The close cooperation by Carlton Court with Hospitals was truly impressive, this over a period of four days when my mother had pneumonia. My mother has been happy with her care throughout and often mentions how gently she is treated. The care team in particular are unfailingly polite and responsive concerning transfer from wheelchair to bed at weekends.
Dear Andrew,

I was very impressed with Carlton Court. My father chose to move into a nursing home when his mobility needs became more than his carer could handle. He was aware that he probably wouldn't be here long. But the staff made his stay as comfortable as possible, always encouraging him to get up and get out his room. They put on a lovely party for his 102nd birthday which was a lovely surprise to me. And it was a fun afternoon. I am very grateful to Carlton Court.
Thank you, Ros, for taking the time to share your kind feedback about your father's stay at Carlton Court.

We found the home clean and the staff friendly, however in my opinion the palleative care given to my mother was not adequate. She was there less than a month and I had to email twice to request that they check on her more often because so was so unwell and frail. They said they would look into it but nothing changed and as a result, mum was left to die alone.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations and offer our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother.
Following a thorough review of your mother's care, we can confirm that our team was present with her during...
My father was here for a very short time, unfortunately he passed away in hospital soon after he arrived. Staff here have been so welcoming and supportive. I felt his needs where completely met and at such a high standard. Carlton Court is a wonderful place with excellent people.

My wife and I cannot fault the warmth and sincere approach shown by all staff after the admission of my dying father to the home. He was attended to most professionally by all. We were however, somewhat disappointed that it was at least 2 days after his death, that verbal confirmation was provided to us that his body had been transferred to the undertaker. To note that his death did occur over a bank holiday weekend but your internal systems (including attendance of GP) to certify death should accommodate holiday periods.
It is comforting to know that you experienced the warmth, compassion, and professionalism of our...
Linda was only resident for a short time, but it was clear that the home provided an exceptional service for residents - based upon very friendly, helpful, and competent staff. Who always went the extra mile!

After 5 weeks in hospital I was moved into Carlton Court. The staff were so friendly & welcoming. My room was very good, comfortable & staff made sure I had all I needed for my stay. It was a difficult period in my life. I was here for 3 months & in that time the staff made sure that I had everything I needed. Apart from the pain etc it was like a holiday. In the 3 months I started to feel like my old self & I was very sad to leave & go home to an empty flat. I will never forget my stay & all the help they gave me.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful review. We are truly delighted to hear about your experience at Carlton Court.
It was our privilege to support you during what we know was a very difficult period in your life. We are so pleased that our team made you...

Our dear friend sadly passed away in hospital at the weekend after nearly 8 years as a resident at Carlton Court. In all that time he has had the most amazing care from everyone at the home. All the staff are so very kind and have looked after him so well - he could not have had better care.

Has to be the nicest care home that we have seen. Mum has been here almost 6 weeks and not once have I made a complaint, found fault or even had a slight clash with anyone, that goes for all levels of staff. They have such dignity, amazing manners, accommodate any queries/enquiries etc. The place is immaculate, staff are very well presented and so helpful & friendly - def a place I would want to be when it's my turn.

My mum loved at Carlton Court Care Home for 5 months until she sadly passed away. She was unwell at arrival and all the staff went out of their way to care for and nurture her which improved the quality of her life. We were comfortable in the knowledge that she was safe and secure and receiving the best possible care. The home was spotlessly clean, the food varied and nourishing and all the staff were extremely friendly, kind and efficient. My mum's appearance was always very clean. Everone who visited her were very impressed with the home. We would highly recommend this beautiful home.

Meet the Team (5)

I completed my Bachelor's degree in nursing in India in 2008 and worked as a Paediatric nurse from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, I came to the UK and started my Master's in advanced nursing whilst studying and working as a unit leader in a care home. In 2011, I was promoted to a Care Coordinator, and then in 2014, I was again promoted to Deputy Manager.
In 2022, I was then promoted to Home Manager. I am extremely passionate about care and looking after our elderly residents, so getting the opportunity to support and guide on their journey to outstanding was a huge privilege.

I’m excited to join TLC Carlton Court Care Home as Care Service Manager. I completed an MSc in Nursing and Healthcare in 2015 from the University of West London. After my university, I have worked as a Supervised Practice Nurse and acquired my NMC registration in 2017. I have experience working in the NHS and Adult Social Care settings in various roles. I have also accomplished my TQUK Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care with distinction in 2023. I am very passionate about the nursing workforce, their contribution and development in Adult Social Care settings. I am a council member of London’s Social Care Nursing Advisory Council (SCNAC), FNF (Florence Nightingale Foundation) alumni and NCL Internationally Educated Nurses (IEN) ambassador. I am a recipient of the Chief Nurse Award 2024, presented by Professor Deborah Sturdy, Chief Nurse for Social Care.
I have worked as a Unit Manager in TLC Carlton Court in 2022, and now I have returned to the TLC family at Carlton Court as Care Service Manager. I bring experience in problem-solving, leadership and teamwork, and I strongly trust in forming a positive and productive work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated. I have profound compassion and empathy as an advocate for residents to achieve positive outcomes in their lives with a commitment to lifelong learning.

I have over 15 years of experience in the hotel industry, having worked across five countries and gained a strong understanding of hospitality and guest experience.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of hospitality settings, from pre-opening projects to different hospitality concepts, which has allowed me to adapt and grow within the industry.
I am service-focused and always look for ways to make a meaningful impact in everything I do and with everyone I meet.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling and exploring different cuisines and cultures. I also have a keen eye for art and create digital pieces inspired by “art with a message.”
As I begin my journey in the care and nursing sector for the first time, I’m excited for this new chapter and look forward to making a positive contribution.

I joined TLC Care in 2018, working across Karuna Manor, Kailash Manor, and now Carlton Court. From the very beginning, I embraced the organisation’s values and culture. What stood out most to me was the strong sense of community within the team.
I have 13 years of experience working in the Care Sector. I started my career as an Admin Assistant and have progressed to my current role as Business Support Manager. My role is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the home’s administrative and financial systems. Alongside my compassion for care, I am committed to providing the best possible service and well-being to our residents, team members, and relatives.

I am Josh Skariah Chennakkattu, and I am the Office Manager at TLC Carlton Court Care Home. I joined the home in 2023 as a General Assistant, progressed into the Customer Service Supervisor role, and now proudly support the home as Office Manager.
Working in the healthcare sector is my passion, and I take great pride in supporting our residents, their families, and my team members every day. I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specialising in Healthcare Management, from the University of Roehampton. Before joining Carlton Court, I worked as an accountant in both India and Bahrain.
I am passionate about creating a warm, positive, and welcoming environment where residents and team members feel valued, supported, and cared for.
