So glad we managed to get mom in to Broadway Halls, the whole experience has been wonderful. Friendly and very helpful staff throughout and the facilities are top draw. From personal care to nutrition and medical requirements the people and place are everything you could wish for. Knowing how mom is being looked after and cared for makes not just mom happy but the whole family. With the tales you sometimes hear regarding care for the elderly, this place restores your faith in humanity. Thank you all so much for giving mom a new lease of life.
Thank you, Richard, for your comments about your experience at Broadway Halls and your incredibly kind feedback. Our residents' wellbeing is our main priority and it is great to hear that you were so pleased with the quality of our care. We always appreciate individuals taking the time to give...
The care shown for my Stepdad by all staff at Broadway Halls was exemplary. There was genuine affection for him from all staff and we as a family could not have wished for better care for him. Thank you so very much.

Really happy with the care Mum receives. She is clean, well-nourished and entertained. Nothing is too much trouble for either residents or visitors. The staff are warm and welcoming. Cannot praise this establishment enough.
Thank you, for your comments about your recent experience at Broadway Halls. Our residents' wellbeing is our main priority, and it is great to hear that you were so pleased with the quality of our care.
Everything is excellent at Barchester Broadway Halls Care Home, that is why we have returned for respite care for my sister for the third time. They make us all feel welcome as a family and we are encouraged to take part in all activities held which is very enjoyable.
Thank you very much for your review. We appreciate your comment and will feedback to the team. We, as a home, promote and encourage personal centred activities and care for all our residents.
My father-in-law has been a resident for just over a year, he has been looked after so well by all the staff, people have gone the extra mile for him and myself. I will miss all the staff so much, everyone is very friendly and jolly, I've never seen any of the residents looking unhappy, they love being in Barchester Broadway Halls Care Home, it makes them feel at home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. The team is passionate about providing the highest quality person-centred care and it is wonderful for them to hear that it is recognised by our families, I will be sure to pass on your comments. All the best.
My husband stayed in Broadway hall for 3 weeks respite he was very well cared for, he was kept very clean. His room was good he was checked on every hour as he is bed ridden so has to have everything done for him. My family were very impressed too. If it got that I could not look after my husband I would very much like him to stay in Broadway hall.
Thank you for your kind comments about our care team. It is so nice to hear that you and your Husband enjoyed your stay with us so much. If you ever need anything in the future, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Basic needs not met let alone any attempts made to maintain any dignity for my very proud and kind parents.
Ask questions to a member of staff, well don't bother you will be answered by either a shrug, it wasn't me or I wasn't on shift. Record keeping on welfare, falls and medication - all I can say is very unreliable!
Cleanliness, disgraceful although housekeeping records are very robust!
Despite raising concerns nothing materially improved to the point where I was asked to move my mother because they couldn't meet my expectations of basic care needs. Following two internal investigations apparently we were wrong and all was well. However, my mother is now in a nursing home where she is cared for amazingly. So thank you Broadway Halls for ending the contract for my mother. It was the best thing that you ever did during the 3 month period of being with you.
Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear your concerns remain unresolved following completion of our formal complaints process. We're disappointed your experience with the home didn't meet your expectations for you and your mother as the home weren't able to continue with her...
I have no hesitation in recommending Broadway Halls for the care of your loved one. My mother has been a resident for over 12 years and is now aged 102. Her longevity is largely thanks to the wonderfully efficient and devoted care afforded her by the staff. The accommodation, meals and regular, stimulating activities all contribute to the residents' wellbeing. Definitely justifies a 5-star rating.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. I am so pleased to hear that yours and yours mother's experience with us is so positive. We are one big family here at Broadway and thank you for being part of that. I will definitely pass your 5* comments on to the team - they...
Visited my mother-in-law who has now been in Barchester Broadway Halls Care Home for three months and was so pleased to see how much she has improved physically and mentally. She is joining in a lot of the activities and is being stimulated which has had a very positive effect on her. We, as a family, are really happy with her progress and the Broadway Halls for making a difference.

I enjoy my visits coming to see my friend. There is always a warm and friendly welcome in reception. My friend is here for respite at present and I cannot believe the change in her. The care staff are very professional, polite and nothing is too much trouble, the food has been enjoyable and lovely. She has been coming out of her shell and enjoys the singers and some activities. Thank you all for looking after my dear friend. She has been well looked after.
Thank you for your kind comments about our home and our care team. We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback for Broadway Halls, and we are so pleased your friend is enjoying her stay here with us. We would welcome you back with open arms should you need us at any point in the future.
After visiting various homes for my mom we decided that Broadway Halls was the one, from the moment we walked through the doors we were welcomed by the lovely member of staff on reception who showed us around and gave us lots of information. There was a really nice atmosphere there and all the staff were very friendly. She has now been there for 1 week and the difference in her is heartwarming, she has already had a complimentary hair do and has had her feet done and looks and feels so much better, I have also had a meal with Mom in the dinning area which was a lovely experience, there was soup for starters a main meal plus a pudding and also a good choice of drinks including a glass of wine or beer and all for £5... I would especially like to thank the member of staff on reception whose communication throughout the transfer process was 1st class and she was very helpful, always reassuring. To see the changes in my mom after such a short time is so heartwarming and I believe she will blossom here.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about our home. I am so pleased to hear that Mum has settled well and that you are enjoying your visits too. We are one big family here at Broadway. Thank you also for your comments about our team, I will be sure to pass on your lovely words.
As a family we are so pleased with the care and support my mom is given. She has settled in really well.
They arrange activities and entertainment for all and even arrange trips out.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We are pleased Mum has settled well and that you recognise the quality of care provided by our wonderful team - I will be sure to pass on your 5* comments. Welcome to the Broadway Halls family.
Our dear friend moved into Broadways Halls in December 2023. She received Nursing Care and I cannot thank the staff enough. The home is managed and run with professional care, integrity empathy, and a smile. I cannot name names but suffice to say there are so many members of staff who deserve my sincere thanks and praise. The staff is happy in their work and they are led so well by the manager. I have absolutely no complaints. I want to thank, the staff at reception for their warmth and personal greeting on every visit, the nurses and the carers, the maintenance staff, the cleaners and the catering staff, the management and admin, and finally the entertainment staff. In this day and age, it is all too common to see and read negativity or other criticism. My praise and gratitude are just a small token of how happy I am with Broadway Halls.
Thank you for your review. We value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Thank you also for your positive comments regarding our home and team, who work hard to deliver high standards of quality care at all times. I will pass on your feedback to the team.

