Absolutely superb care of dear Professor Ronald.
The staff could not have done more to make him comfortable in his last months. Professor was always looking fresh and clean. He was treated greatly and with care and compassion.

Special mention to: Jhiny (senior nurse), Maria on 1st floor, John and Joseph and the lovely Crystal. These are just the staff I remember. Thank you to everyone for looking after Professor so well. God bless you all.

It was a privilege to look after Professor Ronald , and we are honoured that you trusted us with his care.

Your special mentions will be passed on to Jincy, Maria, John, Joseph and Crystal - they will be truly touched to know they made such a difference. We are also grateful on behalf of all the staff, many of whom work quietly behind the scenes but care just as deeply.

Thank you to the well being team for arranging a wonderful cake, balloons and cards to celebrate our parents wedding anniversary. It means so much for our parents to celebrate their special day together as my stepfather is a resident on the first floor dementia floor at Cambridge Manor.

Had a lovely time for my grandma's birthday. The staff let us use the cinema room to have afternoon tea & watch old home movies. They baked a lovely cake & had the room decorated. My grandma was made to feel very special. Thank you.

Both of my parents came to Cambridge Manor for respite following my mum's discharge from hospital. They stayed for 4 weeks. They were very anxious about coming into a care home, but all the staff were kind, friendly and helpful and made them feel so welcome. My mum and dad were able to eat and spend time together again and enjoyed some of the varied activities. The rooms were clean and the food was good. Communication from staff was excellent. I would certainly recommend this home.

We moved our mother to the Cambridge Manor after a bad experience in another care home. The Manor was a vast improvement and we and more importantly, she has been very happy with the change. The staff are all extremely friendly and competent and look after her with great care, compassion and sensitivity. The rooms are lovely and the food is great. We would recommend to anyone looking round.

My husband entered the nursing home after a fall in which he broke his hip. He also has advanced Parkinsons Disease which causes difficulty with movement. In both cases he is catered for very well by all the staff. The home is very well run and in particular he really enjoys the gym. The patients dignity is very much respected by all, the activities are varied from day to day and the food is excellent. I would be very happy to recommend the home to everyone.

Cambridge Manor was suggested to me by two friends and has lived up to their warm recommendations in its care of my wife, a dementia sufferer. It strives to offer a hotel-like experience and this is obvious right from the lobby, where there is an attractive cafe with free soft drinks, snacks and fruit. What has struck me most is the quality of the staff, who from senior managers to nurses are unfailingly kind, courteous and patient, and always have time for residents, even those who can at times pester them. The place is spotlessly clean, the food appealing and there is a wide range of activities. One particular feature is a very pretty garden at the back - surprising in a place that is close to the city centre - where residents can sit and take coffee or tea.

My father only spent one week in Cambridge Manor, but he was treated like an old friend by all the staff. He had been considering a move to Cambridge Manor but was unfortunately admitted to hospital. When it became clear that he wouldn't be returning home, the management and staff were amazing working with us to try to get him discharged to their care. All the family who visited were struck by the genuinely happy and friendly atmosphere.

We chose this Care Home for my mother after recommendation from a work colleague and couldn't have been more pleased. It is clean, very friendly, has lots of activities and events going on, and treats everyone with care and respect, including the families and friends of the residents. My mum wasn't there very long before she died due to illness, however the compassion and care all the staff showed us as a family, from the managers and nurses to the kitchen staff and cleaners, was exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Care Home.

I have been happy here. This is my second time I am here, and each time I get my life sorted out again, which they are very good at. They are very helpful and very pleasant to be in here. I would like to do anything myself rather than have someone do it for me, it is not because this is a bad place, on the contrary, everything here took care of me with lots of care, and I am grateful for it. This place helped me find myself and my life again.
