My mother receives all the care she needs at Hatton Grange. The staff are excellent - all very welcoming to mothers' visitors. I have seen them treat all residents with respect and dignity. We trust the home to have mothers' best interests at heart.

Support staff are also efficient (admin, laundry, etc.)

Having used Hatton Grange for almost 4 years, I can confidently say that quality and care are consistently excellent.
Staff are polite, listen and respond to concerns. The promises benefit from good management, are clean and tidy. Services, such as laundry, are also excellent, and the menu options are varied and nutritious.

Highly recommended.

The staff at the home are very professional at what they do and care for the residents. They are very helpful to the residents. The residents are looked after in a safe manner. I don't think they need to improve anything, as they are very caring.

My mum has been in Hatton Grange since Jan 25. They all get together for meals in the dining room to meet up and chat. The food smells and looks good.

She has her own room and floor sensors during the night for protection.

My mum has been in Hatton Grange for over 2 years now, and in all that time she has been very settled and happy. I look forward to seeing her because that's exactly what I want for her. The staff who work there are so caring and make time to include the residents and visitors. (There is always a cup of tea and biscuits available!) It has been such a relief to know my mum is safe and happy.

My mum has been living at Hatton Grange for the last 3 years. It has been a rollercoaster in terms of a staff member being a nightmare and bringing a lot of unnecessary stress to my mum, who suffers from vascular dementia, but that has all been resolved by the management. I do feel that the staff are run off their feet and should be more if the home wants better results, but generally most of the staff are lovely and try they're best. The deputy manager is brilliant, as are most of the staff on the top floor where Mum is. The big concern for me is the cleanliness, and the top floor needs a new kitchen at times, it's disgustingly old, and it also needs a lick of paint. Been going 3 years, top floors have never been decorated, and looks very tired. It should also have electric gates, not secure enough, bad area.

My husband is well cared for and is not distressed in any way.
He is treated with courtesy and dignity and is always clean and tidy.
Very satisfied after years of caring for him at home, and very reluctant to put him in other people's care. I'm more than happy.

Thank you.

From the moment mum arrived at Hatton Grange, the team have been very welcoming and supportive. Moving her into care was a big step for us, but the warmth and care from all of the staff has reassured us that she is in the best possible hands. The home itself is warm and inviting, with a lovely atmosphere.

Lovely support and are happy to help answer our many questions. Thank you!

Mum has been a resident for three and half months and in that time we have noticed she is more relaxed and seems happy here. All staff are approachable and helpful and work hard with activities for residents. There appears to be a regular relatives meeting, which I am hoping to attend next time. There are two therapy dogs which I think is a great idea for the residents to pet, as it feels like a homely place. Overall we are happy and fortunate we found a care home that suits Mum's needs.
