My sister has been at Carlton Court for just over 3 weeks. The staff and management are wonderful, very helpful and extremely kind. They take great care of all their patients and are very good with their family members. It has been a great relief to us as a family that my sister is very happy, looked
after by caring staff. I highly recommend this care home.

Three members of staff on the second floor give excellent care to my mum who can sometimes be quite challenging they are very patient, kind and caring not only to my mum but to me when I get upset. You should be very proud to have these ladies on your team.

Carlton Court cared for my mother for only a short time and it was a difficult time as she had dementia and didn't really understand what was going on. The staff were very patient with her and we as a family were able to leave her in the knowledge that she was being cared for and safe. Sadly she passed
away before she could really take advantage of the new dementia floor which I am sure she would have benefited from. The activities the staff arrange are marvellous and they try to include everyone.

I have a neurological condition making my muscles weak. I fell and broke my ankle and I needed care whilst my ankle healed. I have received excellent care here and my ankle is healing well. I would recommend Carlton Court Care Home. It is a lovely place with friendly professional staff.

Dad has such a wonderful time at Carlton Court. He raves about his big breakfast each day and all members of the family love to raid the cakes in the lobby.
His grandchildren come and eat cake and play at the hairdressers.
There is a great range of activities to take part in and they are great at
getting Dad to participate.
It is nice that all team members take the time to learn who all members of the family are.
The only thing to make it better is to get emails when Dad runs out of toiletries or to walk to the shop with him to buy personal care items.

My mother has been at Carlton Court since March 2017. In that time she has received what I consider to be excellent care for her requirements. If there are any issues to be dealt with the staff will always contact me to advise and assist. I can ask no more. They are polite, courteous and helpful in

I have been delighted with the kindness, professionalism and efficiency that I have encountered with, both the introduction to Carlton Care Home and the subsequent care my Husband has been receiving. Every effort has been made by all members of staff to make his life untroubled and comfortable. Family
and friends have also been made welcome. I cannot recommend this home too highly.

The improvement seen in my 91-year-old since arriving at Carlton Court has been remarkable. The staff have worked hard to understand her needs and to focus on the important things first. Thoroughly impressed with everyone from the most junior member of staff to the managers.

My mother spent a month convalescing at Carlton Court, following a stay in hospital.
She had some issues being away from her home environment, but the excellent care of staff in Carlton Court helped her rebuild her confidence and strength and she has come home stronger and more positive than ever,
armed with many helpful strategies to improve her life.
The break gave me some much-needed respite too.

My Mother-in-Law arrived from a 19-day spell at an NHS Rehab facility following a fall and a bleed on the brain. This had caused short-term memory issues and mobility problems. She came to Carlton for a month's respite care while a wet room was built at her home. She arrived having been institutionalised
for a month so it was lovely for her to be in a comfortable environment where she was treated like a person rather than a patient.


Her self-confidence has been growing and her mobility issues are much improved. The staff continually work with her to improve her mobility and to get her ready to return to her home.


Although keen to go home, naturally, she is happy with her stay at Carlton. The staff have taken time to get to know her and also her husband who visits her daily.


It is a comfort for the whole family to know she is being well looked after in a safe environment.

Calrton Court Care Home in Barnet has some wonderful staff who looked after my Father in his last days with great care, always respectful of him and his needs. The home was clean, the food was excellent and the nursing and other staff wonderful not only to my Father but so kind to both myself and my
brother. Thank you to a nurse who looked after my Father and the other nursing and care staff. Also, the administrator at the care home was extremely helpful and helped us enormously. Thank you to all of you.


I would definitely recommend this care home to anyone who wants a clean, well-organised, caring place run like a home-from-home with kind, friendly and very professional staff. Perfect for elderly people who can no longer care for themselves.

Upon a brilliant introduction, we decided to admit my father to Carlton Court Care Home. Upon arrival, the staff were very welcoming, management were present and made sure my father and family were taken care of. They were very sensitive and attentive and gave comfort and advice to my mother and I.
The care team and nurses are excellent. Most are energetic and emit positivity towards the patients but some I feel are overworked, underappreciated and tired. Despite this, I feel that my father is receiving excellent care and his needs are being met.

Continued staffing problems - particularly at night - resident support and supervision very poor at night.
A year on and still unable to manage pad provision.
A succession of disengaged and poor management.
Poor communication.
Poor complaint handling and resolution.
Lacks transparency and poor
record keeping.
A very costly and upsetting experience - again.


Plus - good food, some good carers (badly supported), newly redecorated (lounge furniture badly positioned for wheelchair and those needing hoisting).

My mother has been in Carlton Court for two years and this is the second home my mum has been in. I find Carlton Court to be an extremely good care home as my mum lives with dementia. I find the staff extremely kind and helpful and feel the staff are friendly and approachable and above all caring.
The management team are approachable and caring. I would recommend this care home to anyone.

I posted my 1st review in 2015. My partner has now been living in Carlton Court for 2 years.
Carlton Court really is an amazing care home. Both staff and management are very approachable and available to talk through any concerns I may have, and act on them promptly. They do everything in their
power to make my partner happy and comfortable. I visit on a daily basis and feel this home is happy and welcoming. The staff know the residents so well and understand their likes and dislikes.


I can't recommend this care home enough .... 5 ***** from me.

I completed my Bachelor's degree in nursing in India in 2008 and worked as a Paediatric nurse from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, I came to the UK and started my Master's in advanced nursing whilst studying and worked as a unit leader in a care home. In 2011 I was promoted to a Care Coordinator and then in 2014, I was again promoted to Deputy Manager.


In 2022 I was then promoted to Home Manager. I am extremely passionate about care and looking after our elderly residents so getting the opportunity to support and guide Cooperscroft on their journey to outstanding was a huge privilege.
