Timperley Nursing Home is situated in a peaceful residential area in Altrincham, close to local amenities.

It offers residential and nursing care for older people and people living with dementia, in a luxury homely setting. Timperley's skilled carers support residents needing either long or short term care, including respite care.

The home is spacious with large lounge areas, hairdressing salon and quiet bistro areas where residents can spend time with family and friends while enjoying a coffee and cake of the day.

Lovely staff, very caring and professional, and lovely rooms and facilities. My dad has had major surgery and was recently moved there, and he is comfortable there and closer to his family. We are very happy that he has been moved there and highly recommended

Staff so very helpful, especially in these difficult times.
My loved one has the very best of care, food and accommodation.
Always informative.
Excellent communication in particular with GP.
Unfortunately, hasn't been possible to enter since Dads admission, so had to judge some areas.

Throughout the period of time that my father was at Timperley Care Home, I was impressed with the individual care and attention given, not only to my father but my mother too. Old age is a shaved experience, and the care and attention applies to the family too. All were blended with a caring, personal

The care and respect shown to my mother-in-law since moving into Timperley Care Home have been amazing. During the last few months Covid-19 everyone has been very supportive not only to my mother-in-law but to our family too.
Whilst all the staff have been fantastic throughout this stressful time I
cannot thank the activity coordinators enough for everything they have done to make things easier for the family and mum.

All the staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. Expertly trained and professional. My husband's room was cheery and the ensuite wet room immaculate. I cannot find anything adverse in the 18 months they looked after him. Timperley Care Home is brilliant.

My mum has been resident at TCH since approx Dec 2018, and has been there throughout the COVID-19 crisis. The period has been extremely stressful for all concerned and I absolutely endorse and highlight the care my mum and our family have been provided by the staff. In particular, the Activity Co-ordinator
who has managed regular skype sessions and phone calls.

Considering the COVID-19 restrictions, we will be eternally grateful that my father was admitted to Timperley Care Home as an emergency case. Throughout his 10 day long stay, he was treated with the utmost care and dignity, which was extremely well received by his wife and close family. From the manger,
office and caring staff, nurses, orderlies and cleaners, each and everyone deserve great credit and enormous thanks from all my family for the professionalism and patience during Dad's brief stay!

My wife has dementia; and having cared for her at home for several years, I know how difficult it is to care for someone particularly with regards to personal hygiene when that person resists all attempts to help and does not understand.
I am constantly reassured by the patience and professionalism
of the staff at Timperley Care Home; who are surely entitled to describe themselves as 'carers' in the true sense of the world. The nursing staff are always happy to discuss my wife's current situation and the care home management are always supportive.

Having adequate staffing levels for both carers and nursing staff is the most important improvement you can make.
A professional activities coordinator is necessary and very urgent.
All staff are wonderful from kitchen, laundry, carers and nursing but are unable to give the best of care as they are

I love this home for my grandad, everyone is so friendly, could not wish for a better one for him. The staff are so caring and understanding, nothing is too much for them. Timperley Care Home is a happy and welcoming care home.

I recommend this care home to anybody that wants their loved ones cared for. The staff and management are very caring and understanding and are there if you need to speak to them. We could not ask for better caring and the home environment is brilliant for my dad. The carers work so hard and are an

Care assistants, entertainment, staff, support workers, cleaning staff, laundry staff, management - all good. Nurses are not always in evidence and when they are, they are not very approachable. Communication is poor - carers are not aware of residents' needs, simple requirements specified on care plans.
The front door is not always locked. The drain is blocked in the bathroom. The toilet has been out of use for over a week. Music in the lounge is too loud for residents with dementia. Relatives are left in the lounge/dining room with no care staff present. Care staff - too much talking/looking at phones - not aware of residents' movements/actions.

Poor communication within the team. When I ask a member of staff to do something for the resident, I find on my next visit I have to repeat the information. This is extremely frustrating, and I have concerns the action doesn't happen if I don't visit. I have received the first invoice and it is incorrect.
Clearly, no communication between Timperley Care Home and Kingsley accounts department.

Such an inviting atmosphere from the minute you walk in the door. Clean and very welcoming the staff are as happy as the residents and always ready to answer any questions.


My dad had never been happier than in their care, especially when he had the little dog days to look forward to.


The staff,

from the top of the ladder to the bottom rung are a credit to the Kingsley Group.

Staff at this home should always be recognised. Mother has been there for many years. The first floor treats their residents as if they are at home - can't do enough for them and thanks seem inadequate. Lovely and caring staff who are insufficiently recognised and appreciated for their dedicated work

Tracy Mitchell

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2024

Tracy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Timperley Care Home.


Having qualified as a nurse in 1992 she initially went into a hospital setting, working as a theatre nurse, before deciding she wanted to care for people with a more person-centred approach.


She took up a role in a nursing home where she held the position of Deputy Manager and later became the Manager.


Tracy has over 20 years of experience managing residential and nursing homes. She loves seeing the joy on resident's faces as they start enjoying life again when they move into a care home, taking part in a wide range of meaningful and stimulating activities, socialising and making new friends.

Cheryl

Cheryl Peers

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2024

Cheryl, the new Deputy Manager at Timperley, is a qualified nurse, specialising in Mental Health care. She has worked in both hospital and care settings and in her previous role where helped them achieve outstanding.


Cheryl is enjoying working at Timperley and has been made to feel welcome by the team. She is looking forward to helping the home to develop and improve. She is passionate about end-of-life care and is looking forward to embedding high standards into the home.


Cheryl is very family-orientated and loves spending her spare time with family and friends, enjoyed family time over a nice meal. She also enjoys the outdoors, going hiking and climbing.

I have worked at Kingsley Care Home for the last 18 months as the Home administrator. I am currently working towards my NVQ L3 in Business Administration. I have worked in the care sector for over 23 years and have a wealth of knowledge working with older adults and dementia care.


I completed my RMA Registered Managers Award and NVQ L3 in health and social care, and worked as a deputy manager of a residential home for over 12 years. I then moved on to be an assessor in the community working for a health care company that provided care at home, working alongside Tameside Council. I built person-centred care plans and risk assessments for service users living in their own homes who required care and support with daily living. I was a moving and handling trainer who supported and signed off on the care assistants working out in the community.


I enjoy my job as I love caring and supporting people each and every day, whether that be the residents, staff or families. I am always happy to help where I can.


In my spare time, I enjoy family time with my 5 boys, often going to Football every weekend with my boys, as one of my sons plays for Stoke City Academy. When I have time, I also enjoy swimming, Movie nights, family holidays and weekend trips away!

My career began with Infosys Ltd, Pune, India, where I was recruited as an Operations Executive. Over time, I progressed to the role of Systems Engineer. After marriage, we moved to Oman, shifting my focus to Human Resources, working closely with senior management as an HR Executive. I moved to the UK to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration and joined Kingsley Healthcare, where I currently serve as an Administrator.


Outside of work, I’m a big movie addict who loves getting lost in films of all kinds. I’m also a passionate foodie who enjoys exploring different cuisines, where Arabic food is by far my favourite. Whether it's a new dish or a classic film, I love discovering new experiences that spark joy and curiosity.
