Sutherland Court Care Home

We found the staff very caring and attentive. Rooms and communal areas were a good size and brightly decorated. Mum had a garden view with veranda which was beautiful. Food was excellent and varied and lots of activities on offer.

Apart from food & drink, I am very happy with this placement for R. I am aware that my ex-husband is very fond of good tasty food from his early adulthood. He is a good cook - mainly non-vegetarian dishes. Considering all the residents from different cultural background and provide nutrition (balanced) at old age is not easy. However it may be worth communicating with dietitians & different care home kitchen facilities to revisit the menu which is feasible & practical

Our parents have been residents at Sutherland Court since the start of 2026 and we as a family are happy with the care given. We are always kept updated on any issues regarding health and wellbeing and the staff are very supportive and welcoming.

Both my grandparents are in the care facility and I can honest say the staff go above and beyond for them. Anything you need they are there to help. The manager is very approachable and his door is open. Can't thank this home enough for all they have done and continue to do

The staff treat Mam with the utmost care, respect and kindness. The home is always clean and has a warm welcoming atmosphere. There are always some activities going on and staff encourage residents to get involved. Communication with the management team is excellent they always have time to listen which gives our family peace of mind.

My mum has been a resident at Sutherland Court for the the last 8 months and will be moving on to nursing care very soon. As a family, we are very sad that she is having to leave this wonderful home behind. Bobby, the manager, and every single one of his team have gone far beyond what was expected of them to make make my mum's stay a pleasant one. They have fought for her rights and medical needs every step of the way and have done more for her and my family than many of the other social channels. Having experienced a terrible home previously, I can assure you that Sutherland Court is the pinnacle of what a care home should be. I would not hesitate in living there myself, let alone having a family member there.

Sutherland Court Care Home, under the brilliant and delightful leadership and management of Bobby and his wonderful team is a lovely, caring, pleasant, and happy beautiful team who care for my dear mother and other residents in a loving and holistic way. They always look for practical solutions to serve them lovely residents and supporting staff in the best way possible, with lovely feedback, help, understanding. Please continue your beautiful work. They have cared for my mother as if she was a family member, they have laughed with her, she in turn has kept them entertained & on their toes, her care until she slipped away was exemplary. I can't thank you all enough.

A big thank you to all of the care team for their kindness and support given to my mam and dad throughout December and during the Christmas dinner. It was a lovely touch, inviting families along for the dinner which my mam said was delicious, many thanks, my dad is very well cared for here from lovely staff.

My husband had dementia and medical issues, his stay was short but he was well cared for throughout until his death. He was treated with respect and managed his dignity. Every staff member provided the best possible care to my husband. I was updated daily on his care and all of his needs were met. A warm and kind environment which I could recommend. I was also well supported.

Very helpful and caring staff, comfortable home with nice furnishings and well maintained, like home from home. Meals looked very appetizing.

She loved the cake so thank you for that and the trouble you took baking it.

So if you're thinking about this place for your loved one go for it. I'm glad we did.

My cousin is beautifully cared for by all of the professional and empathetic staff. She is happy and content with her needs. I visit 3 times each week and I have no concerns that she is cared for with compassion and first-class care.

My mother has come to the care home after nine weeks in hospital recovering from a broken hip. On our first visit to the home, we were impressed by the welcome given and clear evidence that residents were encouraged to socialise. My mum has a lovely room and the standard of decor/cleanliness is excellent. Communal areas are extremely comfortable, clean and well-maintained. Altogether we are happy that my mother is well looked after and happy.

Since my father-in-law arrived, the care he received has been first-class. The staff are very attentive and caring. The food has always been of a good standard. As a family we are very pleased we chose this home.

Very happy with the care received for both my parents. They are on separate floors but the staff always make sure Mom and Dad see each other on most days. The care here at Sutherland Court is next to none, it's just amazing and both parents are happy to be here, especially our dad, he has thrived a lot since coming here in June 2023.
