakes and activities in the lounge, they are a great team, who go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

“As Home Manager, I believe that our residents should be cared for as if they were a member of our own family and that we make each day memorable for them. I lead by example and involve myself in the day-to-day life of our community, as well as making Tall Trees a happy and enjoyable place in which to live and work.


It is important to me that we make a difference to the residents’ lives, providing exceptional care and supporting them to live their lives the way they want to, seeing them smile makes it all worthwhile.


I have worked in care for over 20 years in various roles.
