Whilst my grandmother was only in the care home for a short period the care provided to her was exceptional.
Not only did the staff treat her with great care but maintained her dignity throughout.

Nothing was too much trouble for them for her or for our family. Thank you for helping us through such a difficult time.

I would recommend this home to anyone. All the staff are friendly, welcoming, professional, and extremely caring. They go above and beyond for residents and also their families. Especially during the covid/lockdown crisis. Thank you all for taking care of my mum.

Mum was only in the home for 6-days, but in her short time, she was very well looked after and great care was given. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.

The care given by her main carer was exceptional, and she supported not only my mum but, myself and my daughters.

Sunnyview care home is like a hotel, absolutely 5 stars. I hope if anything happens to me and I have to be in a care home - book me in now. The staff are magnificent, you are always sure of a warm welcome. Any issues with my mother, you are informed immediately. The decor, facilities, food and care are everything an elderly person could ask for.

My uncle moved into Sunnyview House after suffering a stroke meaning he could no longer live alone.
From the minute he moved in the staff have been nothing but 100% caring and dedicated to him.
The home is spotlessly clean with a range of activities. My uncle did not really participate in them so I can't comment further on these but I know he did enjoy the visit from the guide dogs!
He enjoyed the food served and the cakes provided by the home are lovely!
Unfortunately, he passed away a couple of weeks ago. The staff at Sunnyview House have been so helpful and kind during this sad time for our family. They will do anything for you and are always happy to help.

I can't recommend this home highly enough.

All staff extremely pleasant and caring and if there is something you want or need that is not in their normal routine they will try to get it or find out when they can get it.

If I have a complaint (which is not very often) I can go to management and they listen to me and if possible put it right there and then if not leave it with them and then they tell me what has happened.

My mother has been in Sunnyview for nearly 2 years. She was very depressed before she went to Sunnyview. Mum is now very happy and content. It is a pleasure to visit. The staff are always very caring and friendly. There is always a lovely atmosphere. I have visited a few care homes and I can honestly say none compare to Sunnyview.

I cannot thank Sunnyview Care Home staff enough for the wonderful care given to my mum over the short time that she was a resident in the Carnegie Suite. From the word go they were loving, caring, attentive and kind. The care home is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and every resident is treated with respect and dignity. Meals are amazing - nutritious and well presented. My mum had dementia and was not the easiest of residents at times but they all bonded with her - from the seniors to the cleaning staff. Sadly she passed away on 22nd January but leading up to her death the staff were simply amazing - we could not have asked for better care and attention. They are a five-star establishment with five-star staff!!

I can't thank all the staff enough at Sunnyview House Care Home for the love, care and support they gave my mum. My mum was at end of life on the 2nd floor and the nurses and carers were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. One nurse in particular bonded with mym and this was so comforting to see. She was brilliant not only with mum but the support she gave to us too. Sunnyview House is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had lots to offer, beautiful dining rooms, hair salon, entertainment to name a few.

Unfortunately, mum wasn't well enough to make use of these but we assured her it was like living in a 5-star hotel. Eternally grateful to you all.

Mum was only in the care home for a few months until she sadly passed away 03/12/18. In the short time she was there all the staff were pleasant, helpful and caring. Mum did not join in activities nor did she eat due to her illness. A special thank you to my Mum's nurse who kept us up to date with her honest, caring approach. Thank you to all.

Beautifully presented home, clean, stimulating but above all caring. Mum had the best of care, nothing was too much trouble. We, as a family did not need to worry about a thing. When mum passed we were offered help with on-going arrangements. A full and proper service. Thank you!

My mother has lots of complex needs, she has cancer, slight dementia and Parkinsons.

The staff have been amazing with her, very caring and understanding and they try to involve residents in activities. Time and understanding is key. All the staff are professional and treat the residents with respect and dignity. I can't thank them enough. The whole home is trimmed up beautifully for Christmas. Always a friendly face and kind words from all the staff, from office to cleaning.

My grandma has only been here a short while but in that time the love, care, support and reassurance given to both her and all of her family is truly amazing. Sunnyview House have been such an understanding care home for dad's needs, they have worked with me to make dad as safe as possible even to the point where he moved floors. He now is the best he has been since Aug. Dad had some terrible falls quite nasty actually but now I am very pleased to say my mind is 100% at ease. Thank you so much, everyone.

Many thanks for letting me be a resident here in such a lovely home. I just love it here, really settled here, it is my home and I'm sure I couldn't find one better. Your staff are so good, to me they are family than work people. I don't like seeing people butting in on them because of their good nature. But after all, we don't have any trouble, we all seem to get on well together. Thanks again.

Mum has lived in Sunnyview House for over a year now, we have had our ups and downs, good days and bad. Every day is different as mum suffers from dementia so you can imagine the stress me and our family go through. I have spent many hours crying to the care staff and they've been amazing, giving me advice, support and most of all compassion. Mum is very happy there, if we take her out she is always very keen to get back home. Mum has a fantastic relationship with all the staff.

The home offers a loving and caring environment. It's very clean and does not have 'that smell', they have an excellent entertainment team that keep the residents busy, a hairdresser and a keep fit guy. They have set up a cafe in the home so the families can take their relatives there without having to leave the building, the cafe is free and has the best cakes. I would definitely recommend Sunnyview House. A home from home.
