We are very pleased with all the services provided and the management, nurses and carers are always there to help us. Nothing is too much trouble. When we just arrived, the staff and management were always happy to take one of us for a walk in the garden which we manage to do on our own now and it's very enjoyable in the garden.

Cambridge Manor Care Home is an amazing place. Lots of activities for those that want to do them. Plenty of lounges for those that want to sit and watch the world go by. The food is excellent and the staff are polite and helpful. Visitors are welcomed. I love the Manor cafe where everyone can help themselves to drinks and snacks. It was a wonderful experience for our family at a difficult time and we wish it could have lasted for longer. Thank you to everyone involved, we are very grateful.

My mother was very unhappy in another care home and we were unhappy with her care.
I spoke with the business development manager at Cambridge Manor Care Home and he stated that he would do everything in his power to ensure that Mum moved over to them. Within less than 24 hours Mum had been assessed, all admin completed and she was sat in her bed in Cambridge Manor Nursing Home.
Managers and staff introduced themselves in quick succession and it has been a pleasure to see such effort made to ensure that my mother's every need is being catered for. Mum is now having her physical and emotional needs met in a safe and caring environment. She, herself, states that she does not wish to be back in her own home and recognises that family alone cannot provide the standard of care that she is now receiving.

Thank you to all at Cambridge Manor Care Home.

Having worked for the NHS for the last twenty-two years, I cannot help but be impressed by the care that my mother-in-law is currently receiving at Cambridge Manor Care Home, in particular, the nursing care she receives. It is a great sadness to me that I know currently the NHS is unable to provide this standard of care. May this standard of care long continue. Many thanks.

My first choice for a care home - very good to have a single-room ensuite. Staff are most helpful and caring and polite. Management visit regularly and GP will also visit if required. Telephone accessible.

The main difficulty my aunt has is what she describes as a "language problem". She has hearing difficulties and many of her wonderful carers have English as a second language. The is nothing that can be done to change this. We're very grateful for all the care that is given.

My mother has been at the Cambridge Manor Care Home for the last six months. During her time there, all the staff have provided excellent service. I would also like to mention the administration staff who provided me with all the information needed. I would say that the care home provides excellent service throughout.

I am very well looked after here. There are lots of people here and they all treat us well - they talk to us, take us out and do all sorts of things for us and never grumble at us! I think that they look after us and do what we ask.

I came here with my husband in September 2021 but sadly my husband died in July 2022 and so I am more than glad to have a safe place to be now that I am on my own. The support here is very good in all ways, medical help, food and cleaning etc.

I am satisfied with all the supporting ways that my programme of regular meals provided and also personal responsibilities for cleaning and tidying my environment - washing myself, bathing and taking showers - and exercising within and externally in the garden environment outside or programmed walks and visits.

It is important that I always communicate with major staff and care staff in the activities provided and in all community programmes and activities.

Although my mother has been here less than a week, the staff have already become friends and do everything they can to make her comfortable. The range of activities gives her some much-needed stimulation and company. Without fail from management to carers, all staff have made the transition from home to care seamless and easy. With many thanks.

Although my mother-in-law was only with you for a very short time, we were very impressed with your care, service and facilities.
The home was clean, nicely decorated and spacious.
The staff were all very friendly, helpful and always smiling.

I would highly recommend this care home to any friends and relatives.

My husband has been a resident in the Cambridge Manor Care Home since January 2022 and in all this time the care he has been given is of the most excellent quality. The carers are always happy and cheerful with each resident, the nursing staff are always on hand to deal with any emergency, no matter how large or small, once again with a smile. (Any emergency is notified to the family as soon as possible.)

All the staff greet one on arrival at home by name and have a quick chat. Several of the residents I have spoken to also greet me by name and a smile.

I am very happy with my mother's care at Cambridge Manor Care Home. The staff are very friendly and helpful which is so reassuring as my mother is very frail and dependent. Recently she celebrated her 92nd birthday and the home organised a wonderful birthday party for seventeen family members in a neighbouring premises. The catering was taken care of for us which was just perfect! I cannot recommend the home more highly.

This is so wonderful to read. We absolutely loved supporting Mum to have the most wonderful 92nd birthday. It was so worth it to see the big smile on her face. We have loved getting to know Mum and your family over the past year and we look forward to spending more time with you all in the future.

Since I live abroad, I have only been able to visit on two occasions (March and July 2022) but both times I have been very satisfied with the running and amenities at the care home and the staff have always been helpful and considerate. Being so far away it is reassuring to know my elderly mother is well cared for. Thank you, Cambridge Manor Care Home.