My mother is a resident in the dementia ward there, and I cannot find fault with anything, especially the wonderful staff on this floor. They do their very best during very difficult circumstances to try to make the residents as comfortable as they can. Special thanks to the lead on this floor. The team excel at entertainment and always comes up with new and unusual ideas to keep them entertained.

Mom has been a resident at Broadway Halls since August this year and was a little worried about her moving to somewhere new as she had been in her previous care home for eight years, but I am extremely satisfied with how welcome the staff have made her and the care she receives by all.

Meet the Team (10)

I joined the Barchester family in July 2025, after spending over two decades devoting my life to the compassionate care of individuals living within Dementia, Nursing and Residential care homes and the NHS. I am a trained Nurse by background.
I cared for my gentle dad who developed dementia, and I truly believe that unless you have had personal experience of such heartache, no one can really understand both the sad and happy times during such a journey. Dementia does not define a person, and every person’s journey is different.
Throughout my 20-year career, I have worked in numerous settings, from small family-run homes to large-scale care companies, consistently advocating for person-centred care. Within this, I regularly emphasise tailored and meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation, physical health, and emotional well-being, with family and friends at the heart. I also served abroad in the armed forces as a nurse.
As I look to the future, I remain committed to my vision of care homes as vibrant communities where everyone can live meaningful, fulfilling lives. I will continue to inspire new generations of caregivers, ensuring that my legacy of compassion and excellence will endure for years to come. I have an unwavering belief in the human spirit’s capacity to thrive — no matter what the circumstances.
I am looking forward to welcoming people to Broadway Halls to experience the stunning care and environment that we have to offer.

Rino is our Clinical Deputy Manager; she provides hands-on clinical leadership, ensuring care is delivered in line with best practice, regulatory standards, and Barchester values. Rino supports audits, clinical governance, and staff mentoring, while maintaining a clear focus on residents' safety, dignity, and quality of life.

I am thrilled to be Administrator at Broadway Halls, having joined the wonderful team here in early 2023. I have worked in administration for many years, including HR elements, and this is the first care home I have worked in. I love the variety in the role, meeting our residents and their families and supporting the process to them moving in to our home. I also support fellow team members. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, watching tennis and spending time with my family.

I have worked in care since 2013, and I absolutely love supporting people. I enjoy helping our residents, their families and my fellow team members when I can. I also support people and their families who are choosing a care home, answering any questions they may have and showing them our lovely home. It's a pleasure being part of the Broadway Halls team!

I joined the Broadway Halls team in 2020 as a Carer and was promoted to Team Leader and then Dementia Champion during my time on the Care team. I then moved over to the Administration Team in June 2025. Before working at Broadway Halls, I previously worked in mental health in challenging environments. I love my job as I get to interact with our residents every day, and now also get to welcome people to Broadway Halls and be one of the first faces they see when they visit us. I can't imagine working anywhere else!

I'm Jennifer, and I am the Dementia Lead at Broadway Halls. I support our 3 Dementia Champions who are all part of our Memory Lane Community. I have worked in care since 2005 and started in 2018 at Broadway Halls. I am passionate about ensuring every Resident on Memory Lane receives quality care, with a person-centred approach, in an enriching environment.

I started at Broadway Halls as a Kitchen Assistant and, through training and determination, I have worked my way up to the position of Head Chef, which I am incredibly proud of. Working in a care home as a chef, I have to think more about the eating needs and dietary requirements of the residents. There are various textures of food, special diets, diabetics, vegetarians, and so much more. It can be challenging, but I love it and have an amazing team to work with!

Hi, I'm Chris, the Sous Chef here at Broadway Halls.
I previously worked at Broadway Halls from 2014 and left to develop my skills in a fine dining restaurant in Birmingham. I was pleased to re-join the team in November 2024 - I missed the people, the Residents and the homely culture that comes with working in care.
I have worked in hospitality since I left school and I am passionate about the dishes I create and serve. My signature dish is chicken and spinach pasta, tossed in a creamy sauce.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and walking my dog. Aston Villa is my team, and when they are not playing, I enjoy following horse racing, and when the time allows, a day at the races is always welcome!

Steve joined the team as a permanent member in August 2025, having previously supported the home on a bank basis. During this time, Steve consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Justyna is a dedicated and compassionate Lead Activities Coordinator in Broadway who is passionate about enhancing the well-being and quality of life of residents through meaningful, engaging and person-centred activities.
She began her journey with Barchester as a Care Assistant before progressing to Activities Assistant and then Lead Activities Coordinator.
Justyna enjoys building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues and takes pride in creating a warm, supportive and enjoyable environment where residents can thrive.
