Today I was present for my grandad's ward run. The doctor was very pleasant, with a happy disposition. My grandad was very responsive to him and they both exchanged genuine smiles during the time.

The doctor was proactive in checking Grandad's chest, suggesting appropriate care and prescribing meds, which was good, given I had noticed Grandad to be quite chesty during my visit.

Sadly mum passed away on the 10/12/17. I can't speak highly enough of the staff who cared for mum. The carers were outstanding with the care and kindness they gave mum.

Thank you very much from all of our family to all the staff and management.

My brother has been here for almost 10 months. During which time we have noticed a good improvement both physically and emotionally. The staff have been very helpful to me and my other brother when we visit and where my brother is concerned they are extremely kind and spend time chatting with him. He is now using a Zimmer Frame and walking which is fantastic.

Thank you so much, Albany Lodge, knowing he is looked after and cared for is so comforting.

Members of staff very helpful. Good customer service from reception. The establishment is kept clean. My husband is well looked after and appreciates all the hard work of all the workers, and that put my mind at rest. There could be more activities e.g. Exercise classes or board games. To all members of staff, a personal Thank You for all your hard work.

Basic care is good and the home both clean and tidy. However, the interaction between staff and residents is poor. Those residents who spend all or most days of their time in their rooms are isolated. The manager is rarely seen.

Having no previous direct experience of care home living ~ I came here in November 2015 from 2 days in hospital following a collapse at home. Rather than my return to living alone my daughters contacted management of this nursing home who hastily arranged to meet us at the hospital and a 6-week 'respite' at the home followed. It was subsequently extended to ensure care and attention appropriate to my needs and family wishes.

The care home which my dad is in is very helpful. Staff and the room he is in is very tidy and clean. There is a great thing for my dad to do and the food is also great to eat, eg. The activities. My dad is very happy here.
