Cambridge Manor is excellent. I was dreading coming to a care home for respite, but I needn't have worried at all. It is heaven here. Every member of staff is so kind and friendly. They are always around and help is immediate. Rooms lovely. Food fabulous. I can't thank them enough.

I cannot praise Cambridge Manor Care Home enough. We were in the unfortunate position of needing emergency residential care and the management team and staff worked so hard, with no notice, to make this happen. They acted with compassion and respect and really went over and above the call of duty. They

Mum has always been well looked after and cared for at Cambridge Manor Care Home. The staff provided a wonderful environment and everyone knows her name and smiles when they greet her.

I cannot speak too highly of the outstanding care which my parents-in-law received at Cambridge Manor Care Home. They stayed for a period of six weeks for respite care. The admission and welcome process were smooth and efficient, the care received throughout the stay was excellent. However, what really
stood out above all else was the kindness, consideration and love shown by every single member of the care team. Their thoughtfulness and generosity with their time and care were amazing and were a key factor in my parents-in-law deriving maximum benefit from their stay. We were delighted with the home and can highly recommend it.

The main characteristic of this care home is the application, efficiency and good-naturedness of the staff. No matter how many are replaced they all have the same approach. The building, the equipment and the food are all typical of good care homes but it is the work of the staff in activities, and
relationships with residents that are so special.

Cambridge Manor Care Home is an amazing place. Lots of activities for those that want to do them. Plenty of lounges for those that want to sit and watch the world go by. The food is excellent and the staff are polite and helpful. Visitors are welcomed. I love the Manor cafe where everyone can help themselves
to drinks and snacks. It was a wonderful experience for our family at a difficult time and we wish it could have lasted for longer. Thank you to everyone involved, we are very grateful.

My mother was very unhappy in another care home and we were unhappy with her care.
I spoke with the business development manager at Cambridge Manor Care Home and he stated that he would do everything in his power to ensure that Mum moved over to them. Within less than 24 hours Mum had been assessed,
all admin completed and she was sat in her bed in Cambridge Manor Nursing Home.
Managers and staff introduced themselves in quick succession and it has been a pleasure to see such effort made to ensure that my mother's every need is being catered for. Mum is now having her physical and emotional needs met in a safe and caring environment. She, herself, states that she does not wish to be back in her own home and recognises that family alone cannot provide the standard of care that she is now receiving.

My first choice for a care home - very good to have a single-room ensuite. Staff are most helpful and caring and polite. Management visit regularly and GP will also visit if required. Telephone accessible.

Shelly brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. He began his journey in care as a carer, working his way up through dedication and compassion. A Registered Nurse by profession, Shelly also holds a graduate-level management qualification, equipping him with both clinical expertise and strong leadership skills.
He joined Cherry Hinton Care Home in November 2019 as a Care Services Manager, and was promoted to Home Manager in February 2021. During his time at Cherry Hinton, Shelly led a fantastic team of nurses and carers, always ensuring that residents received personalised, high-quality support while promoting their independence and wellbeing.

I have 20 years of experience working in the care sector. I joined the TLC Care family in 2009 and worked in different roles at the Support Office and care homes. I have worked with brilliant mentors within the company and have learnt so much along the way.


As a Hotel Services Manager, I am responsible for managing and delivering outstanding hotel services provided to our residents, based on their interests and needs.


When I am not with residents, I am passionate about learning and development and always enjoy supporting our team members with their training needs.

I started my journey in the year 2022 with our sister home, TLC Kailash Manor Care Home, as an Administrative Assistant and have since grown into my current role. Today, I manage HR and Finance-related matters within the home, supporting both our team members and residents. I'm an associate member of the CIPD, having completed my Level 5 qualification in HR, and I'm also a certified Mental Health First Aider with MHFA UK. It's a privilege to be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support.

Maria has been at Cambridge Manor since its opening back in 2009. She started as a nurse and has experienced a number of roles since, such as Unit Manager of our residential floor and Unit Manager of our Nursing floor. Maria is a key part of the Cambridge Manor family and always goes out of her way to get a smile from our residents.

With over 24 years of culinary expertise, I am a seasoned head chef specialising in continental cuisine, including Mexican, French, Italian, and Indian dishes.


My career began in 2000 at the prestigious Burj Al Arab in Dubai, a seven-star hotel. I then honed my skills on cruise liners for four years and spent 15 years at Hilton. In 2022, I joined TLC Care Home Cambridge Manor, where I oversee the food and beverage experience, including IDDSI special requirement meals for residents
