Hi, I'm Cindy!
I am a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in care home and hospital management. I am passionate about delivering high-quality care, as well as being dedicated to improving the lives of residents.
My philosophy centres on the belief that compassionate care has lasting rewards. Outside of work, I enjoy Gospel music, spending time with my children, and draw inspiration from my Christian faith.
My name is Lea, and I work as a receptionist here, at Albany Lodge Nursing Home. Although I have only been with the team for four weeks, I have enjoyed working alongside such kind and lovely people each day. Meeting all our lovely residents is such a joy.
I have had a long career within the care sector for over 20 years. I started my career in 2003 as a health care assistant and then became a carer. I then went on to be an activities coordinator. I have worked and studied hard to work my way up the ranks, such as senior healthcare assistant, and then become a team leader.
After many years in different roles within the care sector, I became a receptionist/administrator, which I really enjoy.
I have worked in Albany Lodge Nursing Home for many years and the reason why I love it here is down to the camaraderie of my colleagues and residents alike. The home is warm and friendly, creating an amazing atmosphere for all that live and work here. My focus is on maintaining the hygiene of the home, keeping all areas clean and ensuring the well-being of residents and staff.
I take great pleasure in creating and presenting amazing dishes for our residents. The satisfaction I receive whenever I hear a resident say they enjoyed the food is indescribable. I believe that the way in which food is presented plays an essential part of the residents' health & well-being. With much confidence, I can say I love my job!
