I trained as a nurse in Romania before moving to the UK in 2015. After managing another local care home, I’m now the Home Manager at Cedar Court. I’m proud to work with such a dedicated and compassionate team who always go above and beyond for our residents.
I really like getting to know the residents and their families making them feel special every time they visit. Also, I love getting involved with events that happen in the home. I have had a varied career, all customer-facing facing so I feel my interpersonal skills are good. I was a Bank Manager for 18 years so I am very familiar with working with people and respecting confidentiality.
I’m passionate about providing high-quality care and ensuring the home is welcoming for residents, their families, and friends. I value my team's hard work and feel I make a positive difference as a nurse. I hold a Master's degree in Nursing.
I love seeing the smiles and laughter of residents during activities. I help them maintain fulfilled lives by supporting them in doing the activities they’ve always enjoyed. I have a strong background in activity work in schools and care home settings.
I enjoy meeting residents' families and making them feel welcome. I greet residents with a smile and a chat as I move around the home. I have over 6 years of reception experience in high-end hotels and a dental practice.
I enjoy using my skills to create recipes and try new food ideas. By making classic, nostalgic dishes, I bring comfort and help residents relive treasured memories. I qualified as a chef in 2003 at the Royal Air Force Catering Academy and have completed courses in Textured Modified Foods and Business Management.
I enjoy working with the elderly as they are funny and kind, and I love being part of the team. While doing maintenance, I always take time to chat with the residents. I have completed high school, university, and on-the-job training.
I enjoy providing care, support, and companionship to the residents, taking the time to get to know them individually and working closely with my team. Engaging in conversations about their interests and life stories is the most fulfilling part of my job. I am currently completing my Level 3 qualification.
