My mum has been treated with complete care and dignity. The staff are always cheerful, helpful and trying to help both mum, my dad and I. I would and have already recommended the care centre to others.

Dad came in for respite, we were extremely pleased with his care and the conscientious staff.

He is happy here, also and we as a family are happy for him being here. We have now decided for him to be a permanent resident. It has taken a lot of weight off our minds that he is being looked after properly.

My husband was transferred from a local to Romford Nursing Care Centre following a change in his behaviour. It was rather an emergency at the time. I returned from a much-needed respite to find that our circumstances had definitely improved for the better. Upon arrival, my husband cooperated with the manager and nursing staff, received a high level of ongoing care and within weeks became much calmer and settled. The unit has a real 'family' atmosphere with plenty of laughter and interactions. After many years of requiring protective pads, my husband no longer uses these as by some miracle he now has control over his bladder and knows when to use the toilet!

The rooms are spacious, as is the whole building. There is lots of light, with a relaxed feeling to the place. The staff are very friendly and seem efficient, and interact very well with the residents and visitors. The food seems good and the overall atmosphere is congenial. Some (minor) niggles; the underside of the table that swings over the bed had sticky "deposits" on it. This was dealt with quickly when I pointed it out. The bed buzzer brought in was similarly dirty. I cleaned it. There were other small "deposits" here and there which I cleaned up. There has also been a conflict in some of the information given by different staff members, but we are getting this sorted out. On the whole, it's pretty good here. Thank you (my mum has been here for less than a week so far).

Since mum has been in this home in June 2017, she has improved a lot in herself. The staff and carers are wonderful, she can chat with all the nurses and carers that help her. It really makes a difference that all the staff in the home, from the domestics, chefs, carers and everyone helps with what mum can do to make her stay more enjoyable.

Very pleased with the care for my dad. Staff are very pleasant and helpful rooms are very spacious and the residents make their rooms a home from home. There seems to be a lot of functions ie. fetes, bingo etc.

All in all, you seem to get an atmosphere of this care home. It is a lovely place to be and I am more than pleased, as is my dad, which is the most important thing. Thanks to all staff for making our dad comfortable.

Only visited twice and so far all has been fairly satisfactory considering the difficult circumstances. The staff seem very obliging and friendly. Kitchen utensils and crockery a bit grubby.

The Queen's hospital recommended this care home to me, as I needed to find a safe place for my mother to live and not too far away from me to travel to. I was most impressed. Staff are friendly and helpful and the home was very clean and the rooms are lovely. They have activities and outings.

Mother in law has been at the home since February 2017. The home is kept beautifully clean and well presented. All of the staff are really friendly, well turned out and helpful. The hardest decision was having to put mother into a home but the transition was made smoother with the support of care home staff. My mother in law is now settled and says she enjoys the entertainment in the home, she also says the food is of an excellent standard.

Very happy with this care home which had a lovely large quiet room for mum and her belongings. Plenty of activities happening with great care, empathy and security. Impressed with the menu and choices offered in the dining room or in own room. Plenty of areas to socialise or opportunity for peace and quiet. Garden could be nicer but pleasant enough in good weather. Highly recommended.

Always found the care home to be clean and fresh smelling. The rooms always look clean and so is the bed linen. My mother seems happy, she is always clean and tidy.

The staff are very friendly and appear to look after each resident to their needs. I think sometimes more staff is needed on duty but they all work very hard.

My mum doesn't eat very much but her condition is catered for on a daily basis.

I would be happy to recommend this care home.

The manager of Amy's Park and her team have made a very homely and welcoming floor, the bedrooms and eating TV area, it is just like being in your own home.
The staff are very caring and take their job very seriously.
The staff seem to go over and beyond their normal working hours.
They run a number of daily activities which test and stretch the residents and stimulate the mind and work the body.

The hairdresser and nail bar help boost the feel good factor of the residents.

The care and support to visitors is appreciated. Resident problems when I have been present have been prompt and sensitive. BIG THANK YOU. I was so glad to hear of the activities programme. The size of the rooms are generous and calming. Safety and security seem to be handled well. Many thanks for helping my special sister.

I visited a number of homes prior to my mum's admission. We chose the home as it was very clean and welcoming and the residents were happy. Mum settled very quickly and has formed a good bond with the permanent staff. She is not keen on agency staff and finds they are not as efficient on the unit. Mum feels safe and secure and tells me the staff are very kind to her. I am happy with her care.
