The staff listen and take note of how things can be marginally be improved, as they are already extremely very good. A visit is always possible and recommended for anyone thinking of a residency.

My husband has been here for almost a month. He said the other day "I am pleased you found this place. They are friendly and meet my needs." He likes the food too - he needs a special diet. I am pleased that he has a male carer.

Dependent on carers, I feel happier with care provided for my mother. The food choices need further options and variety. If certain members of staff are available I feel better care is provided. The place needs updating with some new equipment, beds, curtains, cupboards, would be beneficial.

First impressions count. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The home was cosy and clean and bright. My sister's room is bright and clean. The home seemed very secure.

Albany Lodge is one of the modern, nice places for elderly people. More importantly, the quality of care they provide for my Dad is fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful, particularly when you want to know how my Dad's day went. May they continue to provide quality care always.

A matter of real concern still continues - our mother's underwear that keeps being damaged, seemingly in the washing machines? As she is a private resident, the home does not provide replacement underwear. As this happens so often and not all her underwear can be accounted for, is this not time for the senior management of this company to get involved to remedy this bad practice?

Having been here during several changes of management, it is hoped that benefits will be understood and planning will ensue.

Mum has been at Albany Lodge since March this year and I have been very impressed with her care here. The staff are very professional and friendly and treat mum very well. I would have no hesitation in recommending Albany Lodge. Maybe a few more activities for the residents would be good but otherwise, thank you Albany Lodge, for all you are doing for mum.

I am very sad that my husband has to be in a nursing home but I know this is the best place for him. He is well looked after and I know he is safe.

My mum is happy and content in the home. The staff are friendly, supportive and caring, particularly the nursing staff.

I am a resident here now, having recovered strength etc. I care for myself in the knowledge that the necessary care is available if necessary. Everyone is extremely kind and helpful. The cleanliness here is outstanding. The food, on the whole, is good, helpings are generous and kitchen staff always helpful.
