Everyone at the home are very welcoming and are always ready to answer any questions you may have. Everything is explained fully.
There are no restrictions on visiting and have a comfortable space with refreshments available whilst there.
The home is in a lovely wooded setting and has a calm feeling about it.
My daughter has been made very welcome and treated kindly in the week she has been here. She appears to be happy and loves the cat, which she is being encouraged to feed. I have eaten Sunday lunch with her and it was excellent. She has enjoyed the activities so far and looks forward to the organiser starting next week.
A lovely welcoming and friendly home. Clean and organised. I enjoyed visiting.
My mother moved in to Tall Trees about 3 weeks ago and we came to the social dog walk. Loverly walk and got to know some more of the friendly staff. Dogs enjoyed there treats! Loverly to come back and get mum in the fresh air. Even if only for a few minutes! Also good experience for our dogs. Good to inclued mum. Many thanks! Since my mum has moved in this has been relaxing!
My mother-in-law moved in about a month ago and has been made to feel very welcome and has settled in very well.
Grandmother Christine is very happy.
The staff and management are wonderful, couldn't ask for better food is wonderful and plenty of it. Rooms and lounge could do with a refurb.
We are so pleased to read that you find the staff, management and food to be wonderful. The staff hold themselves to a very high standard and this will be greatly appreciated by them as they continue their...
We have been so relieved and delighted to have found Tall Trees for our elderly mum. We looked at various homes in the area and it was the kind, understanding nature of the manager and all the staff that convinced me that this would be the best fit for her post hospital respite care, after initially wanting to be back at home, mum has come to her own conclusion that life at Tall Trees is much more pleasant and now wants to stay permanently. This is amazing and down to the level of support, service and kindness received.
We're delighted with how well your mum has settled with us here at Tall Trees, and so pleased that she's happy and wanting to stay. We appreciate your kind words and that you have taken the time to write us a review. Please let us know if there is ever anything more we can do to help.
The atmosphere here feels genuinely warm and supportive, and I am deeply grateful to the team for the compassion and professionalism they show every resident.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're so pleased to hear how well your father has settled and that you've felt included and supported as his care needs evolve. Your comments about the team's kindness, communication and proactive approach are truly appreciated and will mean a great deal to everyone involved in his care.
My father in law moved in to Tall Trees in September and we have been blown away by the experience that we have all had there so far. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely staff and there is constant care and attention on offer. We are lucky enough to be able to visit almost daily and feel welcome and comfortable when we do so. There is a private lounge area if you come with a bigger group and we have even enjoyed the private dining room for a Sunday lunch together with all of our family. What is really striking though is the commitment to the individual and an understanding that every resident has a unique character and different needs - this is extremely well catered for. The management and administration team are responsive and helpful, especially at first when everything is new and confusing. When we were first considering Tall Trees I sent an email enquiry at 6pm one evening and received a callback that same evening, which surprised me. All in all its been a brilliant start.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a fantastic review! We're happy to hear that your father-in-law is receiving such great care at Tall Trees and that your experience has been so positive. It's lovely to know he is settling in well and that you and your family feel welcome and supported...
My mother has been a resident at Tall Trees for over 2 years and at all times has been treated with respect and dignity. She has been encouraged to participate in group activities and also to continue, as far as possible, with her own interests; puzzles, knitting and crochet. Unfortunately with the dementia progressing these skills are being lost.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for your lovely comments about our home, as a team we are dedicated to ensuring all our residents are treated with dignity and respect and that they carry on enjoying their favourite hobbies and pastimes, so it is wonderful to see your mother...
Tall Trees looks after my wife for me very well. The care staff and the reaction and management are all very welcoming. The staff are all very well-trained and most importantly are kind and caring of my wife and the other residents. One carer in particular has looked after my wife for a long time. She is excellent.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, we appreciate your kind words about our team and the care your wife is receiving, as a team we are dedicated to ensuring every resident, feels safe happy and well cared for at Tall Trees, your feedback will be shared with the whole team including the carer you have mentioned.
My mother continues to receive good care. Her needs have changed over the time she has been at Tall Trees and they have been well met. My only concerns are staffing, the frequent changing of managers and the difficulty recruiting suitable staff, eg, in housekeeping. I know existing staff often go above and beyond their duties. It seems unfair on them to have to do this so often. They also need all equipment to be in fully working order.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for all your feedback about our home, the care your mother is receiving and the team at Tall Trees. All comments have been shared with the team.
In a world where there are many horror stories, it's refreshing to visit a care home that has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Staff are prompt and helpful with any queries as well as being friendly. Residents are all happy too.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for your kind words about our home, staff and residents at Tall Trees. Your feedback will be shared with the team.
Absolutely amazing staff at Tall Trees, who went above and beyond to care for my wonderful mother-in-law through the agonising final stages of life, treating her with dignity and respect. The manager and her team were professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring. Offering support, advice and guidance, as well as privacy when needed. We could not have asked for more. Thank you, everyone, at Tall Trees.
Thank you for your kind words and recognition of the team at Tall Trees. We are really sorry for your loss and we hope we made your mother-in-law’s time with us as peaceful as possible. Your comments will be passed on to the team.
Last Sunday afternoon, the manager organised the use of the lounge for our family visit for two adults and a three-year-old great-granddaughter. So pleasant in there, with more room for the little girl and pretty views outside for Mum, and a change of scene for her. Mum really enjoys the trips out that staff have kindly organised to a garden centre etc. The manager goes above and beyond!
Thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback about Tall Trees, Maria. It's great to hear that your mother has enjoyed her stay since she joined us and that the staff have been kind, efficient and treated her with dignity. It's also wonderful to hear that your family visit was a...
My mum is well looked after, the staff are very nice. I cannot thank the staff enough, they cannot do enough for her. Her clothes are ironed and she looks lovely every day.

