Mum has been well taken care of at Parkhall care home, a cut above many we visited, a credit to the staff that work tirelessly to provide a happy, clean and enjoyable environment, well done all and thank you.

My mum is happy here, I was a bit apprehensive at first but it was her choice to reside here and I must say it seems a lovely place. The staff on my mums floor are friendly and always helpful as are the Management.

Dad was only with you for a few months but Park Hall was our first choice when we were looking for a residential setting. We liked the way that the home is split into smaller, more personal units, with the atrium and the 'pub' for alternative social areas. Dad loved sitting in the atrium in the sunshine, he enjoyed the food and got on well with his carers. We were happy with his care and the response to anything we raised.

During the five years that our Mum was at Park Hall she was treated with respect and encouraged to be as active as possible within the constraints of a devastating dementia diagnosis. I was always made welcome by all the staff when visiting my Mum and this enabled me to spend many hours of quality time with her. Whilst they are not a nursing care provider they have experience in providing end of life care with training led by the home manager. Their commitment to taking care of our Mum was nothing short of exceptional. During her final days we were able to be with our mother day and night (even with our dog Pippa) without any objections. I was so impressed particularly with the home manager who went above and beyond. Thank you for everything during our sad loss.

Our Mum lived at Park Hall for almost 5 years. Whilst there she was treated with respect and encouraged to be as active as possible both physically and cognitively within the constraints of a devastating dementia diagnosis. When Mum became unwell we had no alternative but to agree to her being admitted to hospital but sadly the treatment did not provide a long term response. The hospital wanted our Mum to be discharged to a nursing home after what could have been a 6 week assessment somewhere she was not familiar with. We fought for Mum to go back to Park Hall. Whilst they are not a nursing care provider they have experience of providing end of life care with training led by the home manager and we had no doubt they would be able to care for Mum. She passed away with dignity with all her family around her (including the dog!) both day and night. Fellow residents/friends came in to see her and the staff were wonderful to us all, nothing was too much for them and I am eternally grateful.

My Mum was a resident at Park Hall for nearly 4 years. During that time she was happy and well cared for at all times. As a family, we were always made welcome no matter what time of day we visited, and we got to know the Carers and Management on a personal basis, and they us. All residents are treated with dignity, and the staff quickly learn each residents individual little ways.

Sadly, my Mum's health suddenly declined recently, and she had to receive "end of life" care. This care was given by the most wonderful staff at Park Hall. Each and every member of the team showed care, respect and love to Mum, and each one of us. To say they excelled in this care is an understatement. We are so very grateful that Mum did not spend her last days in hospital. She got to stay in a room that she knew and loved, surrounded by her family that could come and go, day and night . Whilst being cared for by people who really knew her , and always spoke her name while attending to her.

My mum has been a resident at Park Hall for nearly four years. She is very happy there and is well cared for. All of the staff are professional and treat the residents with dignity. My mum is treated as an individual and the staff know her well. The manager along with the rest of the management team, is excellent in overseeing my mum's care and supporting us as a family.

Dad has settled well in the care home. Management and staff make you feel welcome and give time to support any concerns. The care is outstanding, nothing is too much trouble however small it may be. Recently the home put on various activities to involve families and service users. Together we were able to enjoy the Halloween party, Christmas Market and Masquerade Ball. I feel less anxious knowing dad is safe and happy in this establishment.

It's almost a year since mum moved into Parkhall. From day one she's been cared for in a kind and dignified way and her needs perfectly met. Every staff member knows mum, her likes and dislikes and despite her increased confusion and anxiety know exactly how to manage her. Management always inform us immediately with any issue and we feel confident to approach them at anytime. It's also lovely to see that despite their management duties they still take time to interact with residents. The events in the home are amazing and gives us such pleasure to see mum enjoying herself. The effort made by all staff is an absolute credit to the home. The weekly visits from medical staff has thrown up some unexpected issues but it's been so reassuring to see how well and quickly they have been acted on by staff. During a recent meeting with the manager it was clear how passionate she is about her residents needs being met throughout their life that remains. We are 100% happy with Parkhall

My Grandmother was recently moved here back in August due to no longer being safe at home. She has really settled in well, the staff are lovely and the home is very homely inside. There are events that take place such as a Halloween party etc that I managed to bring my daughter to and special things like this make my grandma's day. We are happy with the care my grandmother is receiving. Thank you!

My Mother-in-law has been at Park Hall for seven months, she has nothing but good things to say about the care assistants.
The home makes everyone feel secure - there are lots of activities that go on day to day and everyone is encouraged to join in.

I would highly recommend Park Hall as it provides an excellent service.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Park Hall now for 3 months. I don't have enough words to describe the excellent care she receives from every staff member. The place is beautifully kept and the meals are incredible as are the little snacks in between meals, there are too many wonderful little touches to name them all. She absolutely adores the staff and constantly tells us how kind they are. She recently had a stumble on getting out of bed, we were informed immediately and by the time we got there the paramedic/ANP had checked her over and the district nurses contacted. Within that day a pressure mat was put at the side of her bed. That's what I call a total responsive and reactive team. Park Hall, the manager, deputies and all staff are a shining example of how our vulnerable and elderly should and deserve to be cared for. She is so happy in her new home which has made the hardest decision of our lives so much easier. Well done and thank you, Park Hall.

My mum has been in Park Hall for ten weeks now and what a wonderful place. We looked at a few homes before finding this one and they were not somewhere I believed my mum would be happy. As soon as we came in we knew it was the right place. The staff are amazing, so friendly and caring and nothing is too much trouble. We are kept informed of everything that is going on, on a regular basis. Over the time Mum has been here we have attended a couple of entertainment events and we have a great time singing and dancing with mum, it's nice to still make special memories. Thank you for all you do.

My godmother has been in Park Hall for just over 4 months. She has been treated with the utmost care and dignity. Her room is spacious and light and she is very comfortable there. The good is excellent. She had to be hospitalized for a while and the care she received when she returned was exemplary. She is happy there and I am grateful to the wonderful staff looking after her.
