My elderly parents both with dementia have been looked after with huge care consideration and kindness and always in good spirits.
I understand they have been Covid free up to now.
This is amazing.
We could not have made a better choice for them both and are thankful every day that they are being cared for so well especially with their mental and physical challenges.

My heartfelt thanks and from my siblings too.

I just can't fault Tallis House. The staff and management are kind, helpful and very efficient. My wife is well looked after and is happy there. I can only say a big 'thank you' on behalf of my wife and myself. Would I recommend Tallis House? I certainly would!

I cannot praise Tallis House and the staff enough for everything they do for my Mum. I never worry about Mum whilst she is here. There is great communication between staff and families. All the staff knows my Mum so well. The recent introduction of garden visits has been so special for me - to be able to see my Mum and yet I know how safe it all is for her. Thank you.

Fantastic house. Fantastic staff. Fantastic care. My mother has had a new lease of life since being in the home. She loves the place. Should have made her go into the home earlier. Has never looked back since going in the home. Really can’t speak highly enough about this home.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. You can phone any time, day or night. My mother-in-law came in for 2 weeks respite in March. She enjoyed it so much she has decided to stay. We are really pleased she is being looked after.

From the moment my dad came to stay at Tallis House, we instantly knew this was the perfect place for him. We cannot recommend this home enough, everything they have done for our dad has been amazing. All the staff are fantastic and they genuinely love our dad. We are so lucky to have this home and they take care of our dad brilliantly. Thank you Tallis House!

I cannot thank all the wonderful staff at Tallis house during these very difficult times. They have done a wonderful job of keeping all our relatives safe. Even when we were not able to visit we were kept well informed of what was going on by email and phone. They have now set up a visiting rota which is so well organised and keeps everyone in the home safe. My mum was suffering from very sore lips and the staff informed us and got her lips swabbed and they have organised here an appt at PAH, we were kept well informed and they have organised transport and for me to travel with mum. Can't thank them enough.

Before Covid-19 whenever I came to I found mum so well looked after, I feel the staff know her so well.

My mum has been at Tallis House for nearly 4 years and is very happy and settled there.
I really have nothing but praise for the staff at Tallis House. My mum has had a bad stroke but can speak, if only with simple words. When I ask her if she is happy and how are the staff, she says 'they are very kind'. If there are any issues with my mum - she is feeling unwell, the doctor has been in to see her etc, the staff always keep me informed.
When I visit Tallis House to see my mum, the staff are friendly and welcoming and that makes all the difference.
During this CoVid-19 pandemic, the staff have worked tirelessly to ensure that all the residents are safe and well and we, as family, could not ask for anything more.

I am so grateful to the staff at Tallis House for taking such great care of my mum as well as all the other residents. Thank you all.

My mother has been a resident for three years and has always been treated with dignity and respect during that time. She reached her one-hundredth birthday last year and celebrated in style. Even though she has dementia, little vision and is hard of hearing, she maintains her sense of humour and joins in as much as possible. She is very happy most of the time, and the staff love her like their own. We are very happy with her care.

My mum has dementia and has been a resident from August 2017. When we viewed this home we knew this was the one for Mum; welcoming, caring, friendly, homely, clean and professional. The staff and in the home is like an extended family who is always approachable and supportive. I would highly recommend Tallis House to anyone looking for a home for their loved one.

The staff in this care home are amazing. I was really worried when my dad had to go into a care home. After meeting all the staff I was put at ease, the staff treat my dad as a family member. Even my dad said how happy he is there and that he couldn’t ask for better staff. They all deserve a medal for the way they have dealt with the pressure during this covid-19. They have always been upbeat even though you can see it’s taking a toll on them all.
My only complaint I have is about the food, I think there should be more of a variety.
But all in all, I’m very happy with Tallis House.

Many thanks to all the staff and some members go above and beyond.

Tallis House provides a secure caring environment for their residents. Families are kept informed of any medical concerns the carers may have. They encourage residents to join in with activities. Visitors are able to socialise with the relative/friends in the pleasant cafe which is well run and clean. The clerical and office staff are always helpful and efficient.

My father has been here for about 3 years. During that time, he was looked after very well. Carers were very kind and he was treated with dignity. Someone was always on hand if I wanted to know about dad and I was kept informed if he was ill or had had a fall. I could not fault the care that my father had.