We understand the importance of ensuring that our residents feel comfortable and at home and we are thrilled to know that we are meeting your expectations. I visit twice a week at least and have always found Tall Trees to be warm, comfortable and welcoming with professional staff who clearly care about the residents. My mum is always clean and well-fed and obviously happy with the staff and their treatment of her.
Thank you for your lovely comments about Tall Trees, the care your mum is receiving and the team at the home. The care and services we deliver as a team to our residents and families are extremely important to us. Your feedback will be shared with the team.
Tall Trees has been a lifesaver for my mum, who was unable to live independently any longer. From our first visit, looking around, to Mum moving in, we felt welcome and Muum settled quickly. The home is clean and tidy and the dedication of all the staff, carers, nurses, well-being team etc would be hard/impossible to beat anywhere else. Communication regarding my mum's care and updates is excellent. I simply cannot imagine Mum being anywhere else.
Thank you, Sally, for taking the time to leave us a review, it is wonderful to hear that your mum is settling in at Tall Trees and your lovely comments about the home and team. Your feedback has been passed on to the team.
My mother has been really looked after since moving here from her previous home. She has really improved, the care staff are good and spend time with her.
Thank you for sharing such a positive review about Tall Trees, Alan. We are delighted to hear that she has improved and that our care staff have been able to make a positive impact in her life. I will pass your comments on to the team.

Meet the Team (1)

I have worked within the Care sector since 2007, and during my time in the sector, I have covered all aspects of care, including dementia and nursing care. Since 2013, I have been employed at Tall Trees Care Home as a Carer, Administrator and then most recently, as the Business Support Manager. I took on the role of Home Manager here in 2026.
I have enjoyed working hard with the team to ensure that our residents have a meaningful and safe environment to call home. I also want to ensure that the relatives and loved ones are part of this journey with me.
I am proud to be the face of Tall Trees Glade and will be actively involved in getting to know our residents and working with the team to ensure I bring cohesion to the Home. At Tall Trees Glade, we are one family, and everything we do is from the heart, treating the whole people who live within our home as individuals - understanding their choices, wishes and dreams for one reason, to make a difference every day.
