Thank you very much Karen for this lovely review. We absolutely love that you are part of the Cambridge Manor family.
Thank you for your review. Lockdown was so hard for everyone involved, we tried so hard to make things easier for our residents and we are glad to hear that your video calls were meaningful. We now have a really great system for welcoming new admissions but we thank you for your feedback. Our carers will never be refused personal care due to their emotions, if needs changed we will take action for the sake of our residents. Your lovely mother is a pleasure to care for and we love that she is here with us at Cambridge Manor.
Dear Karen, Thank you for acknowledging our brilliant wellbeing/activities team as well as the fabulous food and drink that our kitchen team lovingly prepare for our residents. It's regretful that you feel the overall standard of the home is low, as all team members ensured that Mum was as happy and as comfortable as possible (for instance our home manager cutting and styling mum's hair in an attempt to make her feel better). Your praise of the cleanliness of our home in your statement contradicts the low rating for the same subject. We are extremely proud of all of our staff and all the hard work that they do to make sure that the home is clean and the residents are safe, happy and treated with dignity throughout their stay at Cambridge Manor.
Hi Paul, It was lovely to meet you last week! We are so thrilled by your reaction to our wonderful home. We are so proud of our great team. It is absolutely our pleasure to care for your beautiful Mum. Welcome to the Cambridge Manor family.
Thank you so much for your wonderful praise of our lovely home. We are so happy to have your mum and you all as part of our Cambridge Manor family. We do have such fun here and love to ensure that the residents not only live in the home but thrive and enjoy everything there is to do in life. We can't wait to welcome you into the home to join us in these fun events now we are opening up more! Last year we hosted Wimbledon and bought the beach to Cambridge Manor, this year we are hosting a dog show (don't forget to enter your pup!) and turning our garden into the magical world of Willie Wonka's Chocolate Factory! We can't wait for you and Mum to enjoy it with us.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We were so happy to be part of your Mum and family's last few months and she will be greatly missed here at Cambridge Manor. I was so glad that she made such wonderful friends during her time here - special bonds often flourish here and I am so glad your Mum was so welcomed and cherished by both the team and our residents.
Dear Alan, Thank you for your review of Cambridge Manor. We are surprised to hear of your perception of our staff and are so sorry that this is how you feel. We can assure you that we adapt our team members to ensure that there are suitable team members present at any one time for the needs of our residents and to ensure their safe care. I am most upset to hear that you felt someone to be uncaring, and I will contact you directly so that we can get a full understanding of your experience and offer any training and/or support to ensure that no one else has a similar experience. This is not feedback we often receive (thankfully) so thank you for bringing it to our attention so we can investigate.
Dear Lisa,
Thank you so much for your review. It has been a difficult 18 month for everyone, including your family who had this big adjustment to negotiate. We agree, your Mother-in-law is now so very happy with us and we are so happy to have her as part of our family. We are so thrilled to read your kind words about our well-being and activities. We have really put a lot of energy into providing lots of fun things for our residents to do, especially over the last 18 months when visits were so limited. As we open up more and get back to our pre-covid ways (safely and still with testing, I imagine) we cannot wait to welcome you and your family to our future events so you can join in the fun too.
Thank you so much for your time and kindness in sharing your view of Cambridge Manor. As our company is called TLC, I am thrilled to hear that our values of Truth, Love and Compassion come through in our hard work as they run through everything we do. I will pass on your fantastic feedback to our team who will be so thrilled to hear that you find our food superb, our activities entertaining and our care outstanding. We are so glad that Dad is happy and content and well cared for here and we are so happy to have him and you as part of our Cambridge Manor Famly. With thanks from all the team.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so glad to have your Aunt with us and that she is doing so well - thriving is the word! She is a joy to have in all of our activities - we really enjoy putting on a diverse range of events and activities for our residents to participate in and are so glad that she enjoys them. The enjoyment and fun are real here and glad that you have felt it too. I'm so pleased to hear that the newsletter and app are helpful to you in keeping up-to-date - it is so important to us to keep our family members updated about what is happening in the home, especially with all the changes that we have had to communicate over the last year.
Thank you both for being such a valued part of our Cambridge Manor family.
Thank you for your kind words and lovely review. I am so glad to hear that you have felt supported throughout the process - we know that moving into a Care Home is a difficult time for everybody, the addition of Covid adds complications but nothing we can't overcome when our team and our families work together. Your Mother deserves all the kindness, care and attention in the world and we are honoured that we get the chance to bestow it on her.
Thank you for your time in leaving this review. We are so glad to have your Dad and family as part of ours. He is such a gentleman and deserves all the care and respect. We are so pleased that our Team’s approach to care, embodying our core values of Truth, Love and Compassion, have benefited your Dad and your family. We strive to individualise our care to all our residents and are so glad it is valuable to you. Thank you from all the team for your recommendation.
On behalf of the team at Cambridge Manor, I thank you for your kind words. I will share them with the whole team. We are glad that you have found all teams responsive and that your husband enjoys both the activities and the food.
Thank you for your time in leaving this wonderful review. We are so glad we provide the high standard of care and facilities that your wife deserves. She is a special person and we are so glad to have her with us. The lockdown period has been challenging for everyone, but I am glad that you have had the level of communication you require to be kept up to date on your wife's care and needs. We will continue to uphold these high standards and enjoy your visits to our garden. I will pass your kind words on to the team.
On behalf of the staff, we want to thank you for your kind review of our care home. We are delighted you find the service to be of a high standard.
Thank you for your kind review. I am so glad that the team have come together to enable you to see and speak with Mum as much as is possible during these difficult times. At TLC, we know how important our families are to our residents' wellbeing and we have tried to do everything that we can to enable our residents to communicate with their loved ones during lockdown, in the safest way for all. Being kind and caring is in our nature, and I am so glad to know that this has continued during what has been a turbulent time for all of us. Your Mother is a very valued member of our family and we are so happy that she knows she is safe with us. We are looking forward to welcoming you and your family back in for a cup of tea and cake in the cafe as soon as we can.
