Brackenfield Hall in Frecheville, Sheffield offers residential and dementia care where residents receive personalised care in safe and supportive surroundings by an experienced, highly trained care team.

The home's dementia care is tailored to provide high quality individual support.

The home has 60 single en-suite rooms, which residents are welcome to make homely with their own belongings. Brackenfield Hall continues to welcome new residents on both a permanent and shorter term basis.

The care team get to know customers and work with them to organise stimulating activities which match individual and group interests, both in the care home as well as in the local community.

Each customer’s individual needs are regularly assessed to ensure their care plans meet their lifestyle requirements. Meals are cooked fresh and from locally sourced and seasonal ingredients where possible by a highly trained Chef Manager and catering staff.

Absolutely brilliant staff, Nan is very settled and enjoys her time there. Very well looked after and a lovely team. My mum's auntie is also a resident and she loves it here. Keep up the amazing work you all do.

My mum has been in Brackenfield Hall going on three months now and she is very happy and content. The home is beautiful and clean, the bedrooms are very spacious with an en-suite bathroom and the staff are very caring, friendly and approachable.

Very friendly staff, my nan is very well looked after. Relatives are made to feel very welcome and any concerns or issues are dealt with in a timely manner. The home is very clean and tidy. I am very happy with how my nan has settled in.

My mum has been in Brackenfield Hall a little over a year now and couldn't be happier, she is eating well, joins in all the activities, likes going to watch the singers and has her hair done every week in the salon. The home is well decorated, very clean and all the staff are friendly, I'm glad Mum
is in a home where she is well looked after but most importantly, very happy.

Mum has been in the home since January 2024 and it did take a while for her and us to settle in but it is like a second home for us now and Mum sees this as her home. The staff are polite and any issues we have are dealt with. The staff are polite and caring and Mum seems very settled now.

I have a friend in Brackenfield Hall, she was very nervous at first but the staff have been amazing, very caring and friendly. My friend seems very happy and content and says the food is lovely. The bedrooms are nice and spacious with their own bathrooms. The home is very clean and smells nice.

I have visited my friend now in Brackenfield Hall for the past year and I have to say this home is amazing. The home is so welcoming and the care staff are above the rest. The home manager cannot do enough for everyone. The activities are brilliant, there was a singer on last week and she was fabulous.

I looked around for somewhere I thought would suit my mother. I am glad that I chose Brackenfield as it really has everything I was looking for. She has a really nice large room which looks out over the entrance so mum can 'neb' at all the comings and goings whilst in her room. The staff are really
attentive and regularly make drinks and nibbles available. Today they organised a game of skittles in the lounge using empty plastic bottles.
My mother had a go and knocked them all down. She looked very pleased with herself. The staff keep the place meticulously clean on a regular basis obliterating any nasty smells that some homes have. Every week they have singers and other entertainment with occasional tea parties and fetes. My mother was very frail when she moved in almost six months ago but she has improved no end under their care. Well done each and every one of you.

Although I was apprehensive about placing my mother-in-law in a home, Brackenfield Hall is proving to be a great choice.
The staff show they really care for their residents and the weekly activities, along with the visit from the hairdresser have really helped her to settle in quickly.

Mom needed to move at quite short notice. Brackenfield Hall helped make the move quick and it went without any issues. Staff and residents were supportive helping Mom to settle. Staff are friendly and regularly check on her if she is on her own. The food is of a high standard and residents are encouraged
to join in activities. Mom settled in after a couple of weeks and it is nice to see her with a smile on her face.

I enjoy visiting the home, it is such a relaxed atmosphere. My relative, on residential AD, says it's her home. Everyone seems happy in the home, lots of laughter. The home is clean and lots of changes with the decor. Every time I go, there is something new added to the home, lots of staff around attending
to residents. The garden area is lovely and big and used well. The staff are really kind to everyone and activities are brilliant. There was a singer on when I went, she is amazing, she got everyone up dancing, so lovely to see.
