On arriving for a visit, residents were in the foyer for a Halloween party. Staff were dressed up for the occasion. The atmosphere was amazing and all were joining in. The entertainment was good and my sister thoroughly enjoyed singing and dancing. A great afternoon was held by all.

The daunting experience of a family member going into care has been greatly alleviated by the kindness and consideration shown to all of us.
On visiting the home we are always greeted cheerfully by any member of staff we encounter.

The accommodation is attractive, light and spacious. Seating arrangements in the lounges are varied and there is seating at the end of corridors. This enables independence and element of choice for more mobile residents within the confines of the strict security arrangements. We feel an enormous relief because of the exemplary care, respect and kindness shown to all the residents.

My mother has lived in this care home for four months now and is very happy living here. The staff are second to none and the daily activities are brilliant. She has settled very well and the staff are lovely with her and encourage he to join in, she has made lots of friends and we couldn't be happier with everything. Highly recommend this care home. Thank you to everyone.

I was taken into hospital on Christmas Eve 2023. I have suffered a heart attack, fluid on my lungs, and kidney problems. When I came out it was obvious I couldn't live alone and care for myself. My 2 children wanted the best for me and they found it. My daughter wanted a real home where I would thrive. I have only been here 2 1/2 weeks but I love it. I have everything I need in my room with some of my own furniture, pictures and books and a lovely view although shops etc are not far. The food is very good and adapted as needed. The carers are wonderful and very loving. Money is not the centre, you are, whatever you need to be happy.

Mum has been a resident in Hartford Court for four months with her care being first class for that time. The staff have, without exception, been professional, caring, friendly and wonderfully understanding during that time. Mum can quickly become depressed and it is lovely to see carers of all ages doing everything they can to prevent this, normally through conversation or the use of activities taking place within the care home. Thank you!

I have been visiting a friend over the past six months and my observations are based over this time.
A care home can only achieve that status from those that work there and I can put my hand on my heart and say care is indeed in abundance.

Not even the best cruise lines have a one-to-one ratio of passenger to crew member but Hartford Court Care Home voyage of care and support is very evident and of a top cruise line standard!

My father found the transition to residential care very difficult for the first few weeks. The staff were brilliant, without exception. They have encouraged him to interact with other residents and take part in the activities, which he now does.

From first visit, when considering care provision, dealt with by very friendly, approachable management staff. At Dad's initial assessment, felt like Dad was treated with dignity and that his personal wishes would be considered as far as possible. Transition of moving from hospital was made easy and with minimal fuss which was important for my dad as he was suffering from delirium. Have found all staff we have had contact with, in three weeks since Dad arrived, extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating which gives us peace of mind of what has been a difficult time for us. Dad is settling in and I hope he will eventually benefit from joining in some of activities on offer for more stimulation. His choice to refuse at the momement.

Having experienced a couple of care homes with other relatives, I'm absolutely thrilled that I was able to secure a place in Hartford Court for my mum. The staff do a job which requires patience and a pleasant attitude, all of them I've met I feel they have all these qualities. I'd recommend the home to all my friends and family, knowing they too would be happy.

My sister has her husband in Hartford and as my husband's health was declining I was worried how I would cope. Watching my brother-in-law and how happy he is, how kind the staff are my mind was made up. Best move ever, my husband is happy and well cared for. Lovely home, with a warm family feeling. Great staff. Thank you!

My mother-in-law has recently become a resident at Hartford Court. The staff there have ensured that she has settled in well. She feels safe and well looked after and has been encouraged to join in with the many activities on offer. My mother-in-law is now regularly joining in and chatting to other residents. She was delighted to have her hair and nails done and loved all the singing activities. Seeing my mother-in-law so happy has brought peace of mind to the family. There is always a very warm welcome from staff when we visit and they go out of their way to meet any request.
